I bought the phil and ted's double stroller when my son was about 9 months old. I wasn't then and still aren't expecting our second but knew in the realitively near future we wanted a second baby. Our stand by graco was getting a little beat-up and needed replaced, I was looking for durability and versatility. The price was a litlte off-putting but I snagged one off Craigslist with accessories for a more reasonable price. I take this stroller everywhere now. My son loves riding in it and he has a great smooth roll that is easy to push on any surface. It can easily handle bumos and uneven terrain and has a great "recline" option for when my son falls asleep. My one con is that the sun shade is very little so you really need to remeber to cover the kiddes up or load on the sun block. I do have the rain gear and LOVE it, we've taken it out on overcast days and my boy gets his ride, view and stays toasty warm and dry. Love this stroller.
...

This is one of the best strollers out there. It can be a single stroller or a double stroller, you get to pick. My daughter really likes her stroller. The back seat is very easy to move and this stroller is very easy to push. It easily goes over cracks. I got the color lime green and it stands out in the crowd and is very easy to find. My daughter is not able to get out of the buckle. This stroller is easy to fold up and easily fits into my small car. I wish I would have gotten this stroller first so then I would not have to buy another stroller. This is the best stroller you can invest in. I just really love the versitilty that this stroller offers. You can find good deals on this stroller on various websites you just got to search around. You will not regret buying this stroller.
...

ojaicindy says "My kids love sitting in the back!" about Phil and Ted's Sport Double Strollers

I bought the Phil and Ted's E3 Sport after doing a lot of research. I chose it because the size was easier to manuver around stores and other crowded places and could use it as a jogger. At first I thought that once my baby got older she would not want to be stuck in the back seat, but now she is 18 months and she fights with my three year old because they both want to sit in the back. It is great because they can't really mess with each other like they could sitting side by side. I also like the fact that now that my 3 year old is in preschool I can take off the backseat and it is a single stroller.

One of the downsides is that it is a heavy stroller. You have to be pretty strong to take it in and out of the car. It would be nearly impossible for either of my parents. Also when the backseat is in my husband kicks it because the handle doesn't come out far enough. This may be because we got the sport and it is a little smaller. The foot brake is also really stiff and I have to bend down...
...

After the birth of our third daughter we took a look outside in our garage at the myriad of strollers, a single, a double, a single jogger, a double jogger, and an umbrella stroller. We couldn't bear to part with any of the strollers because they all served such different functions but keeping so many strollers for our family size was a bit ridiculous. That is when we decided to get a Phil and Teds. We were able to sell all our strollers on craigslist and purchase the one stroller for only $50 (after selling the others). It is hands down the best baby purchase we have ever made. We are now expecting another little one and are excited to have this stroller. Our favorite feature is that it only takes up the space of a single stroller but functions as a double.

All our children are 1.5yrs apart and we need the ability to have them riding when they get tired, but the older kids often want to walk for part of the time. This stroller enables us to allow them to walk without feeling like we have...
...

I purchased the Phil & Ted's Sport Double Stroller in orange after having a couple of double strollers from other brands that were quite frustrating. The double strollers that are the tandem style with one in front and one in back are not only impossible to maneuver, but they also take so much of your trunk. Then the side by side double strollers barely fit through door ways and aisles. I saw the Phil & Ted's stroller and thought that it looked like a neat concept. I had a different way of putting the second seat on the stroller, and it had the front wheel that swiveled around for added maneuverability. I bought the Phil & Ted's Sport Double Stroller on Ebay for $400 which is a lot more than I had ever spent on any baby item. When I got the stroller in the mail it was a bear to put together, but once it was all put together and I used it for the first time I was so excited because it was so easy to use. I have had the Phil & Ted's Sport Double Stroller for almost two years...
...

I bought the Phil and Ted sport after much research. I was very excited about the great design and thought that the short comming of limited storage would be more than offset by the great design. I already had a Chariot double for use at home for frequent long walks and was looking for something that I could use for my almost 3 year old and newborn out and about with the car.

From day 1, this stroller has failed to perform as I expected it too. I was use to my Mountain Buggy Urban, which pushes like a dream, with one hand, super easy. The phil and ted stroller, even without the doubles seat, pales in comparison, it is very hard to push with one hand, a huge problem when you need to hold a toddlers hand in the parking lot of store, push a toddler while calming an infant, or just want to finish your drink. On that basis alone, I can't recommend it, but additionally, I have had numerous problems with the tires and tubs, resulting in frequent flats. I am currently waiting on yet...
...

As a mother of four (which include a 2 year old and a newborn), this is by far the best heavy duty stroller I've ever owned. The design is amazing. I first saw a Phil and Ted's double stroller at a children's museum and absolutely had to find out the brand, it is by far the most compact double stroller on the market. The look is sleek and so is the function, you don't feel like you need a "wide load" sign attached to it while you're running it down the sidewalk or between the aisles of a grocery store.

The manueverability is excellent, you can turn it easily with one hand if needed, which it's almost alway needed! The brakes are easy to engage and are solid, the wheels are large and can handle bumpy terrain, I especially like the option of a stationary or rotating front wheel. The frame is strong and can handle my tired six year old as easily as it can handle my two year old or newborn.

It is the Swiss Army knife of strollers. The top seat with the adapter bar can handle......

Phil and Ted's Double Stroller rocks and is a definate upgrade over the Bugaboo! It maneuvers well in tight spaces. The wheels are large and make it easy to use in urban settings. The stacked seating configuration is polite and respectful to other people compared to the side-by-side configuration. It folds easily and fits into a trunk of a compact sedan. The only problem I had is that the front wheel kept locking in place. I took it back to the retailer who quickly fixed it....

I bought this stroller not long after I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I got a lot of use actually using it as a double before he was even born as when I went out with friends we would just take my stoller. I have the e3 version too and before the recall for this it did break my finger one time collapsing it not long after I got it. After that I don't think I ever collapsed it again, lol, I left it up and just put it in the back of my minivan. My favorite use it for the mall as I am a shopaholic and it fits perfectly through all of the narrow shopping racks. It also steers beautifully, even with one hand and a baby on the hip! Again, the last stroller you will ever need. I did buy a combi side by side double one time but promptly returned it as it did not fit through any aisles in the mall!...

Phil and Ted's Sport Double Stroller is easy to use, light weight, and durable. Best of all, with a simple damp cloth, this stroller is easily cleaned without the frustration of un-snapping and prying at fabric to no end! I loove it, as well as my son, who says his "spaceship" stroller is awesome. Not only is blue his favorite color but because it's so compactable, I can easily take it anywhere! And trust me, I do!...

I would recommend that they revise this design such that it is less of a bunk bed and more freedom. Not very kid friendly!!...
