It runs smooth, it's good on gas and it has a nice look to it. The only problem is cleaning the windshield and back window, they are at such a slope that it's really hard to reach the bottom of them....

Hi all,

I have owned 3 other Pontiac Gran Prix and I would recommend them to everyone. They are a perfect car for saftey, cost, and value. My husband was in a car accident with 1 of our Gran Prix's and in any other car he would not be here today, that was stated by the police. The car was a total loss and he had a sore knee and a bruise chest from the seat belt. It was amazing. We have just purchased the 2006 Gran Prix due to the fact that I have MS and we need a vehicle that I could get in an out of a lot easier and I could drive. We had a truck before and that was not working for me. So I am a very happy person now.
...

ok, so 17 inch alloy wheels, v8supercharged blah blah blah...

Girls you know we don't "really" care about all of that! We traded the "MannyVan" for the Grand Prix and I couldn't be any happier!

Leather seats with front seat warmers. Remote auto start--great for hot summers and cold winters! Lots of trunk space--roomy enough for many shopping bags, large luggage and the occasional rowdy teenager...just kidding--don't try that at home!

This car provides a great balance of style, comfort and safety.

...

My Grand Prix was a second choice, but I LOVE IT now!

The mileage isn't too bad, if you don't have a lead foot. However, if you're quick off the line and really don't try to increase your mileage, you will only get about 17mpg. I'm getting 21mpg and do city driving.

The inside of the car is HUGE compared to how it looks on the outside.

I really haven't found a thing that I don't like about the car...maybe I should be on a commercial, eh? Seriously, I really like the car and have had it for 1 1/2 years.

Plus...it makes me look younger!!!

...

i am a car dealer's daughter, so i know what i need when im given a new car. usually my dad gives me the cars that "dont sell" which means you wouldnt want it. but i fought with my dad to get it and have been very pleased

the grand prix is great for a city dweller-part time commuter-long distance traveller. it's reliable and gas efficient for its size.

the size is great. i wish the base model had more features, but its fine.

looks great, hands superbly, its not the most powerful, but city girls don't need that much power.

overall its the best car ive ever had, and i wish i still had it. im considering buying my own (gts model) very soon
...

Jo says "Wishy Washy feelings about the Pontiac Grand Prix 2006." about Pontiac Grand Prix 2006

We rented a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix to get from New York to Massachusetts.

The features:

The car we rented was the automatic 4-door sedan. It had a 3.8L supercharged V6 engine. This was the GT model which is a step up from the basic model. It was a 5-seater. The car had less than 30,000 miles on it.

Some of the standard items that the basic model comes with include front wheel drive; 17-inch alloy all season tires; front bucket seats; height adjustable driver seat; rear split bench seat; and split-folding second row seat; OnStar and a rear spoiler.

Inside:

The specifications on the inside include 38.8 inches of front head room; 54.5 inches of front hip room; 58 inches of front shoulder room and 42.6 inches of front leg room. The back gives you 42.2 inches of rear leg room. This gave my husband and me plenty of room in the front. The back would be a bit tight for 3 adults.

The seats went down fully so I could take a nice nap. I didn’t find the seats though to be super comfortable....
...
