The pampered chef kitchen scissors are light weight, easy to use and easy to clean. I enjoy using them for light jobs in the kitchen such as opening bags and snipping ends of vegetables. These scissors lasted me about 5 years of everyday use and dishwashing. I would recommend them to everyone.

Vallari says "Can't live with out these!" about Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears

The Pampered Chef kitchen shears are a must have for any woman who spends time in the kitchen. I use these to cut open bags of vegetables, to chop meat with or without bones, to cut cardboard, straws for sippie cups, almost all my toddlers finger foods, and so much more. Anyway, I take these with me when we go out because they are just so sharp they make short work of any cutting task I have. These shears aren't even the newer model that Pampered Chef carries and at 19.00 they are a steal. The shears sharpen themselves everytime you use them and have a case to store them as they remain open out of the case. The case mounts on the wall with a stick up or a screw, your choice if you should so desire. I personally stash them in the silver drawer. Try them and you too will wonder why you never had these sooner....

I got these shears 4 years ago.... They STILL cut everything! They come with a holder that you can attach to your cabinet anywhere (Under, on the side, inside the door, etc.) The shears open inside the holder to stay put & are easily grabbed whenever you need them.... No searching through the utility drawer with mucky hands! YEAH!

My favorite use is lobster & crab shells. They cut through like butter. No scratched hands from those sharp edges & no need for the picker because you just cut a line straight over the top & bottom and....... VOILA! the meat just fall out!

They are a little expensive, but well worth the price.
...

goldstrike2 says "Self sharpening shears that cut paper, nails, or raw meat, " about Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears
Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears-

They are a kitchen and utility wonder!

They self sharpen.

They are dishwasher safe.

They never rust and the handle does not discolor.

You can literally cut steel nails with them but be careful not to bend the blade. It can be done relatively easy...I've done it to demonstrate to my friends. Even if the blade slightly bends they still sharpen and work just fine.

They also cut coupons, cloth, bones, raw meat, vegtables, grocery packages, and Christmas paper!

I have three pair, one for cooking, one for the kitchen utility drawer, and a third pair in my garage for outdoor use.

The pair in the garage is the oldest. I once lived in an apartment. I used them on a project while on my ground floor patio and forgot and left them outside. When I remembered I'd left them outside I went to get them and they were gone. A few days later my son came in from playing and said the apartment maintance man had my shears. I went and "retrieved" them from him. He apologized, bragged......
