Baby formula can get expensive quick. I tried to exclusively breatfeed my son for as long as possible, but when I had to start him on formula I had many options. I tried him on both Similac Advance to Enfamil Premium Lipil. He liked both, and when I had coupons for either, the formula was alright, cost wise. It was when the coupons ran out that I decided to try Parent's Choice. I was a little leary about not giving my son "the best". But it turns out "the best" is sold in two different packages... Parent's Choice and Enfamil Premium Lipil have EXACLTY the same ingredients. There is only one difference between the two, about $10 a container. Now I don't know about you, but my sone goes through a container about every four days. That's about 8 containers a month. So alone just for switching you are saving $80 a month... and that adds up fast. I would highly recommend Parent's Choice milk based formula to anyone as a nutritional and cost effective solution to your baby's formula......

I love that I can get a formula for my baby that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, but is still very close to breasmilk! I feel comfortable using this to wean my baby!

I have three children, three and under, and all of them have had formula at some point. I have used several kinds of formula in the past, some of which were twice as much as Parent's choice, and since changing brands I haven't had any problems. This formula meets all of the required standards for formula and it is much cheaper than any other brand I've seen.

The only difference I've noticed at all is that the consistancy of the powder is a little thicker than other brands I have tried, which makes it slightly harder to mix with water. But it has never been a big problem for me.

My baby who currently uses this formula has never had any bad reactions to it causeing me to believe that he dislikes it. Nor has he had any problems with gas or other stomache problems while using this formula.

I see no reason to pay more for other brands when Parent's Choice has all of the quality that the others have.

Parent's Choice baby formula was used with all three of my children from birth up until they were a year old. It would not upset their stomachs, did not make them gassy, and was very affordable. I'm not sure if Wal-Mart even sells it any more but they should continue to sell it because it was used quite often in my household and I loved it for over three years. Sometimes they would clearance out certain cans of it and the cost would go down dramatically which made it very affordable for a single teenage mother of three to buy it on a very small paycheck. They also have different choices between soy, iron, lipids, dha/ara, etc., and that is very helpful too because all of my children drank soy milk and that was very difficult to afford if it were Enfimil or something like that. So here are just a few reasons why i think Parent's Choice baby formula is the best formula that i have ever used:

1. Very cheap but not in quality.

2. Doesnt' upset a baby's stomach.

As I have said in the past I have four children my youngest is 3 months old.I started using parents choice with my third child.a friend of mine had used it and told me that it was just as good as a highly recomended name brand.I had never even considered using anything other than the name brand formula.I was afraid to tell my pediatrician at first thinking I would be considered a bad parent for using "generic"formula. To my surprise the doctor didnt question it and said that was fine.Now unless there is some reason that prevents me from getting to Walmart to buy it I will not use the name brands.I get those discount "checks" from the other companies and the savings still dont compare, The price hasnt changed in a few years. A large can of powder mix is on the average half the prce of its brand name equivilant.I recomend Parents choice formula to anyone who has or is going to have a baby.

Parent's chice milk based infant formula is a affortabel great product that has actually help my familly. It has the same ingredients as the brand formulas out there wich means that are the same, just a matter of brand name that actually changes. I love this product and I recommend this product to all the low income, money savers out there to buy this product. So they are affortabel and great for kids. In addition is recommende it by doctors. Its has the same nutrients as the other brands out there . So don't get full by the brand when can actually have the same similar product at a cheaper price. We started out with Enfamil, because that's what I was getting free in the mail and from the hospital. I went to Wal-mart to buy more once we ran out and the Parent's Choice brand was half the price! Plus, it had all the same ingredients and same amounts, so we bought that instead. My son has been on it for the last 9 months and always loves it.

I started out using a name brand formula after nursing my son. I didnt think that name brand fomulas could be just as good. Well one day I was running low on money and had no choice but to choose the store brand kind. I worried that my son wouldnt like it and that it wasnt as good for him. But when i got home and compared the cans i realized they were pretty much the same thing. As it turns out my son loves it, he actually likes it better. The price cant be beat. You can get the big can for less than the price of the little can of name brand formula. Love it.

I used Parent's Choice Infant Formula with Iron Milk Based for all three of my children. If you compare it to Similac it is very similar nutrition wise. I had no problems with weight gain or being undernourished. You can not beat the price of this formula compared to the "Name Brands" that are out there. I would reccomend this formula to all mothers. There really is no need for expensive formulas, and if you child needs special formula, parents choice has many to choose from, including soy. I really don't know why anyone would spend more money on a name brand, especially in this economy. So if you need to save money, this is a good way to do it. Wal-Mart's Parent's Choice milk based iron-fortified infant formula can be purchased in both the powdered and concentrated varieties. One 13 ounce can of concentrated Parent's Choice costs $1.88 each at my local Wal-Mart. Compare that to $2.97 for the same size concentrated can of Similac with Iron and $2.78 for Enfamil with Iron. Exactly the same ingredients as Enfamil Lipil. And it doesn't foam when you shake it up to mix the powder. With my first child i payed for the best of everything. Nothing was too good for my baby. Even though my pediatrician reccomended generic formula to save money since we don't qualifiy for WIC. Well the second time around I did some research on infant formula's and learned that the company that makes store brand formula's gets their ingredients from the same supplier as all the other big named infant companies. I also learned that some of the name brand companies have been sued by the company that makes the generic formula's for saying things like "our formula is the only one with... (insert ingredient here) on their lables... and they won the lawsuits. Thats why the price of Enfamil has gone up about $5 a can in the last two years.

My second baby, who is 4 months old now, has been on the Parents choice gentle formula since i stopped breastfeeding at 6 weeks. He was spitting...

I have three children, ages 10,2, and 9 months. With my first two children I used the Similac brand formula and it was O.K. By the time I had my third the economy was doing bad and I had lost my job, so we were trying to cut back our expenses. So I think ok I will try to breastfeed with this one. I had attempted to breastfeed with my second child, but things went horribly wrong. He was premature and had not learned how to suck and while waiting my milk supply dried up very quickly. So now here we go again....my third child was right on time and lactched on well the first time, but lets face it breastfeeding is hard.....and painfull. After about four weeks I had all I could take, it was time to go to plan B. My husband had the great idea to compare the labels of formulas. We noticed that the Parent's Choice brand offered more, so we decided to try it. It works great! I would not go back to the other. PARENT'S CHOICE INFANT FORMULA is wonderful for those parents that want all of the goodness of the big brands without the big cost. I compared the ingredients in this formula to the Enfamil that I was buying previously and they are the exact same with half the price. I was paying $23-25 for the Enfamil before I received this brand as a gift. My son didn't show any signs of knowing the difference and he drinks it just the same as the Enfamil. When I went to the store to see how much it cost, I found out it is around $11 per can. This is definitely worth the switch. I thought I was getting a bargain because I was getting coupons for other brands in the mail, but even with the coupons, they cannot beat the cost savings. This brand is just as easy to mix and the big named brands and uses the same amount of formula to water ratio. My son and I are extremely happy with this brand and will continue to use it.

I think Parent's Choice is a great alternative for name brand formulas. It works just as well for less than half the cost. In today's economy, saving money is a secondary priority to the well being of my children. The primary being their care. I can give my child a great product without breaking the bank.

The Parent's Choice Milk Based Formula, is a great formula, and costs half the price of other formulas. My baby seems to like the formula and is doing well on it. I have tried the other formulas out there, and I see absolutely no difference, except the price. Why buy the expensive formulas when you can have the same formula for half of the price?

After breastfeeding my daughter for three months, my husband and I were very careful when choosing a formula. We started out with the pricey top of the line name brands. While at Walmart, I compared the can of the name brand that I usually purchased, to the Parent's Choice brand. To my surprise they were exactly the same, and Parent's Choice was 1/2 the price. I immediately went home and did some research on-line. We've been using Parent's Choice for over a month now and we absolutelylove it! My daughter is not spitting up nearly as much either. We've never experienced any of the concerns that I've read in other reviews. This is a great product, and a fantastic way to provide a quality formula for your child at a great price for anyone's budget.
