I picked up Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum after a recent cut and color at my local salon, and I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first. I've tried a lot of hair products that supposedly add shine and smooth hair, and most of them have fallen flat on those claims.

Not so with this product! While it can make your hair really greasy if you use too much, just take care to pump a pea sized amount of product into your hands and work it through the entire length of your hair, from roots to tip. I'm pretty low-maintenance when it comes to my hair so I normally apply the product and let my hair air dry for a glossy, natural look. However, you can use this product before you blow dry as well for smooth, sleek hair that shines like you wouldn't believe! I was first introduced to Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum while having my hair styled, a few years ago. At first the wonderful smell of apples delighted my senses, then I was able see just what it had done to my normally frizzed out hair. Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum is a great product from a great company. The Super Skinny Serum leaves my hair smooth and shiny- unlike other serums that leave my hair greasy and weighted down. I also find that my hair dries faster and I don't need hair spray to hold the style after using Super Skinny. It smells great, too. And it doubles as a moisturizer for my hands! I just can't say enough good things about this stuff and I have even better things to say about the company! I absolutely love Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Shampoo!! I have very thick hair and it has a special ingredient in it that cuts my drying time down in the morning. It also makes my thick coarse hair feel so much softer and smoother. I cannot do without. When I ran out and had to go back to my old shampoo before I could get to the store to get more I could not believe the difference in my hair. I could not control it (or stand it) with the old shampoo. The difference is truly amazing. I have told everyone in my family to go get this because we all have very thick and coarse hair and I know they will not be able to live without it once they use it. There is also a conditioner that works equally as well. And they both have a great scent to them. I get compliments on my hair all the time about the fresh smell. I know it sounds funny but it is true!! For me the shampoo and conditioner are a definite CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT!!!!

I have very thick, wavy hair. Not curly, just frizzy and wavy. I have tried over the years many, many different products to tame my hair, keep the fly-aways at bay and generally help the long and tedious process of blow-drying then straightening my hair and Super Sknny is the only product I have found that helps!

I use it twice. Once right after I get out of the shower, when my hair is still soaking wet. That helps with the waves and frizz. Then after I am done blow drying my hair and using a straight iron, I apply a very small dab at the ends of my hair as well as the small ones that frame my face to get rid of the fly-aways.

It both protects my hair from getting surly, even in very humid weather and gives my hair shine without looking greasy. Just don't put it on your roots!

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum-Its Super Shinny too.............Oh yes it is super super shinny espeacially if you have natural waves or curls like me. I have used the product for about 4 years.

I like how it enhances my natural waves with a nice gloss and how it adds shine to my hair and decreases frizziness. Also, it works great when you use a straigtening iron it adds a glossy effect and minimizes damage to the hair shaft. The smell is pleasant as I find with all Paul Mitchell products.

Also, the product can range between $17-$20 but it lasts a while, and sometimes JC Penney salons sell it bogo.

I have one thing I don't like about the product and that is it greasy on your hands and for this compulsive hand washing reviewer it makes me nuts so I find that I have to wash my hands 2-3 times to get rid of the greasy feel. That is just my pet peeve and I still give it 5 stars.

I love Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum! It gets my tangles out easily without weighing my hair down. Also, the amount of time it saves me blowdrying is amazing. I don't usually spend a lot for hair care products, but this is worth it. I've been using it for years and love that it not only makes my hair shiny and smooth, it also reduces the dry time. All I have to do is put this in before drying and it smooths out all those kinks and frizzy looking pieces. I'm addicted!!...

My hair dresser told me about this so i thought i would try it and i have not went a day without using it. I put it on my hair befor i blow dry it and it makes my hair supper shiny and silky smooth. i would recomend this to any one no matter what kind of hair you have, Also it is amazing for calming down your fly aways....
