jazzybean01 says "I love this Oral-B toothbrush" about Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Manual Toothbrush

I just went shopping for a new toothbrush a few days ago and picked up the Oral-B Cross Action toothbrush. I've used this one for a while with great results and I'm very happy with it. I get the Regular 40, med because I have a smaller mouth and it's easier to clean my teeth with. I like the softer bristles because the harder ones irritate my gums.

Oral-B Cross Action is a great toothbrush for anyone. It's got a cushioned handle so your hand doesn't cramp or get tired. It's not stiff and has some bend to it to get to those tough to reach spots. Oral-B Cross Action toothbrush also has bristles that massage your gums (of course you get the softness that works best for you). I'm very happy with the Oral-B Cross Action and will continue to use and buy this product....

Caprig says "This has potential, but it is WAY too Soft to clean well" about Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Manual Toothbrush

I was offered an Oral B CROSS ACTION PRO HEALTH MANUAL TOOTHBRUSH in return for my unbiased review once I had used it for a while.

One of my pet peeves is that they have made it very difficult to brush with hard brushes- which I prefer. They clean better and cause better gum stimulation. I have noticed that many people who spout off the benefits of soft tooth brushes because of gum damage, etc, often reveal over time that they have those very problems despite their usage of only soft brushes.

The CROSS ACTION PRO-HEALTH toothbrush was a little bit impressive at first- it did seem to clean the teeth a little bit despite being too soft, but after a couple of weeks, I noticed that my teeth were not getting clean enough for me.

In fact, I went back to a hard brush ( I stashed them before they became hard to find) and noticed with relief that my teeth and gums were in much better shape once I started CLEANING them again.

Despite the fancy rhetoric of this and many of the new toothbrushes, I......

Bryan-Carey says "Does the Oral- B CrossAction Toothbrush Live up to its Claims?" about Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Manual Toothbrush

Everyone agrees that it is vitally important to clean and take care of their teeth, but with so many different cleaning devices available, how can one possibly determine which one is best? Electric toothbrushes offer certain advantages, but a manual toothbrush can be just as effective at removing plaque and keeping the mouth healthy. Even among manual toothbrushes there are dozens of choices and one of the more unique tooth- cleaning devices I had the chance to try recently is the Oral- B Cross- Action Pro- Health Toothbrush, a large manual toothbrush.

Toothbrush Commentary:

Oral- B manufactured this toothbrush in a unique way that supposedly makes it more effective at cleaning teeth and promoting better oral hygiene. Part of its promotional material is its claim that it provides "Seven Benefits for a Cleaner, Healthier Mouth". They are:

Removes hard to reach plaque

Reduces gingivitis

Cleans along gumline

Polishes away surface stains

Removes odor causing germs on the tongue

Stimulates gums

Gentle...

...

bkovacs says "Big toothbrush. Did I say this thing is big?" about Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Manual Toothbrush

I was offered a free Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health toothbrush in return for my unbiased review. I've used the brush at least a dozen times now, so I have a good idea if it will be comfortable for me over the long haul.

I've had lots of dental problems over the years, mostly because I was too lazy and pig-headed to take care of my teeth. My biggest regret is that I didn't take better care of my teeth as a kid, because that would have me in much better dental condition today. All water over the dam, I suppose. I got dental religion about eight years ago and now brush after every meal and snack, maybe as many as five times a day. My teeth -- the gums, really -- responded well to this treatment and what's left of my teeth are in pretty good shape today.

As a frequent brusher, I know that I have to adapt to a new toothbrush on a regular basis. When I first saw the Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health toothbrush, I wasn't sure if I could ever adapt -- this thing is BIG. It's got a big head with several...
...

CyndiA says "Oral-B CrossAction provides a real mouth massage." about Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Manual Toothbrush

I broke my toothbrush when I was at the hospital staying with my Mom. That turned out to be a good thing, because my new Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health toothbrush is a lot nicer than the one I had been using.

Using the Oral-B (which is a manual toothbrush) is like getting a full mouth massage.

The bristle design is pretty complex. There are some high bristles at the top. On the sides are some soft rubbery spikes (but they're soft). The center has three types of bristles of different heights and leaning different directions. Even the back of the toothbrush head is textured.

The first time I brushed, I thought, "Wow!" The Oral-B CrossAction really does massage everything without being rough. My gums are a little sensitive, but even though I could feel the bristles getting around and between my teeth and on my gums, the sensation was very nice - not painful at all. Sometimes my gums will even bleed just a little with a brand new toothbrush, but they didn't with the Oral B.

The bristles are...
...
