Great car for gas mileage. Although If you have more than two children in carseats then this car is not for you....

I recently purchased a used 2006 Pontiac G6 from Marty Feldman Chevrolet and It was a good experience. They were very helpful in accommodating to my needs for a new car. I was also in a time crunch after my prior car died. I searched around for about four days and after deliberating with certain dealerships Marty Feldman's offered the most insight and help. They were very responsive, quick, and had good customer service. If every I were to need to purchase a car I would go to them again. I will recommend others to them as well. If you must have a automatic starter then so be it, but if it is not needed leave it where someone of necessary need can find it. I have had problems with this car 1 year after I bought it brand new...in and out the shop...save your money, seem like they are cutting the cord on Pontiac anyway.....I am sad the car is sharp but almost a lemon......

Before I bought my Pontiac G6, I looked at a lot of cars. I went online and researched the options I wanted and needed. I needed a car that had enough room for my dogs, when I travel, without being cramped. I wanted a car that had a big enough engine to climb hills easily, and it does.

I like that you have to go into the trunk to release the back seats when you want them put down, it gives added security to the trunk area.

At first, after the economy tanked, I almost regreted buying my car, but it is a great car and the gas mileage is as good or better that a lot of the economy cars coming out. On the open road, depending on the road condition, I get from 35 to 40 MPG. Around town, usually 27 MPG.

The tires are a bit expensive tho, but I shopped around when I replaced them. At Les Scwab I bought all four for a little over 600.00, a lot, but less expensive than other places.

The seats could be better, but overall, I love the car.

I purchased my pre-owned 2006 V6 G6 two years ago. It looks small but there is actually quite a bit of room in the back seat as well as the trunk. Pretty smooth ride. Really easy to park...I say this because it's pretty difficult to park in my garage, but I have no problems with the car. I love my sunroof for the summer and the remote start in the winter! It's a pretty basic car with not too many bells or whistles. I had a few problems with the car a few months after I purchased it (tail lights, steering, tie rod) but everything was covered under warranty. Overall, a good purchase but my next car will be a little bigger.

i rented this car.... twice... i have pontiac grand prix... this car kicks butt... hills..... what hills, it has great power and is ok on gas... cant beat that!!

I have the 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP. The car is very fast and sharp looking. It has a great interior and exterior design. The only problems I have had with the car is gas mileage. If I use regular gas I only get about 17/21 MPG... However, if I use premium gas I get slightly better at 19/25 MPG. Also, it cost me $225 to replace ONE tire because of the low profile rims on the car....

I love this car! It is not a tank, but yet it is roomy. It gets great gas mileage, but will get up and go when you need it to. I drive about 80 miles per day, and will continue to drive my G6 for years to come. I have had it for 2 years and it's been great....

I test drove the vehicle for a few days, and was very pleased with the performance, the price and the gas mileage. It handled very well for town driving as well as interstate driving, as I do an extensive amount of out-of-state traveling.

I was ready to buy within a few days, and I'm glad I did!!

I love this car! We leased it in June 06 and are planning on getting a new one when our lease is up. We have the GT model with leather heated seats, a 6-disc cd changer, and sunroof. The car is a joy to drive and ride in. The option to switch to manual transmission on the fly is my husband's favorite feature. This car has great safety records and feels substantial while driving, but not "heavy". This car is great for family use or for those without kids as well. ...

If you want an economical, but sporty and fast car, buy the G6 GT. I have not one con for this car, I love it. I do miss my truck though. Great gas mileage and fun to drive, all in one package. Once you drive this car you will be amazed at the pick-up and control on the road, in any condition....
