I own my own home which has central heating and cooling, however over the weekend the entire system failed when the temperature was hovering in the low thirties. I must say that service people do a great job, but they make you pay triple for that job or more on the weekend service calls. So instead of calling a serviceman I decided to purchase a heater to get me throught the weekend. The store clerk recommended the Tower Quartz heater by Patton, and I must tell you that i was pleasantly surprised. This heater did a terrific job, I am very happy with my purchase. The heater surrounded my entire living room with comforting warmth, I did not have to sit in front of the heater to know that it was working. I would certainly encourage anyone who needs a heat source for the upcoming winter months to try this heater. My central heat has been repaired now, but I know that I will continue to use this heater also, it even has a thermostat.
...

I use this heater DAILY in my office. After having the fire marshal "ban" my previous heater (that would not turn off when flipped over), the company purchased this one for me. It works very well and heats the entire area behind my desk quickly and relatively quietly. The high heat setting will "cook" you quickly so I assume it would do a great job of heating an entire small room if it were used in that way....

I love this space heater. Keeps my feet nice and toasty when I'm on the computer and it's a big hit with my Chihuahua! This heater has a fan setting with no heat and three heat settings. I have a huge bedroom that gets comfortably warm in about 30 minutes. ...
