i bought one of this heaters..and granted for a week it worked nice..then one night i come into the living room cause i heard a pop.and the outlet was on fire,the plug was on fire,and the house filled up with smoke and the fire cot in the wall......please be careful with this..kim

Bought mine from Home Depot last winter, so I have a full season of good experience with it. I still have a working ceramic heater (with a blower) that I bought a year earlier, but I don't use it any more. I found that the ceramic heater caused the temperature to yo yo; and while not noisy it was not silent (like this one) either.

I work from my home in SW Ohio and my office is in a remote corner of the house that has three outside walls. I found that this heater will raise the temp from the low to mid 60's that the room drops down to over night (I turn it off when I leave the room) to the mid 70's in a little over an hour.

I use only the low wattage setting and I run several PC's and a laser printer on the same circuit, and I've never had the breaker pop.

It's never too hot to touch, and in that first hour I usually pull it close and warm my fingers.

I've seen (more expensive) ones that have built in 24 hour timers. But heavy duty timers are available for less than the...

The radiator heaters get really hot and you need to make sure you get one in good condition because if not you may have problem's with the plastic melting if used frequently.

I am not a handy person at all so I guess I am not the best to rate this item although I do have this heater and I thought I would love it I got it took it out of the box to set it up and low and I was shocked I frist of all could not get it ot sit up correcrly on my hardwood floor then I finally did get it to sit (not right) I pluged it in and it holds so much power it threw my breaker box in my home. I have to constantly go and reset the breaker box each time i try to use the heater then It never did put off any heat for me I never felt any heat from the thing I did try on several occassions all to no avail thus this was a total waste of my time and effort I just finally rolled up the cord and put it away may be i will try to mess with it next winter if not I will just give it away or something.

The Pelonis WM-HO202C Oil Filled Radiator Heater is one of the best investments I have made. I have saved so much on my gas heat using this heater. My electric bill is still relatively low and I use this all the time.

It is easy to store, move and doesn't take up much space at all. I feel totally safe using this heater. It takes the chill out of the air and saves me money! What more can you ask for?

I bought one of these last winter, when I lived in Montana. Both my husband & I smoke, but do not smoke inside our home. We bought this heater to use in our 2 car unheated garage, so we had a place to smoke. Well if you know anything about Montana winters, it gets quite cold! This heater did a wonderful job at keeping our garage warm. I would recommend this heater to anyone! I would also buy a new one, if I ever am in need! It does take some time to heat the room, when you first turn it on. But once it's warm, it stays that way!

I use my Pelonis heater out in my 3 seasons room and it save me from having to light up the gas logs. I especiall like the fact that I don't have to worry about fuems. However, never use it when my little toddler grand child is around because it gets hot and he could hurt himself. Other than that My Pelonis is great and can easly be moved room to room if needed.
