Pedigree Small Bites is great for smaller size dogs, it is small and easy for them to chew. Of course it helps for your dog to like it also. And mine does. It has different shapes in there also, and some shapes he likes more than others. So what ever your dog likes he will let you know by picking out the ones he likes best first. It is made from quality ingredients so know that it is made from Love. I know someone who works for Pedigree and he has told me stories of the care and choice of the things that are put into the food. And know that it is even tested by humans for taste. But you decide try some.
...

Pedigree (small bites) is the stuff, man. I have tried every single solitary dog food on the market, and my expert dog food critics prefer the yellow bag EVERY time! I have been a mid-size dog adopter for many years now, and we currently have three little fur coats on legs who feel like they won the doggy lottery. They run the house and get anything they want. This is what they want. Now if it's meat table scraps, ok.. the scraps win.. but in every other contest.. it's no contest! :) ...

My dogs eat Pedigree and they are all very healty; for many years, this is the only dry food I have used, and the last 4 dogs that passed on were all in the 14 year age range; that included 2 large breed dogs, a mix breed medium one, and one small one. I wouldnt feed my dogs anything else....

I fed my dog Pedigree for a few years. Then I noticed he was eating the feces of other dogs. He was not allowed to lick me for the longest time!

When I took him to the vet I was educated about dog food. Pedigree, and many other fairly inexpensive dog foods, contains mostly corn, wheat and other non- meats. My dog was not getting the proper nutrients from Pedigree.

Now I look at the ingredients of all dog food. If it doesnt have chicken or beef- or some other animal as its first and main ingredient- I dont feed it to him. Now my dog gets his nutrition from his food and doesnt try to get it by eating feces.

As a result, he is now welcomed to lick me in my face whenever he wants!
...

I tried several other types of dog food for my Lab and he would try to eat cat food first. So I tried the pedigree samm and crunchy bite and he loves it. It has several different flavors and shapes. It may be a bit more than the discount brands but my dog loves it so it is worth the dollar more....

This food is quite poor and I blame the ads for misleading the public. If you ran out of dog food, woudl you give your dog a can of corn or some chicken or something? Ofcourse you wouldnt open a can of corn! So why are you feeding corn in a dried form? Check out the ingredients.....the bag is mostly corn, fillers, some have dyes, animal byproducts, animal digest (which you dont want to KNOW what that is...look it up on wikipedia), euthanizaed animals, roadkill, (dont believe me go check! it is allowed!). Ethoxyquin is a known carcinocen, and was made as a rubber stabilizer, but its in lots of dog foods. It has like no meat. I didnt know you wanted your dogs to be vegetarians and survive on corn!!!! And brewers yeast, rice hulls--are the left over floor sweepings of food (like rice) that is left over when they make food for human consumptions, it is the garbage, the trash, and they put it in for filler.

check out other foods, and compare ingredients, you will be shocked! I was!......

Pedigree makes an excellent product. They do a fantastic job at keeping the prices down.

I began feeding Pedigree as I started to accumulate more dogs, through rescues. I loved the food I had been feeding, but with more dogs being added to the pack, I had to find a way to cut costs; and Pedigree fit the bill there.

Pedigree is not the most exensive dog food, but they are not the cheapest either. I cannot honestly say that it is the BEST or the WORST dog food, as that label depends on the individual dog owner. It all depends on your own likes, dislikes, what you are trying to accomplish by what you feed, and your finances.

Some of those dog foods that cost over $40 a bag are not necessarily better, just because they cost more. I will, however, caution owners to make every effort to steer away from those really cheap, generic brands that not many folks have not heard of. Those usually contain more fillers and not much else of any nutritional value. Do not make the mistake of...
...

I've tried different dog foods for small dogs, so many I've lost count. This one is simply the best, my little dog loves it so much. It's a lot cheaper than some other brands as well and the bag will last me about a month for my one small dog, so it's very cost effective. I've stuck with this brand now for her and have ended my search for what she likes to eat and what goes best for my buck.

My mother-in-law babysat our dog when me and my husband went on vacation. We left some of the food with her. She has the same small breed dog that we have and her dog was trying to eat up the food we left with her and ignored her other food completely. So she's now getting this food as well for her dog.
...
