Ok as you may know Old Navy offers low priced clothing and accessories for the whole family. Gap Inc. owns Old Navy as well as Gap and Banana Republic. Don't be fooled into thinking that Old Navy offers the same great quality that Gap and Banana Republic do. They don't!

I worked at Old Navy for about a year. So, I purchased a lot of things from there. The price is right at Old Navy. The quality of clothing is not.

I have never purchased anything from Old Navy online. I have shopped at different locations a number of times. The stores I've been to have been reasonably clean. Some of the stores shelves look like people just throw the clothes around especially the clearance clothes. The employees are usually very friendly and helpful. Most employees have smiles on their faces which is always nice. The music is always fun and upbeat.

The prices at Old Navy are great.They always have low prices. They usually have some great deals going on. Clearance prices are awesome if you can...

I'll admit that I'm biased.

I love Old Navy. I've stuck with them for more than a decade now, even through the lousy commercials and interesting fashion trends.

However, the time has come to be honest about Old Navy - they have slid down the hill of quality and hit rock bottom.

Example 1: "Layering" Tees

Years ago, the "Perfect" tee was perfect. It was a hardy, cheap shirt that could easily last 2-3 seasons before losing its perfect shape, all for $6. Sadly, the "perfect" tee is now being sold as a layering tee. Layering tee - the audacity! In lay man's terms, this means that they took the same pattern and applied to fabric equivalent to cheese cloth. The price hasn't changed, but you need twice as many shirts for the same amount of coverage. It leaves me wondering what the cost REALLY is to make such a poor example of a shirt.

They give out better shirts for free at football games.

Example 2: Kimono Shirt

Old Navy is a good place to shop. The prices are fairly reasonable and the clothing is of good quality. I am able to find some good bargains there. I wish they would keep the young childrens socks in the same location. Everytime I go there they have moved the socks. The sales people are very helpful so I really can't complain too much.

Old Navy. The cheap offshoot of The Gap (which is the less expensive Banana Republic). Third tier prices on third tier clothes from a third tier store. What I like about the place is the fact that you can go in and spend $40 and get 2-3 items of clothing. If you search, you can fine some semi-hip styles among the bland khakis and graphic t-shirts. Generally the quality isn't greap. The fabrics feel cheap, the stitching is poor, the fits are boxy. The jeans especially seem to be unflattering on everyone.

But I keep going back because a few items I have bought there get a lot of wear. Until they fall apart because they are mostly crap. But what do you expect when you paid $10 for it?

I love the fact that when you order from the Old Navy you can also order from the other stores as well and it only cost you one shipping fee. That way you can order something for everyone and get the most out of the shipping fee. My last order almost included at least one thing from each store. It makes it easier to justify the shipping costs. With the economy the way it is, saving a bit on shipping means a lot to me. The products I received were in excellent condition and the shipping didn't take long at all. Shipping was less than 2 weeks, I believe. The deals on the Old Navy site were great and allowed me to purchase more than I thought I was going to for the money I was going to spend.

My son, who is twelve, is picky about his clothes. He wants so badly to fit in and have hip clothes, but I have a hard time affording them. However, at Old Navy, both of my kids (I have a seven year old too) can get the clothes they like at a price that wont break me.

The best thing about Old Navy is finding items in the clearance area. They are always putting new merchandise out on clearance, and you can get the stuff DIRT CHEAP! I'm talking shirts, shorts, belts, and even shoes for a fraction of what they were originally. I've spent as little as two or three dollars! And the clothes are durable, and don't look like something you've found on clearance.

You'll also find great unisex shirts during holidays like Indepence Day. Every year they come out with a new style with the year on it. I think I have Old Navy shirts dating back to 2005! And I still rock every one of them! (hey, why throw a good shirt away)

During the summer, you can pick up your bathing suits and...

This is one site I frequent often whenever I need maternity or children's clothes. I have never been disappointed with an order, and never had to send anything back. Their sizing is generous, they have cute styles and I can always find something on sale that we need. They even have plus sizes! Best of all, it's almost all quality cotton! I love that! I can shop for my entire family in one place! I just wish it was organic cotton, but you can't have it all. I'm unsure if this is made in the U.S. or not, but I think not. That is the only other thing I'd change. And you can't beat the $5 shipping on EVERY order! I hate having to buy $100 worth of clothes to get free shipping - and at Old Navy you don't have to.

the economy family has a hard time shopping for school clothes. The quality of clothing is great and stand up to the kids playing. The problem I have is that kids grow so fast and at those prices its gets rough on the school clothes budget. Sales need to be adverticed better. ...

I love shopping at oldnavy.com!!! The prices are great, especially when the are having sales or you shop the clearance section. I purchase clothing for my self for work wear and casual wear, as well as purchase clothing for my children from old navy. The quality of the clothing is really nice for the price of the clothing. When you sign up for news letters they email you to inform you of any sales going on and secret savings codes. Also, 7 dollar shipping flat rate, that a good deal if you make large purchases. The customer service has been a pleasent experience in exchanging items over the phone....

Great for buying maternity clothes. The return policy is really great when you are not sure what size to order. I loved the selection on maternity clothes.
The only problem I ever had was trying to exchange something for a different size. They gave me a full refund, when it was out of stock, but they sent it back on two different payments, so I had to spend time on the phone with them sorting it out. They made it right in the end.
