CyndiA says "Pansonic Cordless Phone - Finally! Phones that work. " about Panasonic - 6.0 digital KX-TG1033S Cordless Phone

The Panasonic cordless phone set is the third I've bought. The first two were VTech and GE. Those were so bad that I had to return them. Then I went to Amazon and got the Panasonic KX-TG1033 which is a set with three phones. One is on the base unit that plugs into the phone jack. The other two are units that have small chargers and can plug into any wall outlet. This is nice in a home where there are only two phone wall jacks and not very conviently located.

The problem with the other brands were that that had static and very little volume and that was on both ends of calls. I hated to even get or make calls on those phones. Panasonic is clear as a bell - really. Now and then I think I've lost the connection, because there's just no noise on the phone line. Also, the volume is perfect - just like talking in person.

The units are about the same size as other cordless phones, but the buttons are a tad larger and easier to see with bright numbers. I like that, since I need reading glasses...
...

6.0 PANASONIC DIGITAL HOME TELEPHONE

I JUST BOUGHT MY PANASONIC DIGITAL CORDLESS TELEPHONE ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO. SO FAR I REALLY LIKE IT. IT HAS 3 HANDSETS WITH CHARGERS.THE SCREEN THAT SHOWS THE NUMBERS YOU ARE CALLING IS CLEAR AND EASY TO READ. THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND SET UP ARE EASY TO UNDERSTAND. THE SETUP PRETTY MUCH EXPLAINS ITSELF. IM NOT ELECTRONICALLY INCLINED, AND I CAN FIGURE IT OUT ALL BY MYSELF. THE BATTERIES WERE EASY TO INSTALL, AND ONLY TOOK 7 HRS. TO CHARGE. IT ALSO HAS AN INTERCOM, SO YOU CAN ALERT SOMEONE IN ANOTHER ROOM , THAT THEY HAVE A CALL. THE TIME IS ON THE HAND SET, AND ALL THE OTHER FEATURES ARE EASY TO USE, BY SCROLLING WITH THE ARROWS UP OR DOWN.

I BOUGHT IT AT BEST BUY. IT WAS A GOOD BUY FOR $100.00 . IT ALSO HAS A WALL MOUNT FOR THE BASE UNIT. THE HANDSETS HAVE SMALL NUMBERS ON EACH UNIT FOR EASY REMEMBERING TO WHICH CHARGER IT BELONGS.
...
