I enjoy going to the O'Hare Airport. It is nice that you can take the Limo bus to the airport. The limo bus carries people to each major airlines. Because the limo bus works in the airports, most people will never get lost in the airlines and they can find the airline that they are traveling with easier. It is a specially designed airport. It is actually beautiful in the way that it is designed.

It is also nice that the O'Hare airport offers great restaurants. It offers some great restaurants and it great the way the restaurants are designed. I always enjoy going to eat at the restaurants.

Also, the O'Hare airport has the Hilton Hotel in the airport. It is great that people can have a hotel to go to if they miss their airplane or if they are delayed in the airport. Every airport should have a hotel nearby. The hotel is convenient.

The O'Hare Airport is one of my favorite airports in the United States. It is nice the way that it is arranged.

I have flown through numerous airports, and Chicago O'Hare is one of my favorites. There are lots of different choices for resturants and there are normally some interesting exibits to entertain you while you wait for your next flight. I have had fewer problems with delays then some other airports (like Atlanta). There are lost of places to sit and it doesn't take forever to get through security. The customs set up is one of the better ones I've gone through. If I am choosing between two flights of about equal price and times, one through O'Hare and one through another airport, I will almost always pick the one through O'Hare.
...

NYCReviewer says "Delay is almost inevitable" about O'Hare Airport - multiple airlines

Expect to be delayed at O'Hare. That way if things work out, you'll be pleasantly surprised. However, on-time is the exception rather than the rule. However, if you are delayed arriving, your connecting flight is probably equally delayed departing (the smaller the plane the more likely -- and longer -- the delay).

As a frequent international traveler, my biggest gripe is International arrivals. Baggage claim can take forever (I've missed connections that I should easily have made) and, if you arrive at just the right (wrong!!!) time, it can take quite a while to get through immigration. Then, of course, you have to transfer outside to the monorail to get to your ongoing flight. A real pain. I'll take JFK or DFW over ORD anyday (unfortunately, I often don't have that option)

For those of us who fly American Airlines (AA), the Admirals Clubs are nice and the staff there can be most accomodating, Since this is one of AA's two main hubs, the airport is set-up to make things...
...

In my opinion, Ohare is very easy to navigate, but then again, I'm from the Chicago surrounding area. The food and drink vendors are everywhere so you don't have to go far for what you need....

I have been through O'Hare too many times to count in the last 25 years. It is a great airport if you are not on a rushed shedule. A nice place to lay over and feel like you are in a little city but a horror if you are trying to get through it to make another connection....

The terminals are too big, too confusing, line at security are too long, there is always new construction going on in the lobbies which make locating your airline more difficult. Like most airports they need to get rid of the carts in the concourse selling learn a foriegn language tapes which just block the paths in and out of the gates....

I personally don't like this airport. I've also been personally stranded there. It is a busy hub so if you can avoid it- avoid it. Everytime I've been through this hub, my flight is always delayed. In fact, I was once stranded in Chicago for a night. It is busy and there are a lot of planes flying in and out of here. The airport isn't that updated either. I am a frequent flyer and this airport doesn't mean my standards. Be prepared for lines and also pack something if you don't want to buy food at the airport. ...

Overall the airport is VERY good, but it is SOO big. If you get delayed on your way there and/or find your flight has been made earlier or you're coming from oversea's on a connecting flight etc. it can take FOREVER to get to your gate! Especially with security the way it is now, you really need to get there 2 HOURS before your flight is due to take off just incase. Better to be way too early than just a few minutes late or REALLY late.

The only problem i've had there is when we have been delayed on the way and arrived too late...we were running through trying to find our gate, EVENTUALLY found someone in one of those cars to get us to the gate faster, he couldn't go paost a certain point so had to then get another guy who he'd called to wait for us there. We were still 5 minutes late for the flight so then had to wait another 4 or 5 hours. They were very good and gave us a couple of coupons...but the food was SO expensive that it was only enough for a plate of fries each in the end. If...
...

I love Chicago! Their airport leaves nothing to be desired. It's huge, has a ton of restaurants to offer. It would be nice if there were more stores actually in the airport, but other than that it's fabulous. I also am biased to the city of Chicago in general, but the airport just helps the city!...

I spent 16 hours in this airport as a minor. After my plane was late flying in, I missed my connection flight. All other flights were cancelled. They had my sister and I, walking from one terminal to another. It was completely riddiculous. We werent given any food vouchers and had no money, so we had to rely on the kindness of random strangers to give us a few bucks for food. We didnt encounter many nice employees. However there was this nice lady that was going to let us stay at her place if we couldnt get out that night. Overall, unless you are an airport junky, do not attempt this airport. Too many complications, horrible layout, and they dont take good care of minors....

I fly into O'Hare alot and thankfully, I've never had any problems. Yes, you have to arrive early to go thru security, but since Sept. 11th, that's probably the case at most airports. I check in online 24 hrs. early, so I skip that hassle at the airport. I get there, find my gate and sit and wait to board. I know the routine by now, so getting thru security hasn't been bad. I have my shoes off, clear bag of 3 oz. bottles in hand and I go right thru. Happy traveling!...
