The Presto Deep Fryer FryDaddy 05420 is another handy kitchen appliance especially for people in the deep south who like their foods deep fried. This Deep Fryer is great to fry things such as french fries, shrimp or even chicken. It is also great for making homemade onion rings.

It makes cooking easy and fun and it is even better when you are done because there is less cleanup afterwards.

You can use the oil several times after you fry something. It has a temperature control where you can set the grease at what temperature you think is best for frying.

It has a plastic lid for it to use when storing the deep fryer when it isn't in use.

There is a slotted spatula to help with dipping the food out of the hot grease when it is finished frying.

I would strongly suggests this deep fryer to anyone interested in buying a deep fryer. The size is convenient for kitchn counters. It is small enough to move around if you need space on the counter when it isn't in use also. On an overall biew I would...

I absolutely love the fry daddy. Using it is a pleasure. I not only use it for deep frying but I have a little sausge, potato, and cheese dish I make with it. It is a versatile appliance I think every kitchen in america should have one

This small counter top fryer is definitely for the budget conscious.

Drawbacks-

It does not come with a basket for adding or removing food from the hot oil. Likewise, the FryDaddy is not a "cool" device. The sides will burn if touched during cooking, so please exercise caution. The FryDaddy lacks a lid, so expect some oil to escape while cooking.

Pros: It does as intended. Fries food quickly and easily. Great little fryer for college students or for those who would use a fryer infrequently. Easy to clean. Snap on lid makes for easy storage.

This fry daddy is great. It is perfect for all my frying needs. I love especially to use it to cook fries. I grew up with one in my home. When I moved out I realized I just had to have one of my own! Little did I know, the product has a very economical price tag, which fit with my poor college student budget....

We love our Presto Deep Fryer - FryDaddy 05420 without it dinner would not be the same, we use it three or four times a week ever thing from patato's to liver sometimes we fry french fry's and chicken in less then one hour for seven or eight people with our time well used clean up is fast and easy.the oil is easy to clean up and not all over the stove.I don't see how my mother ever lived with out this.Cooking fried chicken all the time.now if gravy was as easy all would be good.

Works and is a great brand, but this model doesn't hold much, lid is flimsy, gets dirty fast, and is messy to use. This might be a good product for a college student, but if you want to fry stuff spring for the Presto FryDaddy in a bigger size. I use my FryDaddy every Friday to cook fish and love it! The only drawback is cleaning it...it's not so easy to do....

this fry daddy isn't very big, but i'm not cooking for 50. my lid has long been gone due to it melting, however i have a glass lid that fits perfect. if this fryer ever goes out i will buy another one. it is small enough to leave out on my counter or put away in my cabnit.

Presto Fry Daddy Dep Fryer is very handy and simple to use for one or two people. I had one and used it for several years. I finally gave it away to another person and upgraded to a larger flash fryer and have had to replace it already. If you want a reasonable priced deep fryer then buy the Presto Fry Daddy Deep Fryer. The most in-expensive deep fryer to buy and use.

I bought my Presto Fry Daddy Deep Fryer at a lower price than the price advertised now, which is very unusual. This deep fryer is great for families that are watching their budget and worth the cost to use for a family if willing to fry several batches of food for your family. This deep fryer uses very little cooking oil and can be emptied to use the oil for several times without replacing it. The cost of use is very minimal with today's food prices at their highest without the sight of food prices decreasing in the near future.

I have one of these and use it all the time. We fry everything from fish sticks to chicken nuggets for my grandson in a flash. It 's really handy that the oil stays in the kettle so that you don't have to try to cool it and pour it into a container to save. Fish sticks come out crispier faster than in the oven. We use our Fry Daddy at least once a week. We bread and fry our own vegetables from the garden. Okra and zucchini are great done in this little kettle. This is one of the best Christmas gifts Santa ever put under my tree!!!
