Nutro, and Natural Choice in particular, is a great food that I've used for my dog and cats for some time now. In addition to having a wide range of protein choices (chicken, beer, venison, herring, lamb), Natural Choice is all natural and each kind benefits your pet in a different way. If your pet has a sensitive stomach, try venison or herring. If it has dry skin, go for the lamb. The price is reasonable too compared with other premium foods. The number one thing I noticed when I first put my dog Sebastian on Nutro was that within a week of making the switch, he had a smaller, firmer stool, which as the owner of a big dog, made a TON of difference to me.
...

Bargainhunter22 says "Beautiful coats and compact stools" about Nutro Natural Choice

Our Cairn Terrier (9 yrs) and Welsh Corgi (3 yrs) have "dined" on Nutro since they were puppies. Because both dogs have are prone to tummy upset they enjoy the Nutro for sensitive stomachs. I have occasionally tried other brands of dog food to save a few dollars and always return to Nutro because the dogs are happier and healthier.

I do not enjoy scooping or bagging dog waste- Nutro makes this task almost bearable because the droppings remain compact and keeps this task to a minimum.

Both dog's coats are shiny and neither has ever had a problem with itching, flaking or excessive shedding. I attribute this fact, at least in part, to Nutro. The product has risen in price since we first started using it, but the benefits to the animals far outweigh the escalated price. Our vet has commented that both dogs have exceptional coats and skin and are very well nourished.
...

lighthowz says "Best product out there to change a dogs fur from scruff to satin" about Nutro Natural Choice

My dogs previous family had been a strictly lowest budget dog food buyer before we acquired her. She is a chocolate lab and as a result of the poor quality dog food, her fur was disgusting with a ruff of dead straw feeling hair around her neck. The rest of her body was almost as bad, it wasn't even the right color for her breed. We started gradually feeding her Nutro Natural Choice for adult large dogs, chicken and rice flavor (she is allergic to the lamb and rice) twice daily. After about 4-5 months all of her old dead hair had completely shed out and was replaced by the sleekest, shiniest coat I have ever seen. She stopped acting like she was starved all the time and left the trash alone. All we did was feed her totally on this brand food, without any supplement's or medications. She also eats less (about 3 cups a day) and has more than half of the waste she previously had which makes for a more pleasant front yard! ;)
...

My dogs love all kinds of Nutro Natural choice. It is a little high priced...but I guess thats the price you pay for happy dogs. Nutro has so many different types of foods, for all types of dogs (puppies, older dogs, high energy dogs, foods to improve dogs coats, foods to help with sensitive stomachs, etc). We use the one for the large breed's because it contains glucosamine for their joints. They like it and eat it all once it is set down in front of them (something they dont do with other brands).
...

My dog is a 3 year old German Sherphard. He has a sensitive stomach. I feed him Iams dog dry food. He vomits a few times a week, and he has diarrhea often. I spent lots of money to send him to Vet. Half a year ago, I changed to a good Vet. The Vet introduced me Netro dry food for sensitive stomach diet. My dog didn't see Vet since then.

Netro charges higher than Iams dog food. But it actually saved me lots of money to visit Vet.

Thank you, Netro Natural Choice.

Don't be fooled by their advertising. I put my rescued, old great dane on this food. Her coat was aweful and she had horrible arthritis. After 2 months of being on this food, NOTHING improved. They also lie in their advertising. Plus, their ash content is too high which is a health risk.
They also lie about by-products. By-products mean organs and ground-up bones (in order for the term "by-product" to be listed in the ingredient panel, they can NOT contain feet, beaks, and other non-nutritional parts of the animal which is what Nutro claims they are.) By-products are a natural source of glucosamine and so forth. Look at the Nutro and the brands that advertise that they don't have by-products. They have tons of supplements at the bottom of the ingredient list. I think we all know how supplements are not as good as the real source. Also, when a wolf hunts an animal, they go straight for the organs and eat the bones. Don't be fool by advertising. They are, after all,......

I have 2 Big Rottwielers (spoiled rottenweilers). They both love the Nutro food. We use the large dog version, that has extra joint support minerals. Everyone always comments on how beautiful there skin and fur looks. Very shiny and thick. When one dog had to go on special food for a period of time, due to an illness- I could really see a difference in her coat. Once she was back on the nutro formula, her coat ws beautiful again. Thanks NUtro

...

I have spent so much time, money, and effort into finding a dog food that agrees with my dog's sensitive stomach. He's also a very picky dog. But Nutro finally solved our problems. He tolerates all the Nutro products, but I have found that the product for sensitive stomachs works the best. He has a history of pancreatitis and since starting to use Nutro for sensitive stomachs, he hasn't had one episode of that painful disease. What a relief for both of us. I get to save on vet bills by sticking with Nutro and my dog gets a great tasting nutritional dog food!
...

Nutro products are so great for my dog. They have a wide variety and my dog loves the taste. She has a sensitive stomach so we feed her a special line that allows her to enjoy snacks with an upset stomach afterwards. Also, a great value and they often have coupons and free samples at various pet stores around town. You can also get them online at many retailers. I mainly buy the treats but my dog loves the food as well. My dog has an amazing coat after eating Nutro so I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a great looking and healthy dog.
...

Nutro Natural Choice is a great pet food for your dog if you are looking something high quality at a price lower than "prescription" dog food. It has very little filler so what you see is what you get! When you are first switching to the product, you have to go slowly or else your pet with have major digestive problems, but that is the same with any change in diet. To gradually introduce them, you add a little bit (maybe a cup?) of food into their current food for a day or two, watch how the animal reacts, and if it's good, add another cup to their food next time. You slowly increase the amount of new food, and decrease the amount of old food. You do this until your animal has fully switched. This is better on their digestive tract and allows their body to get used to it right away. This also helps conquer the gas part of switching too fast.

The truth of the matter is, with Nutro Natural Choice, your animal eats less because there is less filler taking up the place of natural ingredients....
...
