This product is great and does works well... when I can tolerate it. It has an awfully bad taste-typically I can handle a little bad taste if it works but Oregano Oil doesn't just taste bad it burns going down my throat and gives me an awful case of heartburn immediately after I take it - the heartburn is stubborn too - difficult to get rid of. I also made the mistake of rubbing it in my nose when I had a allergy sinus infection - it caused a considerable amount of burning inside my nose & made my eyes tear profusely.

HOWEVER.... that being said I want to confirm that this product does work very well for allergies when taken internally, but especially for colds/flu.

For the past 10 years I was catching every single flu-bug out there in the winter time. I started taking Oregano Oil in November 2008. Since then I've only had one cold it was very minor. That's huge for me since I usually feel flu-sick all winter.

Although my family has been eating top of the line healthy for a couple of decades now, I still have had some terrible problems with allergies. Allergies would hit me hard in spring time and after only a few weeks of freedom, I would end up with weeks of hellish suffering that went on for months.

My eyes would start running and I would sneeze so severely for hours on end that my nose would often run like Niagara Falls for hours. My life in summer was a living hell. I tried EVERYTHING from allergy shots, to vitamins, supplements, and prescriptions for help. Sometimes there was one allergy medicine from Walmart that would work without making me TOO drowsy, but that just was not doing it for me- it wiped me out.

The asthma attacks were brutal as well. I would often spend hours clutching at a pillow terrified that each labored breath would be my last. Nothing helped that- except one herbal remedy would enable me to breathe enough to sleep. However, I could not take it every day.

I read an article on the benefits of taking Wild Mediterranean Oregano Oil a few years ago. I only seemed to get sick during cold and flu season, but even that was too much for me, so I decided to give it a try. The first thing that got me was sticker shock. For a tiny little bottle containing less than an ounce, it cost almost $30. I must have been crazy that day because I bought it anyway. I didn't really notice that I didn't get sick that first year, but the second year when half the people I worked with were calling off and going to the doctor for the flu and the other half were constantly coughing and sniffling, I noticed that I wasn't. I was healthy. I haven't had so much as a sniffle for 3 years now.

It tastes terrible, but what I do is fill a shot glass half full of water and place 4-5 drops of oil in the water then down it. I try to remember to take a dose every morning, but when I get around sick people I definitely remember to take it twice a day.
