This product has been recalled for burners disintegrating causing fires.

The burners, their holders, and the diffusers completely rust away causing uncontrolled gas and flames. Even before this, the heat of the grill is very uneven. The grill grates are rusted too.

Stay away from this Chinese crap. Lowe's doesn't even sell the parts. The company doesn't have a website.

I've read alot of these reviews. Believe me when I say, "This grill looks good but won't last (2) seasons." I initially was excited with our purchase of this Perfect Flame SLG2007D grill from Lowe's. On the outside, it is stylish. On the inside, it has lots of cooking area. And, on display; it appears competitively priced. Unfortunately, during our second season of use, we discovered that the large flame "hot spots" we notice from underneath the burner guards were the result of cracks and splits on all but one the (5) burner tubes. If you search the internet for other Perfect Flame products, you will soon discover that another of their grills has been recalled by the Federal Government due to "risk of fire and burn injuries to consumers". (See CPSC website also ConsumerReports.org) I have contacted Lowe's 1-800 complaint number. However, they referred me to manufacturer Lucas Innovations. Based upon other user reviews, I'm expecting NOT much support from either Lowe's,...

REgarding the Perfect Flame Grill, model 241317: I take good care of my toys. There is no reason for these issues other than poor quality. All four burners on our Perfect Flame Grill split right down the sides due to corrosion. The entire inside of this 2 yr old grill is corroded and falling apart. Lowes sent me replacement burners for free but the attaching hardware inside the grill is so corroded that I will have to drill out the old screws just to get the bad burners out. Lowes said they would send attaching hardware with the burners but they did not. Additionally, the tack welds on the bracket that holds the flame tents in place are all coming loose. It is junk... a waste of $418.95. Lowes should be ashamed of selling such garbage.

The Perfect Flame Grill is a Perfect WASTE OF MONEY For the price....you'd be better off getting something else! After only 1 1/2 seasons of use, our burner tubes corroded terribly, 2 of the 4 ended up with huge sections that rusted out of it. And we keep ours under roof! I can't imagine what the condition would have been if we had it on an exposed deck. I checked on the parts and they are outrageous. After replacing what pre-maturely rotted, I would spend less on a new grill. Of course, I'm sure that is what the manufacturer would want. However my money will NEVER go toward a Perfect Flame grill again! Run,.....don't walk, away from this grill!

I have the SGL2006C. It is rusted out after only three years. During that time it was protected from the elements. However, the burners rotted out after only 1.5 years of use. Good looking grill but poor quality on the burners. You can not get spare parts anywhere other than from Perfect Flame. Forget about the warranty. Useless!!! This was a gift to me and now I need a new grill. Lowe's should drop this brand immediately! They should be ashamed.

I received the grill as a Father's Day gift. Evidently my family hates me.

The Perfect Flame Model SLG2007D Grill's burners rusted/burnt out in about a year. I now struggle cooking on it because two of the burners have a huge flames shooting out of the first half of the burners. Besides the burners, the grill appears okay, but the burners are the main performance part of a grill. So what do you do?

Another bad thing about this grill is that it came from Lowe's. Lowe's does not carry replacement burners. I have to order online and they are too expensive. I have had better luck with cheaper grills.

Do not buy this grill or any grill made by this manufacturer.

I bought the Perfect Flame SLG2006C grill in 2006. A great grill for 2 years, although the finish on side of the cover started bubbling after 1 year. This year all the burners are rusting out. I doubt it will make it through the rest of the season. Perfect Flame will not honor the warranty. This is Chinese junk. Do not buy.

     I purchased our "Perfect Flame" model SLG2007A from Lowes. It looked like a bargain at around $200. It looked nice, cooked well, and was easy to use.

     BUT, at the end of the first year, we started to get hot spots with large flame, turned out the center burner rusted through. The other two burners followed in a few months.

     We now have a large, unusable deck ornament. 1 1/2 years for a $200 grill means this grill is a terrible value. If you want a grill you can use and then throw away, this is the one for you.

     If you want a long-term relationship with your grill, buy a different brand, not a "Perfect Flame", which was for us a "perfect disapointment"....

This grill was purchased because it had everything my husband wanted. Within 8 months, all 5 of the "stainless steel" burners rusted through. The so called "warranty" was null because we did not keep the receipt. The burners cost $30 each to replace. For $150 I can have a new grill with a warranty that sticks! This grill has sit on my porch for 6 months and has not been used. Not a wise buy. Model # SLG2006C.

I own this grill for 1 year and all the burners burnt out. They developed a crack along the gas holes on all the burners then the far end of the burners developed a cross crack where flames were shooting out. When I tried to brush it off to see better, they crumbled from heat fatigue. This is a very inferior material used to make the burners. Did the chinese manufacturers switch the material? The burners should last 10 years. As of this writing, I am waiting for replacement burners (about 4 weeks now). I have had cheaper grills that the burners lasted much longer....

Great big ol grill. Works fine except for 1 thing, the center 3 burners all rusted out within 2 summers. This is what you get with imported crap from China. I don't mind too much yet since I got the grill for $150 so if I get a few more summers out of it, I can chuck it and get a better one. My old cast aluminum Sears grill lasted over 15 years.

We'll see how long it takes to get replacement burners from this company. If you buy them from a 3rd party grill company they go for $29-39 each.

This is great BBQ Grill. We just bought it a while ago and have used its several /many times. We love it. It has a ton of room to cook just about anything. If you get a chance to try it please do! I love how it has a bruner on the side to cook other things, like corn. My son loved hot nice it looks. I would recommend this for friends. Have got a ton of compliments on this grill. If anything happen to it i would buy another one, no questions asked ...

Very Nice Grill! Didnt take to long to set up and has a huge cooking space on it! Would recommend to anyone looking for a new grill! We have grilled small steaks, large steaks....just about everything and this grill cooks them all very quickly and evenly. Very affordable for the size of grill we were looking for and looks great on our deck....
