I have never had a high quality television until I finally got this Panasonic TH-42PX75U 42 in. HDTV Plasma TV, which I absolutely love. I never knew how much better my television experience could be with this television. The television is a flat panel that rests easily on the base stand and is perfect in my apartment because it doesn't take up much room and is really an amazing product. I never knew the picture quality on a television could be so great, but I really feel emerged in the shows. I also bought an HD Home Theater system to connect to this so the sound is amazing and you really feel like you are in the shows. The sound is really clear and the picture is so vivid in color. The television is HD which means every channel you watch is so much better than you could ever imagine if you just have a standard television. This television was easy to setup and cost less than $1200 and was a great investment. Television watching is so much better now!

The Panasonic 42 in. HDTV Plasma TV was our one splurge purchase when we moved. I had once vowed, in my hardcore environmentalist days, to never buy a TV. I have changed my opion on that. Besides, now I watch a lot more nature shows.

There were plenty of choices at Circuit City in this size range. We have a pretty small living room. We spent half an hour after deciding on a price & size range looking at the picture images of all our choices. The Panasonic just seemed to us to have the most realistic colors. The image was our final decider.

I have been happy and amazed these past 2 years. I expect many more years from this tv, but I think 2 years is a good track record for evaluation. Nature shows are breath taking now. Watching baseball games makes you feel like you are at the game--minus the drunk bleacher bums. It is amazing to see the difference that HD makes when I view one analog channel and then switch to a digital one. I didn't even recognize the same show...

I looked at many HD plasma screens before selecting this one. Panasonic has the best pictures of any I have seen. The only thing I wish was that I had gotten a black fram to better offset the contrast of the picture.

I love HDTV and wanted the best. Now I have it.

Panasonic 42" HDTV Plasma TV

I wasn't much of a TV watcher. In fact, for the last several months, I didn't even have a TV in my living room. We have a 55" big screen downstairs and I just wouldn't go down there to watch TV. Since I am reader, it didn't bother me too much.

Then came baseball season and my beloved Detroit Tigers. I don't miss a game. If I can't watch it on TV, I listen to it on the radio. One evening, while listening to the game on the radio, an awesome double play was made and I found myself racing to a television so I could witness it for myself. Unfortunately by the time I found the station, the replays were over and I was left to imagine it all in my head.

The next day, we were at Best Buy looking for flat screen televisions. Since my primary reason for wanting a new television was for watching baseball games, the Best Buy associate pointed me in the direction of the Plasma tv's. She turned on a hockey game, and we began comparing the difference between...

I bought my first HDTV this past Black Friday and I love it! I also bought the DVD Home Theater Sound System (SA-PT950) no HDTV is complete without a 5.1 surround sound. I get my HD cable from Comcast and for the most part the HD channels come in clear but some could be better. Not sure if I’ll be going to Blu-Ray or HD-DVD anytime soon since the Sound System has up conversion built in and is pretty good with the HDMI Cable. I also love the fact that anywhere you sit you could still see great color and overall picture quality....

I have had this TV for about 3 months and I enjoy it everytime I turn it own. Quality of the LG TV's is wonderful. This is my second LG. I also own a 32" liquid Crystal LCD-TV. I also owned 2 other lesser brands and the LG far exceeds the others. Great picture, wonderful quality of sound. I also have a Sony surround sound attached along with various video consoles. I can't say enough about how I love this TV. If purchasing be assure you will not be disappointed....

As a sports fan (football, golf) I had heard that HD plasma would really change the viewing experience and it truly has. I've had my new tv for about 2 months and have been thrilled with it's performance. The picture and sound quality are great. If it had one negative it would be tv shows and movies that have scenes taking place in dark rooms or outdoors at night. It becomes had to distinguish detail during those scenes but I knew this would be a concern based on the research I did before making my purchase. For sports and nature programs it is amazing....
