I purchased the Pampered Chef Food Chopper because I love most Pampered Chef products and thought it would make my life easier. What I found is that it as you chop, it doesn't stay in place well and the product you're chopping doesn't get evenly chopped. Some pieces end up chopped smaller and other pieces stay larger. Firmer foods, like carrots, tend to chop better than softer products, like tomatos. I also find that you can only chop a small amount of product at one time. Especially for the price, I didn't find that the Pampered Chef Food Chopper worked as well as I would like. On the bright side, it's small, easy to store, and cleans rather easily....

I am typically pretty positive in product reviews because I don't generally keep products I'm not happy with.

I've had this Pampered Chef Cutting Edge Food Chopper for a few years now. I haven't used it for much except walnuts or pecans when baking. Most times though I find it easier to put the nuts in a plastic bag and roll or hit with a heavy wooden rolling pin.

I'm just not impressed with the PC Chopper. If I get a few too many nuts in the chopper, the soft plastic/rubber base falls off easily while chopping. Because the base is so shallow, of course the nuts end up spilled on the counter and floor. What a waste of nuts.

Because I wash dishes by hand (no dishwasher), the blade part on the chopper is very hard to wash. Too small of an area between the blades to get it clean without soaking for a time.

With a few improvements, I could see this being handy. As its, I would not buy this again.

Lets face it we love when the littlest of things make are life easier. When the came out with sliced bread we were estatic, when we no longer had to churn our butter we were thrilled, when the first caller id was invented we screamd for joy of the possibility of ignoring telemarketers (fat chance). Now as im goin to walmart i see something that will no longer having me squirming with that fact that cutting onions will stain my fingers or sclicing tomatoes is considered a chore o no what i hold in my hand is the answer to all my problems. I go home an think of the most time consuming dinner that involved me cutting uup 50 different things. Aha befftew so i prepare the onins, carrots, celery, in order waiting to be chopped by this little miricle. as i slowly start to chop away i realize somethingits jammed its sticking theirs 6 different pieces you have to tear apart anf food stuck in this hole and that gadget well its just to much work. I think Ill go back to my lonely french knife sitting...

If I had to choose only one kitchen tool to own, it would be the Pampered Chef Cutting Edge Food Chopper. It's super quick and safe. I can't imagine not having it. Chops absolutely anything in seconds. I use it most when making salads to chop peppers, onions, apples, walnuts, etc.

I love the Pampered Chef Food Chopper! It is so easy to use and my kids love to use it to. It is always great when my kids can help in the kitchen. It workds much better than other people versions of a food chopper. The food chopper is easy to take a part. Also once you take the chopper apart it cleans up easily and it is dishwasher safe. I love that I can chop onions without crying!!! This food chopper has a cap so you don't have to worry about finding a cutting board or something else to use it on. The blades on this chopper rotate so everything gets chopped up evenly without the hassle of hand chopping. I have had this chopper for 3 years and it still works like it is new. I have tried other items that say they are just the same and that is sooooo not true -- no other product matches this Pampered Chef Food Chopper. This item save alot of time in the kitchen!!!!

Well Worth the Money!

The pampered chef cutting edge food chopper saves me time and hassle in the kitchen. Smaller that a food processor, and allows me to chop garlic, etc very quickly and with no mess.

The Pampered Chef Food Chopper is GREAT! I have had mine for many many years and still love it. It helps me chop things super fast and I can chop things as small as I want them. It really is a time saver especially if I am making something that requires a lot of chopping or if it is something I need to make really small so the kids so not know it is in there. Great for garlic also. Just put it in there whole, push down once to peel off the skin, put it back in and pound away till it is how small you want it. The kids love using it too! Then when we are done we just throw it in the dishwasher. It opens up for easy cleaning which is a GREAT feature. I used to own another brand and it was hard to clean and get all the food out. The one from Pampered Ched is very easy to clean and put back together.

The Pampered Chef Cutting dge Food Chopper was something I had always wanted when I went to Pampered Chef parties but I'm too cheap to ever buy for myself. I received one as a wedding gift eight years ago and I love it so much that if I hadn't gotten it as a gift, I would have gone out and bought one! I use it to chop quite a range of foods but usually for cornflakes or crackers for chicken coating or graham cracker crust. I also like to chop into an empty cool whip container since it keeps it "contained" rather than on a cutting board. It also comes apart for easy cleaning. I have found that you do not want to let it sit after chopping veggies because they will really stick but if you give it a quick rinse it will clean no problem. I have used this chopper for eight years and the blades are still sharp and it is functioning with no problem! I wiould recommend this item to anyone who likes to cook - it will make your job easier!

I just recently attended a Pampered Chef party, which was a blast. I ended up splurging a bit since we are back in the kitchen more!

This PC chopper is expensive, but well worth the money. I use it to chop anything that needs small pieces: veggies, nuts, and it's perfect for onions b/c you don't have to be exposed to the fumes and no crying!

It's easy to clean and stays sharp FOREVER! I've had mine for over ten years and I use it every week and it is still sharp!

I am a HUGE fan of Pampered Chef products and I used to sell them. This food chopper has lasted me many years and is still chopping well. I love that it turns by itself to chop evenly and that it stores with a cover on it-- like most sharp Pampered Chef products.

What I don't like is that after you take it apart-- which only takes a second-- it takes a LOT longer to put back together. The sharp zig zag blade is very difficult to get through the plastic zig zag hole of the holder piece. I am always afraid I will cut myself.
