My friends and I frequent the Olive Garden after an early evening event or for lunch. We've always been pleased with the service, the admosphere, and most of all the food....

The Olive Garden firstly seems to represent a more Northern Italian taste and an even a mediocre attempt at that! They also use more grossely seasoned cream sauces then necessary to Italian Cuisine in general which in vitro is actually a very simple cuisine. That is real Italian Cuisine uses natural ingredients along with certain natural herbs to complete its taste. The flavor therefore comes mainly from the combination of natural ingredients.

In all honesty i cannot give "The Olive Garden" high marks for Excellent Italian Cuisine although it is better then those restuarants that completely botch up Italian cooking and like Chinese American Cuisine it is apparent that it has adjusted its menu to the fatty overdone and enormously porportioned American taste bud.

Similarly in the category which includes the obsession for overly salted preparations to hide the mediocre compositional designs of food dishes the Olive Garden gets high marks.

Essentially for anyone truly familiar with Italian...

well this year I went to the endless bowl pasta and it was bad. The new sauces were not good this year at all. last year was so much better. If you still want to go get the meat sauce or 5 cheese other than that it was not good at all.

I enjoy dining at most Olive Gardens with an exception of a few. Once in particular is the South Ridge, Charleston, WV location. Service is very poor, management is minimal at best, and the food is fair. The management allows the staff to lean against the wall or sit at tables instead of taking care customers. I have waited as much as 15 minutes just to pay a bill - that's after the server had the credit card. Servers are slow to acknowledge the customers, slow to get refills to the table.

This is a favorite in our family of 5. The Tour of Italy is a great way to sample 3 different items. The salad is fresh however it is a bagged lettuce. The bread sticks are ok. Now I know some will differ with me. They are great HOT but lately I never seem to get them that way.

However, the prices are getting out of reach for most famlies. The tour of Italy is MUCH smaller than it was and the price has increased. Almost 17.00 now. With out deserts..that are also over priced at an average of 7.00, dinner for a average family of 4 will run almost $100.00. So enjoy and eat lots of the Free refill salad.

The restaurant is very comfy. The round tables are great for familys with chairs on wheels.

There may be a wait so allow for this if you have children Average wait is about 40 minutes unless you go at a off time.

Olive garden has some of the best Italian food and is one of the cleanest restaurants I have been in. Their service is usually excellent and very fast.They have some of the best trained employees who are also some of the most friendly and knowledgable of any restaurants I have been to. But you might half to wait up to 1 hour to get seated if you go in their peak time of day. They can be expense depending on what you order, but you can order the lighter lunch meal all day but they do not usually tell you.

If you want low budget, authentic, homemade, and simply delicious italian food, then Olive Garden is the place for you! Where should I start?? Whether you opt for the soup/salad and delicious hot garlic bread sticks or if you want the chicken parmesan, or garlic chicken, steak medallions, then you are in for a real treat. Not only is the food delicious but you get a nice portion enough to bag up and eat the next day...and for some reason it takes even better the next day. I usually get the chicken parmesan but i ask for angel hair pasta with extra marina sauce...hhhmmmm the best! The wine is good too but after a few samples, who needs a glass? Try the sampler appetizer or just ask for a side of marina sauce when you get your salad and breadsticks and start dipping! You won't be disappointed in any entree at this restaurant. Only downside is that everyone knows it's good so it's always crowded but well worth the wait. Are you hungry now??

Olive garden is a clean great restaurant to enjoy and eat in. every week we go out to dinner with ur best friends who we love a lot. frequently we go to the olive garden and enjoy the food. i like to pasta with the sauce which is mild and tasty to eat with my dinner. the new chicken in the citrus sauce and vegetables is a great light meal to enjoy and it is filling. the tables are big and the chair are comfortable. the rest rooms are clean and well supplied. the parking is easy and secure. most great is the soup and the salad i enjkoy the seconds on the salads in the restaurants. the food is well prepared and the cooks will make substitutions for the diner. the cost is reasonably and the bill is around 25 per person with good coffee at the end of the meal. the staff is friendlily and well versed in the front of the House operation. i do not drink alcohol so i do not know about the drinks at the restaurant.

The Olive Garden offers large portions of good Italian food at reasonable though not cheap prices. That pretty much sums up the reason why I grab the chance to eat there whenever the opportunity arises.
Why do I like the Olive Garden so much? Several reasons. First of all, they offer unlimited breadsticks and salad with every meal. Their breadsticks are warm, chewy on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside, infused with a garlicky butter glaze, and quite simply delicious. Their salads almost always use fresh lettuce without any brown spots or wilting and their vinaigrette dressing is tart yet not overwhelming. They're very good about handling special salad requests like no tomatoes and they never whine if you want to keep eating salad during the main portion of the meal or request a refill of the salad bowl.

Secondly, although the decorating is fairly nondescript, I find their restaurants relaxing. The light is low without being dim, the tables are dark wood and generally spaced...

So far, every Olive Garden I have been to has been a good experience. The price is always right, the food delicious and the employees are always courteous ... my only complaint would be the long lines, but I guess that if I have to wait for good food, then it's worth it !

The Olive Garden is one of my favorite places to eat italian food. There soup and salad are delicious. If your watching your weight they have entrees that are low fat and will not break your diet. The prices are so inexpensive that any income level could afford to eat there. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There is a wide variety of drinks and desserts. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. It is so popular that there is an occasional wait time but beepers are provided so you always know when it is your turn. You always can sit at the bar and order your food there if you don't have time to wait. Take out is always available. The selection of wines is very impressive. The house dressing is unique to anywhere I have ever been. The breadsticks are delicious and light. Lunch and dinner are available daily. The Olive Garden is a place for familes or friends. New entrees are being offered frequently.

The olive garden I went to had a very nice atmosphere to it. the wait wasn't that long,and the waiter was very pleasent. I ordered the chicken and brocali was fantastic. The prices were reasonable considering the portion you get. I would recommend this resturant to anyone who has a craving for italian food.

I have ate at many italian restaurants and this is by far the best. They have a wide variety of food to choose from. They have the bottom less salad and the bottom less soup which is very good also. I have tried many of the soups but the Sausage and Potato is in my opinion the best of all. If they did not put the dressing on the salad and offered other dressings that would make it even a little better. For the amount of food you get the price is also very reasonable. Olive Garden also offers a great atmosphere to eat in whether it be 2 or 10 of us. The staff is very friendly at this restaurant. They greet you as you walk in the door and are always there to accomadate you also. You will never have an empty drink at your table nor an empty salad or soup bowl. The service is very fast for the food. You may have to wait a little bit on the weekends to be seated but the wait is well worth it in the end. This restaurant is a very good place to eat and just relax....

Although we had to wait to be seated, the food was good. Portions were reasonable and the atmosphere casual. I enjoyed the dinner although the staff could have been a little more friendly. Olive Garden is one of my all time faves but I don't go often because they are a little pricey compared to another restaurant with the same entree's
