dollysgirl1 says "I used to be a Phillips Senseo pod person until the recall " about Philips Senseo

Check my other reviews...I have a glowing review of this product in its original condition. I got many a great cup of coffee from my Phillips Senseo and told many people about it. However, when my model got recalled and I received the replacement I was most dissappointed. It was nothing like the machine I returned to them for the recall and I have gotten no satisfaction since reporting this to the company. The piece of equipment they sent me was not the same capacity nor did it have the same sturdy feel of mine.Though they told me to keep the accessories to my old machine , there was no need to keep them as they don't fit on the replacement model. I fear it won't last very long at all and we are not heavy coffee drinkers. That is, the machine is usually used for only a cup of coffee for each of us with breakfast most mornings.
...

gingersnap6000 says "works great" about Philips Senseo

The Senseo coffee maker delivers what it promises. The coffee is fresh and tastes as good as buying an expensive cup of 5 dollar coffee from any of the local coffee shops. The water is steamed with high pressure through the coffee pod to deliver a nice foam on the top of your cup like a latte. I am a coffee shop junke and this is a great alternitive to that right in the comfort of my own home without having to get dressed and in the car to get my fix. The one thing I think they could improve upon is the selection on decaf coffee flavors that they offer. I can only find one type of decaf for the senseo right now, and since I only drink decaf that is limiting. If I want a flavored coffee I have to brew it in my coffee pot, which goes stale tasting if it sits more than an hour . The single serve senseo is fresh with every cup and tastes great. Another perk of it is that anytime of day I can make a single cup with no waste of grounds like in a full pot that...
...

lexar1 says "a no-hassle good cup of coffee everytime!" about Philips Senseo

I have the Black Basic model and I love it. All I have to do is fill the water and its ready to make a verg good cup of coffee in under a minute. It can be set to make one cup or two cups at a time.

The senseo coffee pods are easy to find, available at most grocery stores. And there are many flavours available. Th pods are about $3-$4 dollars a bag. They can be bought in bulk at amazon or anywhere similar for a cheaper price. The appearance of the machine is what initially drew me to it. It looks so sleek on my kitchen counter. But once I started using it, I saw how handy it way. Perfect for enntertaining guests. It makes making that after-dinner coffee for guests oh so much easier.

Highly recommended!

the senseo coffe machine is great. One fresh cup at a time. I even bought the pod maker and save money on the pods that go in it. I also have the resusable pods but sometimes they take to long. the coffe is fresh and hot each and every time, and you dont have to worry about leaving it on.
...
