We received this item as a shower gift with our first child. The prince lionheart wipe warmer is a very nice item it you have the time and money to invest in it. I did not like having another thing to plug into the wall. While it was great having warm wipes for my son he did not have warm wipes anywhere else so sometimes he would get fussy if he was changed elsewhere. You also had to be diligent about keeping the ever fresh pad wet (weekly) and you had to change the pad out frequently too. The refills come in a pack of 2 for 8.99 which is a little costly for the item itself. I recently tried to sell my wipe warmer and did not have any interest in it. I have not and do not plan to use it was my daughter. It is just another invention that sounds really nice but when you are a sleep deprived new mom you don 't want to have to wonder whether or not you changed the pad in the wipe warmer. If you don't it may also turn some of your wipes a yellow/brown color and dry them out....
...

EmpressGeek says "A wipes warmer makes for warm, happy bums." about Prince Lionheart The Ultimate Wipes Warmer with Everfresh System

Both my son and I LOVE the Prince Lionheart Wipes Warmer! He got to where he would fight a diaper change in the winter, and we were very worried until we really sat and thought about it. We realized his little bum was just getting cold from the cold, clammy wipes, and straight to Wal-mart we went! Within a week he wasn't fighting the diaper changes anymore, and we were a much happier family in general. This wipes warmer doesn't discolor wipes, and as long as you remember to keep the inner pad moist it keeps them wet, warm, and ready to use. However, it is really hard to remember to dampen that pad, I recommend dampening it every time you put new wipes in, or you will forget and end up with a crispy yellow pad. The unti also runs warm enough to where I'm afraid to leave it sitting on the floor, where we normally do diaper changes, I feel safer with it sitting on a hard surface. All in all, however, we couldn't live without out. I know my son approves!
...

We originally bought the Lionheart Wipes Warmer because it was cheap as part of a deal. Now that the baby is here, we really see a difference having warm wipes can make. If we're out and don't have the warmer, the baby howls through the diaper change, while with the warmer, she's usually pretty content. The only issue is that the lid doesn't always stay closed....

This warmer is easy to use and set up. It needs the moist "pillow" on the bottom to stay moist so as long as you are diligent then it works great at keeping the wipes fresh. I forgot a few times, even if I didn't need to do this often, and some wipes browned but it didn't bother me. It is also very affordable and well worth it . It made a big difference during overnight changes. My son went back to sleep quicker and cried less which made us all happy. Those little things are a big deal under the burden of sleep deprivation! ...

MaineMomof2 says "A great idea - but not something on my "must have" list.." about Prince Lionheart The Ultimate Wipes Warmer with Everfresh System

I got this item after using it when I was watching my baby cousins. I liked it mostly for the fact that it was a great storage tool for wipes and the added plus was that it kept the wipes warm which was GREAT for those cold, uncomfortable days when the LAST thing you would want touching your bum would be a cold wipe!

I may be spoiling my infant a little, and honestly - I don't use this all the time. I probably wouldn't add it to my "absolutely need to have" list when preparing for a newborn, but it is a nice thing to have if you feel bad about using cold wipes on your little one.

A couple things I noticed when I used this for an extended period of time was that the wipes seem to dry out more easily. The last five or six wipes are always dried up, which I would say would be a big con to the product. I think its because the pillows do not seem to hold in the moisture that they should. I also noticed that the pillows seem to brown easily - even if they aren't left in the warmer for...
...

I was given this wipes warmer as a gift when I was a first-time parent. At first, it seemed like a grand idea! But, when you really think about it, what do you do when you are out and about with only cold wipes in your bag?

I found this wipes warmer to be totally unnecessary. I used it for a little while and then stopped after thinking about it. I think it's a nice idea, but not a necessity.

One thing I found is that if you leave it open, it dries out and the ever-fresh pillow begins to "burn". I was pretty good about closing it after each diaper use, but my husband never remembered. You also have to remember to keep the ever-fresh pillow moist, which I could not remember every time. I wound up giving the warmer away.

I never used anything like it for my second child and she is turning out fine. A little chill from a baby wipe isn't going to hurt your little one or traumatize them.
...

To all new parents,

This is the best wipe warmer. I tried another brand the one that begins with Mun. I will have had these, yes these, (one for every place I change the boys) for two years in January. I have had no problems at all. I do have to change the pad every so often b/c of my own forgetfulness to add water. When you let the water really dry out it browns the pad. Also, the manufacturer is very nice to deal with. They told me I could wash the pads in the washing machine & every so often I do & it really works well. I hope this helps any new parents out. I have recommended this product to all my friends.
...

At first I thoughht this was a waste of money and electricity (since it's plugged in 24/7), so I never put one on my registry. However, one of my girlfriends used one, I saw how peaceful diaper changing could be, and quickly added it to my registry. Once my son was born, I soon realized how simple diaper changing was when your wipes stash was easily accessible. As you moms know holding your baby and having to snap wipes out of a box, without it falling over is challenging. The fact that they are warm is a bonus, not to mention this means a comforting nighttime diaper ritual for you and your baby. After all, would you want to use a cold wipe in the middle of the night?
...

My sister in law swears by this warmer and went through 2 with her two boys. She loved the fact that this warmer had the ever fresh pack to keep the wipes from browning. My experience with it is that the ever fresh pack did work, but it was a pain to buy more and to re-wet it. The reason we got another one is that the lid stopped staying shut so we would have to set something on top of it which would inevitable fall on the floor and the warmer would be open drying out. So it's not my favorite product. I then bought a Munchkin warmer and it is great!! It doesn't use an ever-fresh pack but still keeps wipes warm, moist and not brown. The top wipe dries out a bit if you don't use a wipe for a while, but that is a minor thing....

I absolutely love this wipe warmer. I wasn't sure about it at first so I didn't put it on my resgistry. I was out at yard sales and found it so I decided to buy it for a whopping $2. I would pay the full price for the product, we love it! It's great for changing our twin girls on cold nights...and great for me since I don't have to listen to them cry when the cold wipes touches their little bottoms! I have found that an entire pack of wipes is sometimes a little tight but they fit just fine....

Far from being over-indulgent to little babies, I think a wipes warmer is the only considerate way to change a diaper at three am. If you agree with my point of view, the Prince Lionheart Ultimate Wipes Warmer is a good option. I used mine more times a day than I'd like to remember for about sixteen months. In addition to being a compassionate tool, I've also found a wipes warmer to be a better way to store the wipes you are using than the packages they come in. Many brands of wipes dry up within days of opening the package, along with four-fifths of the unused wipes. Other brands' designs for getting the wipes out of the box are problematic or simply useless. This warmer solved those problems for me, because it is very easy to get wipes into and out of it, and it keeps wipes much more damp than they would be even in a freshly opened package. A very wet, warm wipe means each one does a better job cleaning up, and that means you use fewer wipes in the long run. If a wipes warmer helps...
...
