awqrn says "Unexpected bonus" about Peg Perego Pliko P3

We bought our Pliko P3 back in 2004 with our first son. It was a rather expensive stroller, but it was light weight and fit nicely in the back of our coupe. Now in 2009, it is standing the test of time and our 5 year old now stands on the rear footboard while our two year old lounges comfortably in the stroller. We didn't realize we had this feature until we saw another Pliko P3 owner with two kids in tow doing the same thing....that was the unexpected bonus. We've done Disneyland, SeaWorld, LegoLand and more with no issues! Our friends even ask us to borrow it for their trips.

I also loved the basket. Although you do have to access from the side, we just placed our diaper bag parallel to the opening and retrieved what we needed. Majority of the time we leave our diaper bag in the stroller for an entire outing.
...

We love our pliko. It is a very comfy stroller and works great as a travel system. Only complaint is that is it is a little big even when folded -- it is a very snug fit in my trunk. Highly recommend!!
...

love the peg perego pliko p3! safe and very sturdy for baby. can be cumbersome in tight settings such as disney world. we have the peg perego auria for those situations. pliko p3 is heavy, but soli. under storage is small especially when carseat is snapped in place.
...

GREAT STROLLER! I first purchased a combo car seat/stroller package from eddie bower - extremely bulky & heavy - then went and purchased this stroller! It is FANTASTIC!

It is light weight - folds down extremely compact - and I don't loose my favorite features like the basket and canopy that you ususally loose with a light weight stroller!

Even better because it comes with an attachment that you can use any carseat in it now as a travel system too!

...

This stroller was a pure disapointment! The basket underneath hold nearly NOTHING and the cup holder is a piece of junk! I was also displeased that this stroller doesn't come with a tray for your child with a place to hold a drink and toys! What good does a plain thin bar do?! NOT WORTH THE $!...

Stroller is very light and easy to wheel around, is very manueverable and durable and lasted through many trips and lots of abuse over rough surfaces (curbs, airports, etc.). Can sometimes be hard to fold up because the mechanism catches/snags sometimes so this can be problematic and requires two people to help collapse. Under basket is not very useful - not only is it small and shallow, things fall out and it's not easy to access....

clouds11 says "2 years later and still loving our P3" about Peg Perego Pliko P3

We bought our P3 in fall of 05 and got a deal because the 05 versions were on sale with the 06 versions coming out (paid $289). I never even tried to use the cup holder - heard it was bad. We love that you can extend the handles for taller people - I am 5 ft 10 in and so is my husband. We love the way it fold/stands and love the recline and the the sun shade - great coverage!

The 5 pt harness isn't supposed to stay in the little strap - you unhook it so the child can move about and see. We started using this stroller when my child was 4 months old so I can't say anything about the carseat issue - what works onr not. And we live in NYC and once she got bigger the stroller isn't great for hauling up/down stairs to the subway - too heavy and we use the basket a lot for NYC shopping - works fine for us! also use the handles for bags!

Anyway its been 2 years and we love this stroller! We don't use it every day anymore but are expecting #2 next summer and I am sure we will be using it more......

I am a stroller junkie and just not that impressed with our P3.
We bought ours new for our son in 2006. It has been used for one child for almost 18 months and I am just not $300 impressed. I love the fold but I think the stroller feels cheap and rickety. One of the front wheels doesn't hit the floor like the others and the cup holder didn't last 6 months.
It looks nice and has great steering but all in all I wouldn't reccomend this overpriced stroller....

This stoller is well built and sturdy. It can be used for newborns and then anywhere from 3 to 4 yrs old. It is sturdy and is great for long walks in the park. The colors are nice and I think the designs are really nice also. The basket under the stroller can hold lots of stuff. Babies seem to enjoy it and sleep great for hours on end....

We didn't want to purchase a double stroller because our kids don't like strollers much beyond the age of 2.5 yrs of age. We bought this stroller specifically because of the toddler step in the back.
Our son loves to ride on the toddler step. Our daughter is secured within the stroller with the 5 point harness (although it has to be clipped into the seat).
The cup holder is cheap, only one given, and we've never been able to secure it onto the stroller.
The stroller has a nice smooth ride to it, not great on unlevel sidewalks. It is made more for smooth pavement, malls etc, not grass or unlevel areas.
Overall, we love this stroller.
...

I love, love, love the Peg Perego Pliko P3! I purchased this when my 3rd child was born, and it has been a life saver. My younger 2 children are 20 months apart, and it was a great alternative to the side-by-side double stroller on the days when it was just me and the baby. My middle child loves the step on the back of the stroller, and with the stroller light but very durable, we were able to navigate the mall and Disney and all sorts of other places quite easily. When my middle child became more independent, the stroller was still a great fit for my youngest, and though he hates to be confined, he didn't seem to mind his P3 at all.

The stroller has a VERY easy one hand fold, and it unfolds just as quick. The stroller comes with a car seat adapter for the Peg Perego infant carrier, which is also worth the money. Very durable and will accommodate an older baby than the Graco or Evenflo.

Get this stroller!! Try it out and see for yourself!
...

if it was not given to me I would not have purchased! @ $329 I empect more. I like the size but not crazy about how you have to fold it. the storage basket is almost useless becasue you have to access it from the front or sides and it tiny!

very lightweight though so when lifting into the back or a trunk no problem!

I also don't like the way the 5 point harness just slips into a little tab
...
