I chose these bottles as a recommendation from a friend. I loved not having to clean bottles and just having to replace the drop in. The nipples were great and easy for transition and easy to clean. I also liked that you could push the air out. I would recommend these to anyone. You can also get store brand versons of the drop-ins at place like walmart and target to save alittle on that expense.
...

I used the platex nurser set with all 3 of my babies. I love that I can dispose of the drop in liners. I tried the plastic bottles and hated that after a while no matter how much you washed it, it will still smell awful. I hated having to scrub with the bottle brush and not be able to get every little thing in the inside of the bottle. You don't have to worry about anything but cleaning the tops and nipples. There are also a variety of nipples to choose from for different ages. There are silicone and latex nipples available as well. These bottles have been around for years. My mother used them with me when I was a baby. They are sold just about everywhere, and are not expensive. Great value for the money spent. I also think the nipples for these bottles are the closest to the nipple that you can find. I am a breast feeding momma, but my husband likes to feed the babies as well. So these bottles allow him to do so. I would definitely recommend this product to all moms.
...

Playtex Drop-Ins Premium Nurser Baby Bottles are great baby bottles. They are soooo easy to clean. You just drop the bottle liner in. You only have to clean the nipples and the rings, which is a piece of cake. I only clean the actual bottle part about twice per week (we have enough bottles to last a day and a half). I like to sterilize the nipples, even though my son is over 6 months and it isn't neccessary any more.

It is easy to push the air out, which helps to prevent gas (which is a must-have for a colicky baby). And, the air does not go back in as the baby is sucking. I like that there are different flows (slow, medium, and fast) so you can switch them out as your baby grows. Plus, the nipples are inexpensive. I have never had a problem with any nipples wearing out.

These worked out great for my breast-fed baby. He did not have any problem with nipple confusion and could go back and forth from breast to the bottle.

It was difficult to gauge how much is actually in the......

I gave birth to my son in February, and decided to breast feed. I enjoyed it in the beginning because of the bonding experience, but I knew eventually he would began to cut teeth. I then decided to introduce him to the bottle, and my husband picked up the playtex nurser system. It provided great information on how to make the transition smoother, and made my life a lot easier. Although my son, who will be 8 months on the 17th of this month has yet to show a tooth, he is used to the bottle, and playtex made the transition easier than I thought.
...

I obviously was not experienced when I had my son who is now 9 when I started using the Playtex bottles with drop in liners. I remember the fact that I like that I was able to by the starter set that comes with several bottles and several different color tops as well nipples and liners. That was convienient. As well my son liked using the rubber nipples instead of the silicone nipples which Playtex has a wide variety of nipples to choose from and they are labeled to letting you know what nipple is age appropriate. The drop in liners are more sanity instead of washing the bottles and sterilizing them. As well the liners are just over all easy to use. You can get the drop in or the fold over, both work the same. The drop in liners also help with a babies gasiness by eliminating the air, once the baby sucks the formula the bag decreases. I 8 years later had another child who is 2 years old I I still used the same Playtex bottles, drop in system. Easy to use, sanitary and resonable price......
...

I used the Playtex Nurser drop ins bottles for both my children and I absolutely love them. I found that neither of my children had any trouble transitioning from Breastfeeding to bottle feeding with these bottles. I was able leave Breastmilk in these bottles for them and they never had a problem latching on. My children never had a problem with colic or spitting up with these bottles and I especially liked the fact that the liners are disposable and you always have a sterile bottle. I found that the Target brand liners also work well for these bottles and I was able to save some money. The only problem that I ever had with these bottles was that if the liner was not positioned correctly, the milk could spill and create a problem. I also did not like the bag liners because they were difficult to put on the bottle and they break easily so I make sure to only buy the drop in liners.
...

When I got pregnant with my daughter, who is now 10 months, I was babysitting twins who used playtex drop ins. So I decided I would give them a try. I got them at my baby shower so I didn't have to even pay to use them. I like the wideness of the bottle, it makes it easier to put a scoop of formula in it without making a mess. When the liner needs to be changed you just throw it away. My daughter has never had any gas problems with these. I really like these, the liners last us forever becuase we rinsre them out and re use them one or two times, we don't throw them away after every feeding. The major downfall to the liners are when the bottle falls and they drop out of the bottle and make a huge mess! We really like them for when were in the car and need to make a new bottle,we can just throw a liner in and go! The liners are pretty cheap for how much you get, we used a bow of the small ones up until about 5 months! Over all a good product, you just have to be sure to get the liner in...
...

mmtdck09 says "Do not use Playtex 8ounce Drop ins/Nursers, They Leak!" about Playtex Drop-Ins Premium Nurser Baby Bottle

I would have to rate this item as poor, the bottles are exspensive and so are the liners, you spend more on liners than u would on a months worth of formula, and the nipples leak terribly, all over the Baby's clothes and anywhere else when not in the upright position, and we moms know that Thats near impossible! The nipples are the main problem for leakage, i have no idea why they just leak everywhere! The liners cost about 6.00 for a pack of 50, and for a baby around 3-4 months old, they are all gone in about 4-5 days, and the bottles are about 5.00 a piece too, so this is about what you would spend if your baby ate 8 feedings a day. Example: 48.00 for the liners for a months worth, plus about 30.00 for 6 of the bottles, Thats 78.00! You could buy 6 12.5 ounce cans of powdered formula for that! Or 18-20 cans of liquid formula!I would recommend using the NUK bottles, they o not leak, no liners, good value for the money, No leaks!, nipple are shaped similarly to mommy's nipple so they're...
...

If you are planning on supplementing with formula and breast milk or even if you just want a good trusted bottle by moms everywhere trust Playtex. The nurser system is designed to help your baby eat well when adjusting from breast to bottle, it is less confusing to a baby because of the way the designed the nipple. Also with liners you can push all the air out of the bottle so you don't have to worrie as much that your baby is getting air in their belly. As you may know if the baby were to get air in their tummys they can get calic which is a gassy belly. And makes for a very cranky baby and sleepless nights. Another nice thing about a bottle liner is that you don't have to wash the whole bottle before every use just the nipple, which actually is a very easy clean up. Another nice feature is when the baby is learning to hold there own bottle they can do this very easily with this bottle it lightweigh. Nipples come in slow flow and fast flow.
...

I starting using playtex bottles when my first child was born and continued to use them for my second and third child. I found them to be very convenient and the cleanup was amazing. It allowed less air to get into the bottle and even more important, not allow air into my babies' stomach. I used the bottles with the disposable bags and it really came in handy when i was up during the night feedings. When we went on outings, it became clear to me that i would never use any other bottles and would highly recommend them to other parents expecting.
...

My baby was born 2 months earlier so he had several stomach issues along with really bad acid reflux. Once I started giving him a bottle it got worse because he would swallow so much air while he drank that he would get gas and spit up a lot more. We tried almost every bottle out there and the Playtex Nurser bottle with drop-in liners was the only one that allowed him to drink without getting any air. We couldn't believe the difference it made! He was a happier baby and the rest of the family was happier as well. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone even if your baby doesn't have any problems. And they are so easy to clean because you just throw the liner away!
...

Playtex Drop-Ins Premium Baby Bottles great bottles .. im a new grandmother after receiving samples of these i convinced my daughter of trying these.. love the nipple design.. and used these when my daughter was a baby... i never cared much for the regular shaped nipple that the hospitals always seem to start the babies on.. i think these are much more natural .. the easy clean bottles are great also not to mention the disposible bags.. and keeping air from getting inside the little bellys.. the nipples now adays look to be made of a strunger material then the ones that were used 20 years ago but its always a good idea after a little bit of use to pull on them and check and watch for flaring of the nipples when you see this please replace them as the round ends can sometimes come off with over use.. all in all i would say this is your best bet for bottles especially with babys that have a little bit of a hard time getting ahold of a nipple or are smaller in size also a company that has...
...

When my first grandchild was born I noticed that my daughter had purchased Avent bottles. My daughter said that they were supposed to reduce colic and excess gas in babies. When my granddaughter was two weeks old, she was always gassy and spitting up.

I had used Playtex nursers when my children were babies and I remembered how the liners collapsed as the baby drank because there was no air. I went out and bought an 8 ounce Playtex Nurser in a single container to try with her. The bottle came with a nipple, a cap, as well as some liners so I did not have to purchase anything separately just to see if this was a better option for my granddaughter.

We noticed the difference in my granddaughter after the first feeding. One week later the baby was practically gas free and no more spitting up. My daughter said she liked being able to throw away the liner and knew that the baby was not going to get any soapy residue with her formula. No more bottle brushes needed.
