My boyfriends mother brought me this one day as a gift. At first I didn't try it....but once I did I will never turn back.

I'm African American thus I have thick, dry, curly hair. I also relax my hair a lot to make it straight. I've never been able to find anything that worked for my hair but Ojon has did just that! I ENCOURAGE any female that is in my situation, sisters of color, or not.. to try this product, you will not be disappointed! It has made my hair appear THICKER, RICHER, SILKY SMOOTH & has helped it GROW! I've seen a lot of people personally complain about the smell but I love it! It has a rich cocoa smell almost like coffee/cinnamon.

The only bad thing I can possibly say about this product is it's expensive and addictive.

I found Ojon to be extreamly impressive, only after I washed it out though. The smell and texture takes some getting used to but it worth it. I am a hug ingredient freak and even though the mask had a few ingredients I would never normally use I had to try it. It worked so well! The best part baout this product is that it doesn't wreck your hair like panteene or clarol or any store bought stuff.

If you know anything about what you slap on your fried ends then you would know that " miracle treatments" from the grocery store are the cuase of your frazzled flyaways. Ojon won't make your hair feel like its silk but over time it helps hold moisture and your hair will be able to do push-ups as you sleep on your pillow at night.

Ojon hair mask is costly for those of us who pick up products and slowly upon exiting we have stashed them behind the milk, diapers and toothpaste isles. A small ( and I mean really small) jar will run you 20 dollars. Go with the bigger one and just...

I bought this at a local beauty store when my hair was damaged beyond repair. It worked ok, but the smell lingered for a while, and it was NOT pleasant. If you don't mind the smell it's ok. The kerastase stuff works a bit better for my taste and money, still has a funky scent but not as bad.

Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment is a super-hydrating mask for dry, dull hair. Use it before shampooing for soft, smooth hair.

It even gave new life and bounce to my old, dry, color treated hair, so it must be good stuff!

I have been eyeballing this on QVC for ages. I have curly hair that is dry and lately been very prone to breakage. I finally ordered one of the starter kits with the small size products. The shampoo and conditioner were nice, I didn't really notice a big improvement with them. I thought they smelled sort of like baby powder. The restorative treatment smelled like most other hot oil type products. Nothing overpowering. I am very smell sensitive and this didn't bother me at all. I used it every week for about 6 weeks and never noticed too much. After I let my hair dry I did like to take a small pea sized amt. and rub it onto my ends. It makes it shiny and tames the frizzies. For the price of this I was hoping for it to do more. It didn't "restore" my hair or do much to change it...

I received samples of the Ojon shampoo, conditioner, and restorative hair treatment and if only it wasn't so expensive, I'd have already ordered full size containers of them all. The restorative hair treatment does smell a bit weird, but in a nut-oil (think walnut oil) kind of way so it was easy to get used to. It made my hair shiny and in combination with the shampoo and conditioner did amazing things with my hair.

I do dye my hair with henna, so I do need some additional conditioning from time to time (despite having a naturally oily scalp) to keep my hair healthy. The restorative hair treatment is perfect for doing just that.I highly recommend this product and the other Ojon products as well.

The whol Ojon line is fantastic but this product is a true hair healer. It can leave your hair a tad greasy if too much is used or it is not washed out enough. However, you hair will feel like silk afterwards. The scent is very "hippie" like, but it is a natural smell that you can be proud of due to the natural ingrediants you are giving your hair. It is costly, but the jar LASTS A LONG LONG TIME, specially if you have shorter hair. This is highly recommended for people with damaged hair. It is sure to help.

Like the first reviewer, mentioned I first purchased Ojon from QVC. I got a trial pack that came with the restorative hair treatment, along with a shampoo and conditioner. I was going through a phase where my naturally curly colored and highlighted hair was more course and breaking a lot.

I actually can't relate to the ashtray scent, I just smell nut and cocoa, almost chocolate but not quite. It is however a unique scent and might take some getting used to for some folks that are scent-sensitive.

I first used the Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment as recommended for 3 minutes prior to washing my hair. You just scoop a small amount, I use about an almond size for my past my shoulder length hair. Rub it between your hands to melt it and smooth it into your hair. Then use the little comb that comes with (use one end to scoop out the product if you don't like to dig your fingers into it) to distribute throughout the hair.
