ecw2000 says "I was very pleased with this product" about Presto Microwave Popcorn Popper - PowerPop Multi-Popper

I was/am very pleased with Presto's PowerPop Microwave Popcorn Popper. It is easy to use; easy to clean; can be used with or without oil, with or without salt and with or without butter. I have been able to reuse the popping cardboard/paper inserts several times each and find they are worth the money in the long run.

I really like that you can just pop, remove from the microwave and start eating without dirtying any more dishes. The resulting popcorn is healthier that microwave popcorn popped in bags with the additives and artificial ingrediants. I can control how much oil, butter and salt (if any) that is used.

Clean up is a breeze and it is dishwasher safe. The product is worth the price and I have recommended this popper to many friends. Because I don't have to worry about the lack of an on/off switch or the outside heating up (as with the electric oil-heater popcorn machines), I find this to be one of the most family/child-friendly popcorn poppers.
...

This popcorn maker has made life so much easier! No more burnt bags of popcorn. The taste this popper offers and its easy use and setup are qualities that drew me to the product originally. Basically you use the kernals, oil, pouring both together into the popper before placing in the mirowave. It is nice because you are not forced to turn on the stove to pop the kernals. Our microwave pops a full popper in under 2 minutes, and this fresh air popped popcorn is an entire family hit. Plus, the heath benefits from this popcorn make microwave popcorn a thing of the past in our family. Look for low fat oil to make this air popped treat even healthier! You do have to buy liners for the popcorn maker, but they are fairly inexpensive, and one package has lasted us over a year, even with frequent use. The popper is easy to clean, just pop out the liner and run soap and water in the bowl...I believe it even might be dishwasher safe!
...

I've tried a few microwave popcorn poppers that were even less expensive and they always ended up cracking after a few weeks of daily use. (I like my popcorn, OK?) I hesitated to try the Presto Microwave popcorn popper because of the paper insert (the "concentrator") that you place in the bottom. It seemed like just another thing that would make the process more complicated than it needs to be. I mean, microwave popcorn in the pre-filled bags is so easy! Except for the sodium and chemicals involved. Anyway, I finally bought this when a friend told me that her sister loves hers. I have been pleasantly surprised! The first few times you use it most of the kernels pop, which is very satisfying for some reason. If you don't use salt or oil you can re-use the concentrator many times, although I find that I don't get as many uses from it as the reviewers on another website seem to. I probably replace the concentrator after every 10 uses. I have used it daily for about four...
...

I was skeptical when my husband bought the Presto Microwave Popper and a bag of popcorn kernels. It has proven to be one of the best, purchases that we have made in the last several years. No more preservatives and toxins from traditional microwave popcorn. With the popper you use can use very little oil (maybe no oil is possible?) and nearly every kernel pops every time.
...

The Presto Microwave Popcorn Popper - PowerPop Multi-Popper is the greatest popcorn popper ever! I bought mine about a year and a half ago and absolutely love it. I was a big fan of the microwavable bags for the longest time, but then I heard stories of the so called 'popcorn lung' in the news and that was the end of the microwave popcorn for me. So I started searching for a way to make popcorn in the microwave without a bag or oily butter and I found this. It's great -- I can make plain organic popcorn without any harsh ingredients or chemicals in the popper and it comes out just perfect. I use my Misto sprayer to spray some olive oil (instead of butter) and whatever seasoning salt I'm in the mood for on there and it's the perfect, healthy, low-calorie treat. I even bought my mother one and she loves it too. The paper tray refills that go in the bottom were hard to find at first and I wondered if I would be able to find them anywhere a year later, and I have. I've seen...
...

My mother n law gave us one of these and it works awesome. We've used it 4 years now and we make popcorn using Olive Oil. It's an easy and yummy way to make popcorn. You can also buy the little cups in bulk for a low price online, but you can use the same cup for months before you really have to replace it. We love it!...

Presto Microwave Popcorn Popper (Powerpop) is great! After I got one, my Nephew, age 8 wanted one. So he asked for one for Christmas! It works with or without the paper disks that go in the bottom, is dishwasher safe, and can be wiped out between uses. I LOVE it! I always find the paper trays at Wal-Mart. I use the popper as a bowl so I don't have to dirty another one....

Presto microwave popcorn popper: great item! pops MOST of the kernels, the ones it doesn't pop you can leave in the bottom and re-pop to finish them off although it tells you not to. The only downside to it is that you can't put butter in it to get a good buttery taste. you have to melt butter separately and pour it over top if you want it. ...

My mother has a Presto PowerPop Microwave Multi-Popper and I always loved movie and popcorn night.....when I moved away from home popcorn never tasted the same unless I went through the trouble of popping it in a pan on the stove, or went to the movies and paid outrageous prices for it! For my Birthday recently my mom bought me one and she bought lots of extra paper trays for me also since they are harder to come by. We are a dedicated Presto PowerPop family---even my brothers have one! If you Love Popcorn you will Love it even more when you use this item---I Guarantee it!...

I eat popcorn at least three times a week. It is my snack of choice. I have enjoyed the convenience of the Presto Power Pop for over 20 years - -I am on my third one! The thing I like best is you can pop without oil and then add butter to your popped popcorn! Regular popcorn is MUCH cheaper than microwave popcorn, and with the Power Pop you get the convenience of microwave popcorn, the healthy aspect of air popping and the thriftiness of plain popcorn! The only thing I don't care for is having to replace the paper trays, but, again, if you don't use oil they last much longer....

I received a Presto 04830 PowerPop Microwave Multi-Popper years ago as a gift and happy to see they are still making them. You can make popcorn with or without oil and either way the popcorn pops up great. The popcorn maker uses two innovations that helps microwave radiation onto the popcorn. First is a removable base that locks onto the transparent bowl. Second is a disposable paper tray that fits into the bowl's bottom. A package of eight cups accompanies the unit, and others can be purchased separately. Each is good for about 12 batches when used with oil or 24 without oil. Both bowl and lid are dishwasher-safe. I buy the disposable paper trays at Wal-mart and they have the popper as well (I always buy a few packs of the trays when I see them). I have had mine for about 6 years now and it still pops popcorn as good as the first day I had it. This popper has also been endorsed by Orville Redenbacher and that man new his popcorn! You can buy this for around $20 and it pays...
...
