jeffrieannhall says "Great value!" about Paula's Choice Skin Care

I have used some of Paula's Choice products. I don't love them all. But who loves every product in any given line?

The AHA and BHA products for exfoliation and radience are excellent and contain a high enough concentraiton of the active ingredient to be effective without irritation.

I also like the mositurizers for dry skin. Very effective at keeping the moisture level up and dry skin feeling comfortable all day.

The Moisture Boost Hydrating Toner is great for winter skin to help combat the extra level of dryness some of us experience in colder climates. This product also contains actives, antioxidants to combat free radicals and cell communicating ingredients to boost collagen production.

I have not been terribly impressed with any of the make-up offered. Lip gloss has no staying power and even though samples of foundation are offered at a small cost, I have yet to find a match.

Paula's reviews of other products can sometimes be harsh, and I have found in the case of one product line...
...

anneonymous says "Everything your skin needs AND nothing it doesn't" about Paula's Choice Skin Care

I first came across the Paula's Choice brand when researching product reviews of other moisturizers and cosmetics. Paula Begoun is the world renowned "Cosmetics Cop," an expert writer about beauty products and ingredients. It may seem a little incongruous to speak about the legitimacy of cosmetics claims and have a line of your own,bu t you won't find any hype or unrealistic promises from Paula's Choice. What you will get are the best ingredients chosen from scientific research(not surveys or 'market research') and nothing 'extra' to harm or irritate your skin.

If you listen to Paula, much of what we believe about cosmetics is influenced by how we feel about them. Clever advertising, perfumes, and gimmicky ingredients like those that cool or warm the skin may make us think they're worth more or work better. In reality, all they do is allow the manufacturer to charge us more and they may even be irritating our skin or causing breakouts.

Paula's Choice has responded quickly whenever...
...

TheNoseKnows says "Paula's Choice is the best Skin Care line for sensitive skin." about Paula's Choice Skin Care

I constantly struggled with different types of acne. I spent lots of money on Dermatologist, antibiotics, skin care of every kind (including sensitive skin products) but when I discovered Paula's Choice, my skin stopped breaking out & cleared up on it's own without any medication. The only time I break out now is when I don't follow my nightly routine.

My current routine includes: Paula's choice one step face cleanser (morning & night), Paula's Choice final touch toner, Paula's Choice 2% bha liquid. I also use Paula's Choice gentle touch makeup remover for my eyes & Paula's Choice extra strength blemish fighting solution if I see a blemish starting.

Paula Choice does not use harsh chemicals & they have plenty of help and support on the website.

I am so happy I found her. I tell all my family & friends!

CHTruthSerum says "Still had dry skin!" about Paula's Choice Skin Care

I was looking for a new skin care product. My skin gets dry during the winter in one or two areas. I've tried Noevir (excellent, however, TOO expensive) and Arbonne (worked great, but thought expensive too). I read the review on Paula's Choice Skin Care and thought the prices were reasonable. I decided to try the trial sizes before I jumped in and purchased the entire set. I ordered 2 trail sizes for dry skin. For me, my skin started getting dry in more than the regular areas and I started to break out on my forehead area between my eyebrows. Paula's Choice Skin Care may work well for others, but, I'm still on the look out for a reasonable priced skin care line that works for my skin.
...

MandySue57 says "This is the only thing that really works for my skin." about Paula's Choice Skin Care

I have rosacea, a condition that can mimic acne in some ways, and is painful and ugly at best and self esteem destroying at worst. My skin is also oily and extremely sensitive, two things that usually do not go together. I am 30 years old, and have struggled with those issues since I was 10.

The only thing that has ever worked to clear my rosacea symptoms, all my other breakouts, and give me glowing, pretty skin, is Paula's Choice (including prescription medication). I use the blemish prone set, all of it, and add the antioxidant serum. I only use the benzoyl peroxide product every other evening, and on the alternate ones I use a dab of baking soda as a physical exfoliant in my cleanser. The one product I have to rave on and on about is the 2% Beta Hydroxy Liquid. This is what can actually get into pores, and over time clean them out, make them smaller, and reveal polished, lovely skin. I repeat, this is the only product I have ever tried, at any level of price, and I have......

wolfdance says "The best products & best, trusted source for skin & beauty info" about Paula's Choice Skin Care

Paula Begoun is absolutely FANTASTIC! I can't say enough about her, and what she does for people, and their skin, and their hair! Whatever I say here can't do her justice! Everyone should read her books, and check out her website - www.cosmeticscop.com, and learn from her. She gives great, honest, trustworthy, extremely helpful reviews on pretty much all the beauty, and skin care, and hair care products that are out there - and there are so many, it's mind-boggling! However, there are only a handful of companies out there, and most of them own several lines of cosmetics. And, they're always changing their products, making them "better". If they were so great to begin with, why do they have to be improved, and why do they have to have so many items, that are supposedly different, but are very often the same? Because of the almighty dollar, that's all! And, it's all done through marketing, not truly great products that do what they say, just marketing hype! Or, really, it's marketing lies!...
...
