The Presto Cool Daddy Deep Fryer is one of my favorite kitchen appliances. We use this when we want French Fries that taste like they came from a fast food restaurant. We also use it to make ooey-gooey mozzarella sticks. It may add on a little extra fat and calories, but if used in moderation, it is well worth it. I highly recommend this product. Small and light weight, it's easy to store and the oil last for at least 10 uses!
...

The Presto Deep Fryer-Cool Daddy is a great appliance for everyday cooking. We use it to make french fries, doughnuts, shrimp, chicken, rosettes-you name it!!

I Love the cool touch feature, it makes it safer to use with a six year old around. I also like the fact that you can cover it while things cook, less splattering=less cleanup!! The basket is also a very handy feature. My son loves his french fries for this fryer he says it is just like at the restaurant.
...

bobredbird says "great fryer, good for small spaces like kitchen counter tops" about Presto Deep Fryer - Cool Daddy

We use this fryer around the holidays. It's great just place it on the counter top near the stove and cooking is done in one area. Frying everything from shrimp, rice balls, sweet potato fries and even dessert items. it's just a great appliance and does not take up alot of space and clean up is easy. There are so many thing that can be cooked in the COOL DADDY FRYER that would free up stove space. Things cook so fast in the fryer it also speeds up the rime to finish meals when you are cooking for alot of guests. This would be great for cooking cornish game hens each person could have a fried hen that would taste great and only take minutres to cook. The taste of these games hen are fantastic so juicy and tender and not dried out. You can also inject flovoribg into the meat to add some zing to the tatse. The larger fryers have to used outside beacuse of the danger of flash backs due to over filling the fryers with too much oil can overflow onto the open flame and result in a nasty fire...
...

bschoonover9 says "I love the Presto Deep Fryer-Cool Daddy" about Presto Deep Fryer - Cool Daddy

I had used the Fry Daddy and Fry Grandpappy and loved them both. When the Presto Cool Daddy Fryer came out I bought it for my husband (since he love Fried anything) and for the fact that the lid closes. It is easy to clean & easy to use. I never had a problem with leakage or the power plug. The only problem is once you put whatever it is your cooking into the pot you need to move it around a little so it won't stick when cooking. I cook everything in this fryer vegetables, chicken, fish, crab cakes, fritters, mini corn dogs....

Presto Deep Fryer - Cool Daddy

My problem with this item is that it takes way to long to heat up and the power plug doesn't seem to stay in! I also find it messy to clean up after and hard to clean up too! I even have to cut cardboard to place under it in fear that grease / oil will leak everywhere during use not something I would ever purchase again in this brand!
...

CyndiA says "It's the thought that counts. No. I don't think so. " about Presto Deep Fryer - Cool Daddy

We love homemade French fries. They are much better than the frozen "heat 'n eat" ones. We also deep fry several other foods like crab cakes and onion rings.

I used a Fry Daddy for years. Loved that machine. It was getting worn out.

I decided to upgrade to the Presto Cool Touch. Oh yes. I was excited about getting such a nice fryer.

The Cool Daddy has a case around the actual fryer. That's why it's cool to the touch.

Then there's a lid. I thought that would cut down on splatters. It has a window in the top as well to watch the food. Unfortunately the window fogs up. So much for that feature. Also, the food dosn't come out right with the lid closed, so we end up frying with it wide open anyway.

If the lid is closed, then there are little filters in the top that need to be changed out. That's another step and an extra expense.

This machine looks big, but it's really not. I don't think it holds any more than the old Fry Daddy which was much smaller. This thing is so big that it has to live on...
...
