My Presto Deep Fryer gets a lot of use. We love homemade french fries, doughnuts, tater tots, and monte cristo sandwiches. This fryer is much easier to use than the old fry daddy I used to have. Holds a lot more oil, heats up quickly and is easy to clean. It has a temperature selector so you can choose how hot you wish to have your oil based on what you are cooking. The double baskets make it possible to cook two separate foods at the same time. My only complaint would be to have a little larger basket for cooking large quantities of foods. My kids love french fries and I can barely get a batch done that they haven't eaten before the next batch is ready! If you are looking for a great all around fryer, the Presto Deep Fryer is the way to go. I would never go back to a messy old fry daddy again. The Presto Deep Fryer - Duo ProFry is great. I love the fact that you can make two different foods at one time or a huge batch of french fries. Who doesn't love french fries? LOL It makes frying so much easier now. The fryer has a non-spatter lid, two small collapsible and removable baskets. So while I'm making french fries for the kids I can also make onion rings for me. It comes apart easily and is very easy to clean. The inner pan lifts out to empty and wash. There are two lines on the inside of the fryer showing how high to fill the oil. That way you never put to much. The fryer has a temp control knob. That sure helps to ensure the oil temp is where you need it to be. The oil heats up very fast. It comes in a black and chrome finish. And does not take up too much space. I would recommend this appliance to others and if I needed to replace it one day - it would be the same unit.

We bought the Presto deep fryer a month ago and have been very happy with it so far. I have owned two other fryers and they don't come close to this one.

The Presto Deep Fryer - Dual ProFry is one of the best products since the Crock Pot! The only style of cooking that interests my husband is deep frying his foods in the Dual ProFryer.

This PRESTO DEEP FRYER is the most amazing PRESTO DEEP FRIER I have ever encountered!

I love fried things, but my whole family became vegan and we were uncomfortable with using a PRESTO DEEP FRYER that had touched meat and dairy, so I went on the search for a new PRESTO DEEP FRYER. I'm so glad I chose this one! Nothing fries organic kale better! The kale was crispy on the outside, and almost lightly steamed on the inside...mmmm!

Even better were the oatmeal fritters I made for breakfast the other morning. Seriously, this is great! Just make some really thick oatmeal (McCann's Irish Oats work well!), roll in in flour, and stick in the PRESTO DEEP FRYER. Perfect, and oatmeal contains so much fiber you know this is good for your digestive tract!

My only complaint is that after frying too many vegetables in my PRESTO DEEP FRYER, the oil starts to smell terrible! And organic peanut oil is no cheap item! I have switched to using oil I get from my cousin, who is a chef at McDonald's....

The Presto Dual Pro Fry Deep Fryer is a great appliance for use at home. We have tried many others and were not satisfied until we gave this one a try. It heats up fast and has two large baskets. You can use one or two at a time. You can do two different foods or double portions of one food item. It makes two big batches of home-made french fries in no time at all. And considering its' size, it does not take up much counter or storage space. It is easily stored in the kitchen pantry or cabinets. It is also very reasonably priced at around $65.00. On sale you can save another $10 to $15. We have had ours for about two years. It has never dripped any oil. The temperature control is very accurate. We save the oil for using multiple times. It requires very little clean-up, so that part is a breeze. My daughter loves ours so much, that she has it on her Christmas list this year. We did have to look at quite a few stores before we found this item, but we did finally find it at Fleet Farm. I......

I received a deep fryer as a gift - the Presto Dual Basket Pro Fry.

It is an outstanding product - allows me to fry one large batch or 2 smaller batches at the same time, heats quickly, maintains heat, has a non-spatter lid, and collapsible and removable basket handles for easy storage. It comes apart easily and is the easiest pan I have to clean. The inner pan lifts right out to empty and wash. Another plus is the fact that it is quite light.
Having never owned or used a deep fryer before,I found the instruction booklet to be quite useful and easy to understand. I love it. I use this for all my cooking. I cook only with the fryer. I love to cook. I love eating the fatty food. This is the best thing in the world. I love how easy and fast it cooks. Please buy it. Then send one as a gift for christmas. This is a must buy. I don't use it often but I do use it when we have parties or i cater an open house. We are in the deep south and fried chicken, onion rings, veggies are very popular. This fryer heats fast, holds the temperature and if you are into fried foods of any kind, I would whole-heartedly recommend it. It's not too bad on the budget either....
