Pastini is my favorite Italian restaurant in the Portland area. If given the choice, I usually choose Pastini. I like to try new things but two of my favorites here are the Macaroni and Cheese and the Rigatoni Zuccati with butternut squash, mushrooms and spinach.The menu has an excellent variety of choices, the portions are VERY generous, the prices are reasonable and the service is always excellent.

this is one of my favorite places to go when i'm craving italian food. the food is always delicious, at such a reasonable price & portion, & the staff is always friendly & responsive. the ziti vegetariano is fantastic & the bread is fabulous as well. the only downside to this location is that the parking lot is kind of tiny, so you might need to find parking on the street.

Pastini Pastaria is my Italian restaurant find of the century. Very "affordable" shouldn't scare off anyone who wants a really traditional, full-flavored Italian dish. Pastini's makes dishes that are truly old world and very tasty. I am a frequent customer and have yet to have a bad meal and/or poor service. It just doesn't happen. The service is great! Try anything on the menu and you will be pleasantly surprised that a low price can offer such a high quality meal. Great wines, many pasta noodles to choose from, traditional Italian beer, and their sauces are perfect. They have a very nice antipasti menu, too. As soon as I've left, I can't wait to go back....
