      <description>Wonderful non-profit established to help the disabled.&#160;&#160;&#160; &lt;p&gt;Our Special Angels, (501c3) is a great way for youth and adults with disabilities in the Twin Cities area to become active learn a new skill and do good things. &#160;Angels have an opportunity to socialize, learn crafts, and gift to others in need.&#160; Activities include: &#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Angels participate in fun activities while developing skills leading to greater independence such as leadership, organization, budgeting, socialization, and self care.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;OSA is an all volunteer program that encourages youth with disabilities to participate in enriching programs and organized activities and help them become more involved in the community.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Help support an Innovative program&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;That encourages young people to&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;make wise decisions&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;choose positive paths&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;grow up competent, caring, and responsible&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;be involved in healthy relationships&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;avoid high risk behaviors&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;become more involved in the community&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;OSA is a federally recognized charity as a 501c3&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;I have gotten involved...&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;... </description>

      <description>Our Special Angels assists disabled young people to grow and flourish through the art of crafting. They have learned to crochet, knit, loom and quilt, rubber stamp and the wonderful world of machine embroidery. The Angels group has provided training and leadership to over 70 teens and adults, and the organization continues to grow.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;If you are interested in becoming a member, we would greatly appreciate your input. Members assist with physical donations such as appliques, blanks threads, offer their time sewing, crocheting and knitting etc. As well as assisting in fundraising and obtaining donations by letter writing. We are desperate for supplies- it is just beyond the means of our youth to purchase these items- the young people in our group are often in state institutions and have been abandoned by family members who found their disabilities to be all too overwhelming. Would there be any way you might be able to find in it in your hearts to become a part of our organization?&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Current programs...... </description>
