My mom recommended that I try this OPI Nail Envy when I removed my acrylic nails in an attempt to go more natural and save some money. I was so depressed about it as I had been getting my nails done for years and really enjoyed the polished, manicured look. I put the Nail Envy on, then 2 days later I put on another coat, and then another one 2 days after that. I was AMAZED at the difference in the texture of my nails in just that week! I even went out and bought my own bottle so I could covet this magic polish. Another week later and my nails are still short, as I am growing out the damaged part, but they feel so much harder and are on their way to being beautiful au natural!

I have always loved using nail polishes and color on my nails, but I hate when the nail polish chips or my nails break. This OPI Nail Envy Natural Nail Strengthener is a great product because it really makes my nails stronger and the polish seems to last longer when I used this. I like that the product goes on easy and smooth and doesn't feel like a greasy or oily mess. I first dried and cleaned my nails as instructed and applied one thin coat of the strengthener. The product dried quickly and didn't clump or peel at all. I used this as a basecoat for my OPI nail colors and the polish went on great over the strengthener. After just one use my nails felt stronger, and less brittled. I noticed that my nails weren't breaking as much and they really felt stronger. The solution doesn't have an awful smell and really works to extend my polish wear as well as makes my nails feel great. Love this product. I had weak nails that constantly peeled and broke. not anymore!! Not only does this strengthen and protect it has a beautiful shine! Dries fast too! Love oPI!

Last year, I managed to kick my nail biting habit for good, but since I had been biting my nails since childhood they were an absolute mess. When I happened across OPI Nail Envy Natural Nail Strengthener, I knew I had to give it a shot.

My poor nails were thin, brittle and prone to splits and breakage. Within two weeks of using this product, my nails were noticeably stronger. I was amazed! After one month, my nails were much longer than they've ever been and didn't peel or break as frequently as they used to.

Since then, I've used the product on and off for over 6 months and am still just as happy with the results. I finally have my nails where I want them to be, and had it not been for OPI Nail Strengthener I don't think I ever would have been able to repair the years of damage my nails have endured.

I FOUND THIS PRODUCT AMAZING. IT IS A LITTLE ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE BUT IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS ON MY DRY, BRITTLE NAILS. I HIGHLY RECOMMED THIS PRODUCT.

I treated myself for a manicure a while ago. I explained to the girl the problem that I had with my nails being soft, easy to break and chip. I explained that I have bought a number of nail hardener from different companies and that I wasn't happy with any of them. I found that the product once applied sat on the nail and I eventually picked the stuff off. When picking the hardener off I was also taking the top layer of my nail with it, causing my nails to be soft.
The product that the manicurist used was O.P.I. nail strengthener. I bought the nail strengthener and I have been very pleased with the results. When I applied the O.P.I nail straightener it soaks into the nails, it doesn't sit on top of the nail. My nails are harder and they no longer chip or break that easily. I have recommended O.P.I. nail straightener to many of my friends who recommend it to their friends. Word of mouth does go a long way with this product. It is great.

I was a terrible nail biter-down to the nub, until there was blood. When I tried to stop, my nails were as flimsy as wax paper. I used one bottle of Nail Envy- put it on every other day and have never had a problem since. That was almost 10 years ago!! I swear by it and tell everyone. I use it as base & top coat, if needed, & it's fantastic. It only takes seconds to dry, too!...

I've had problems with dry nails, this stuff does the trick, my nails don;t chip anymore and as long as I use OPI nail colors, I find I have better luck with keeping nail polish on over it. It does strengthen my nails and they tend to grow a bit longer and stronger more quickly. ...

I have weak nails that often break. Just as I get them all one length, one will break and, slowly, they will all end up chipped or broken and I cut them to the quick and start over.

Sally Hansen is the brand I usually look to for nail strengtheners but I decided to go with OPI Nail Envy Natural Nail Strengthener, Soft & Thin this time.

My Use

I have been using this for around a month. I applied the strengthener as directed to my clean, dry nails. The finish is matte and makes for a good base coat. It dries extremely quickly and then I can apply colored polish, clear topcoat, or nothing at all.

I really don't apply the product every other day, more like every few days. Still, I have noticed two things.

One is that my nails are harder. They don't bend and break as often and they seem stronger. They were so weak that they literally would bend when I pressed a button or whatever. Now they don't do that. They still break and things but they have improved.
