I was so excited about this product. I have two dogs that both shed and I am constantly dragging vacuum cleaners across every imaginable surface. I must look ridiculous in the process. When about this sweeper I wasn't expecting it to be a piece of flexible plastic that was only one time use. I wanted something sustainable, something I didn't have to go replace every couple of uses. It picks up some hair, I will give it that, but it just seems like I can clean off both dogs beds and it's already shot. Five bucks for cleaning that small amount just seems like a waste.

I tried this product from the commercial you see about the small room filled with black cats. I was very impressed with the white sofa being completely hair free. I thought to myself I need to try this.

I bought one and no more than got home and I was using it. I didn't really like rubbing back and forth like that till I got a new couch that hair doesn't stick in. It picks up the hair with just a couple rubs back and forth. It takes me about 15 minutes to get my furniture hair free now and I like it.

I not only have 3 cats that all think they own the couch when we aren't home but also a small dog who thinks she owns it while we are home so I get a lot of hair on my furniture and this product just takes it away with no problems.

I found the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair to be a nice alternative to the lint roller and other pet hair removers out on the market. I found a pack of three of these at my local wharehouse store (Costco) for just under ten dollars. We have two pets in our household who shed like crazy and I can never seem to get ahead of the pet hair no matter how much I clean. And the hand vac I use in between vacuuming never seems to get it all. Besides that I have tried everything from rolls and rolls of duct tape, to the famous lint rollers with the expensive refills to the special sponges and even the 3M remover with the replaceable strip.

This Pledge Fabric Sweeper is by far the easiest, and the least messy item I have tried. I don't agree with the comment that it doesnt cover territory quickly because I wasted no time cleaning the living room and the back and forth motion explained in the intructions works fast. I have smaller hands and I had no trouble haning onto the handle. I liked that...

Upon checking out the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair at the WalMart Supercenter, I have come to the conclusion that this product has possibilities for me. Having 5 Jack Russell Terriers who do live inside with us, pet hair is a big problem. I cover furniture with sheets or old bedspreads, washing bi-weekly, if not more and vaccum not sweep. If one of the girls goes to town or if everyone has to go to the Vet, my mini-van becomes the "Hairy Van". We use sticky rollers on our clothes so we are presentable.

The Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair seems to be a great lightweight, easy to use product that is a cut above the old sticky roller. I havn't purchased one yet, I do plan to buy one as they appear to be very effective ad easy to use in the removal of pet hair in the car, I want to test it first on my granddaughter's car seat.

I would like to see them make a Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair that is reuseable. I have trouble with disposing a product and it not being recyclled...

The pledge pet hair remover I thought was gonna be a great product.I have a dog in my home so I thought finally something to remove pet hair.I was so wrong.Thsi thing is no good,cheap made looks lie somebody was in a room and thought up a stupid idea and someone bought it.You roll it kind of side to side and not all the way around so it can suck up bits of pet hair in the little plastic contrapment.This does not work.It may pick up a couple but thats it.Thsi si the cheapest ,crappiest thing I have ever used or bought and I cannot believ it was even marketed.I will just stick to my lint roller.It gets the job done and etleast it works.So I reep the benefits of the money I spent.Dont buy it just save your money and say No!

The Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair is awesome. I have one dog and three indoor-only cats. As you can imagine the pet hair can get overwhelming. I used the Fabric Sweeper on my couch and recliner and was thrilled to see all the pet hair that it picked up. I would recommend this product to anyone who has pets and fabric upholstery. It's a must have!

Finally a pet hair remover that works. After trying every possible method available to remove pet hair, I have found the Holy Grail!!! Easy to use, works on all surfaces, and really gets the hair on the first sweep. It is handy and easily storable, and self enclosed so that the pet hair is contained and not able to fly around the room. Throw out all your old devices, this is ths one for you.

I have tried many different products for picking up pet hair. This is my favorite ever! It works great on the couch, pillows, and in the car! It is everything it claims to be! The only downside of this product is that you cannot empty the hair from the sweeper, so when it fills up you have to toss it. Ohter than that I cannot say enough good things about the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair!

I bought this product just the other day and it's wonderful! It works really well and get all the dog hair. I have a chocolate lab who has been turning all the furniture brown. I even use it on the carpet. It doesn't work as well on the carpet, but it clumps it up so that I can just vacuum it up easier.

The only problem I had with it was that they expect you to throw it away once it is filled up. Ha. I'm surprised more people haven't realized it, but it's REALLY easy to just pop out one of the rollers, pull out the hair, and reuse it. I'm disgusted by Pledge for expecting us to be this wasteful AND to spend $5 a pop (or more, depending) to buy these every time they're filled.

I have been told that the rollers DO eventually wear out, but, I won't mind buying a new one by that time. Until then, I'm going to keep using this one. For the dog hair, it's wonderful!

(Oh, and if you're nervous about breaking it when you open it, there are plenty of youtube videos and websites that can help you...

As a busy mom with two great dogs and one large cat, I am always on the hunt for pet hair removal products that really work. I was recently introduced to a new product by Pledge, called the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair. This is a handheld pet hair removal product that does not require batteries or electricity. The best news? IT WORKS! The better news? IT'S CHEAP!

Here's how it works:

Simply move the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair back in forth in a side to side motion, and watch as the two rollers underneath grab, lift, and trap pet hair inside. That's all there is to it! This would be a great job for kids, as there is really no effort needed to make it work.

I have previously used the sticky roller sheets to pick up loose pet hair on clothing, furniture, and drapery. However, the sticky roller sheets have one flaw. Once pet hair adheres to them, they loose their adhesive power and you have to stop to remove an old sheet, throw it away, and then begin all over again....

As the owner of dogs...I am constantly using a lint roller and/or a vacuum to pick up after my pets. We constantly have hair on the furniture, carpets, inside our cars, etc. I saw these Pledge fabric sweepers at the store and decided to buy a package (2 come in a package) for $8 (on sale). I thought this was a hefty price tag for only two disposable fabric sweepers, but I thought that I would give them a try before I judged based on the price tag. My intuitions were right.
They work by the user rolling the device back and forth in small sweeps. One of the rollers picks up the hair and the other roller rubs against the first one to clean it off and push the hairs into the stoarge area. I first used one on our couch. It picked up some of the hair...then I used it on some of our throw pillow...it did a decent job getting the hairs off when I pulled the fabric very taught. I wasn't getting very much in the collection area, so I thought I would go ahead and try it on the floor...

I bought the new Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair because I had a coupon, so I figured I would try this new product. We have a dark-haired dog, so we constantly have dark-colored dog hair all over the house. We made a few sweeps across the sides of 2 recliners and the front of a loveseat. It did remove the dog hair, but when I tried to open it to discard the dog hair inside and couldn't get it open, that is when I discovered that the packaging says to discard it when it is full -- what a waste of money! Even with a $1.00 off coupon, I still paid over $5.00 to get rid of some dog hair one time. Won't buy again, and would not recommend that anyone else waste their money either.

At last! Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair has arrived in my local Walgreen's. For anyone with three shedding animals, the advance ads and coupons (which I lost while waiting) raised tremendous anticipation.

So did dmlichnerowicz's review in which she countered S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc.'s "... throw the sweeper away when... full" directions of with her own instructions on how to take the dual rollers out, clean them, then replace them for another go-round.

S. C. Johnson & Son has gone very public with its GREEN-ness, an impressive use of solar, for example, reducing Johnson's energy needs at its Racine, Wisconsin plant. I like the fact that the Pledge Sweeper carton is 85% post-cosumer content. But the plastic top of the Sweeper is made of 5% minimum post-industrial recycled content and -- if the Sweeper didn't work so well -- it would be easy to pass the whole thing off as a flimsy piece of plastic junk.

But the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair does work well. I welcome...

This product works just okay. It got most of the hair off my furniture, which is what its supposed to do, but i dont like that you just throw it away in the garbage when its full. Since using the fabric sweeper I've found a product I really like called Fur-Zoff. Its made of 90% recycled materials and lasts forever for about $10. Way more environmentally friendly! You can find it at FurZoff.net. Its really great. I hope this helps!
