I purchased the Pampered Chef Pizza Stone and removable rack holder as a gift for my husband several years ago. He is a pizza fanatic and had always wanted to try cooking pizza on a stone. Needless to say, he was thrilled with the gift and has used it many, many times since receiveing it.

I personally think it works well, but I also have used aluminum pizza sheets that seem to work just as well to me. I dislike cooking stones, as they are not really made to be washed thoroughly, and I definitely like to scrub my dishes clean using very hot water. I have the scrapper that you are instructed to use to remove any stuck on food from the stoneware, and that does work well. However, sauces and oils just are not able to be removed as easily. (I have tried cornstarch or lightly flouring the stone before baking, which seem to improve the amount of food sticking to the stone.)

Overall, a good piece of kitchen equipment, but perhaps not totally necessary.
...

I admit that I didn't know what Pampered Chef was until one of my Army wife friends told me about it because she was a consultant. She mentioned it to me because she new that I made my own pizzas from scratch but could not find anything that was durable enough and nonstick proof to cook them on. She had a party at my house, I made enough in sales through my hosting and recieved the large stone for little cost. She told me how to use it and I said, "okay, it's worth trying." To this day I have never cooked my pizzas on anything else. I have not had one thing to stick to this stone. And now I refuse to cook on anything else. I have had my stone for about 7 1/2 years now and still loving it. I also had a stoneware baking dish that my son had accidentally dropped and broke and do you know that I only had to send in a piece of it with my purchase order ticket and they replace it for free. How awesome is that!!! Thanks Pampered Chef
...

This is a wonderful product. I have had mine for about 2 years and I use it just about everyday. We use it for a lot more than pizza. We cook french fries, frozen appetizers, chicken nuggets and cookies. I have even cooked salmon on it. It does not absorb the odor of other foods. I love PC!!
...

The pizza stone from Pampered Chef that we received as a gift cracked upon first usage. Pampered Chef sent us a replacement for free, but specified in their note to us that if this replacement stone cracked, there would be no free replacement. That seemed odd. Unfortunately, the replacement stone cracked last night, again upon first usage. We followed all of the directions for its care, too. The pizza came out great, but the stone was cracked from handle to handle, just like the first one.
...

I have two pampered chef large round baking stones and I love them! I will never bake another cookie on a regular pan again. It cooks everything evenly . It is very easy to clean up. Just run under hot water to clean. It can be pricey but it is worth every penny to me....

This is the most versatile stoneware from PC. You can use it to make pizzas or cookies or any other kind of dessert found in the PC cookbooks. The only downfall of the stone is that it is LARGE so it's hard to find storage for it if you have a small kitchen, like me....

Sure, Pampered Chef is a great name, though I always feel like I'm paying more for the name than the product. For Christmas we got Hartstone Pottery baking stones as a gift. WOW! First, they are dishwasher and soap safe--which makes my Pampered Chef stone go to the back of the line for use! The 9 x 13 baker we got is just awesome. Cleans up easily...AND you don't even have to season the Hartstone stones. Unreal. Apparently the Hartstone Pottery baking stones are going into some Food Network promo--so I must not be the only one that thinks they are great. Hartsone stones cooked more evenly....
