I was told by our pediatrician to use soy formula, by DD is lactose intolerant, so we started with similac isomil, which was awesome, but the price wasn't, so i thought i would try Parents Choice Soy-Based Formula , with in a few hours my little one was constipated ad gas and a belly ache, so we switch back to similac isomil, it's worth the money, not all formulas are the same, Parents Choice uses an oil base, similac uses powder, the palm olein in the parents choice causes constipation ,for some baby's. So in trying to save some money i ended up having to spend more for formula last month, i'll stick with the good thing have.
...

I was skeptical when i purchased this formula but it worked for my son. It was cheap and didn't upset his stomach. He was regularly on Good Start Soy. Parents Choice Soy Based Formula is something i would recommend to any mom looking for a cheap alternative to soy formula.
...

mikeswife81805 says "buying formula and need more for your money, get parent's choice" about Parents Choice Soy-Based Formula

I was very pleased with this product! I was running low one day, I am on WIC(women infants and children) and I didnt get my coupons until about 3 or 4 days later. And I had just ran out of formula. DIdn't have much money so I went to walmart to see how much their formula was. I think it was $12.97 for a pretty big can! I was already happy. Now will my daughter like it? I gave her her first bottle of it. And she had less gas, and she loved it! A good value, and a great product! DEFINITELY would buy again!
...

gusrtaylor says "Parent's Choice Soy Based has been a god sent for our family" about Parents Choice Soy-Based Formula

Parent's Choice Soy Based Formula had really been a God sent for our family. My youngest daughter was having trouble with bowel movements but the doctor didn't seem very concerned. So I started trying different things to help her. I felt that my 2 month old should not have to have a hard time going potty. One of my friends said to try soy based instead of milk based formula and it worked. My daughter started being able to eat more and have daily bowel movements witch we had not done in a month or two. Also with the job market the way it is my husband has been unemployed for a while. We have two kids at home and with my income things are tight. The Parents Choice line of products fits well not only with our budget but with our lifestyle. Parents choice costs almost about 40 percent less than having to buy items like ProSobee LIPIL or Isomil Advance. That really adds up. With my first child I went all out buying expensive things and spending alot on formula thinking...
...

My baby spit up more and more after his birth. We started out with Similac Sensitive but it became obvious that it wasn' working for him as time went on. We went as far as to try Alimentum formula as our doctor suggested but he still spit up like a volcana. Finally as a last resort we tried soy formula and we were so thrilled that it stayed down 100 times better. Once the free samples were gone we tried the Parent's Choice brand and it worked like a charm and actually blended better than the Similac Soy. I can't think of any cons for this formula.
...

My husband I used the Parents Choice Soy Formula with our daughter the entire time she was on formula. We found that is was very affordable compared to other brands, with the same ingredients and my daugher seemed to like it. We tried several other formulas and she wouldn't take them, so once we found Parents Choice Soy Formula, we stuck with it!...

Parent's Choice and other store-brand formulas are a huge money saver and have all the same nutritional components of the name brands. My baby drinks it without complaint. And since we're limited to soy in our home due to mine and my husbands own allergies, we are soooo grateful for the availability of an affordable soy formula for our little guy. It did cause constipation, but our pediatrician said it's okay to give him watered down prune juice to counteract that. So it's all worked out. We don't mind the yellowish color as we've been drinking and eating soy products for years and that simply comes with the territory. If you need or want to switch to soy, don't spend all of the extra money on the name brands.
...

I had two children back to back. My oldest was still on formula when the baby came. So we just couldn't afford all the name brand stuff. Parents Choice was great. Almost half the price and the same stuff. The only down fall was it's yellow... So when my son threw up. It was yellow too....

MarissaG says "Son loved the taste, but his tummy didn't agree" about Parents Choice Soy-Based Formula

After a long search for the right formula for my son, we decided to try this one. We had him on Similac Isomil before but it was killing our pocketbook, so with our pediatrician's blessing we tried the Parent's Choice Soy formula. He seemed to like the taste better than Isomil, and it provided the same gas/cramping relief but for a MUCH smaller price. Unfortunately, after we started feeding formula full-time, he got completely constipated and we had to switch him after about 4 days. We never noticed while we were still nursing him because the breastmilk must've had a laxative effect on him. We switched him to the Parent's Choice Gentle formula and he's been thriving! Still, I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for a soy formula that is less expensive. It's just too bad that my son's tummy didn't agree with his tastebuds....

I just swapped my baby to this formula, from Similac Isomil Advanced, at age six and a half months. The Parents Choice version is every bit as good and less than half the price!!!! My little boy has some acid reflux which has calmed down as his digestive system has developed more--but we had no trouble making the swap from Similac to Parents Choice and he’s had no reactions. It’s like he is still drinking the more expensive formula. Most parents I know spent around $120 a month on baby formula. Using Parents Choice our formula bill has been cut to about $50 a month!...

We recently switched our daugther to this formula. With the milk based, it was as if she was just pouring it back after eating and not retaining anything. With the soy based, I have the comfort that she is getting something out of it. So if your baby is just continuing to spit up, then try this formula to see if it will help your baby too....
