I am 77 years old, have rhuematoid arthritis and heart problems and am limited in what excerises I can do. It was imperitive that I lose weigth and I tried nearly everything without success, until I tried Nutrisystem. I have lost 32 pounds in less than four months, am never hungry and love being able to have so many chocolate goodies. My doctor has already cut my blood pressure medicine in half. I feel so much better. I have nothing but good things to say about this product.

I had gained some weight about 2 years ago and was having problems motivating myself on my own to stick to a diet. I was to the point that I had to do something, though. I heard the NutriSystem ads on TV and it sounded like it would be convenient. I ordered the meals because they had a promotion to get a month of free food. When it arrived, I couldn't wait to try it. There were some of the meals that I liked and some that I did not. There were some muffins that I just could not eat, so I called NutriSystem and they said they would replace them free of charge. I thought that was great! I lost 7 pounds the first month! I then used NutriSystem for 2 more months and lost about another 7 pounds. After that, I thought I could do it on my own and was honestly tired of the food. I did stay with it and lost more weight. I also started exercising and running.

The NutriSystem program does work if you follow it as they suggest. I takes the guess work and planning out of dieting. I think it is good...

I was on Nutrisystem for awhile and at first the food is pretty good. There are some menu items that are very bad tasting though, and I dreaded eating them. While I was on the plan I had very bad stomach pains and upset stomach and after going off it my gall bladder failed and I needed to have it removed. (Note - it could be related or it could not be, I am not making a statement either way).

Overall some of the items are good, it gets to be a hassle and you still have to eat your own food along with it so if you're thinking you're getting an all in one cheap meal solution that's great tasting, I'd say...no.

I was caught off guard when the big box of Nutrisystem meals arrived for the first time about 8 months ago. However, skeptical me was really pleasantly surprised upon eating the first entree, Ravioli with meat sauce. It was good. Even better is the site offers chat and 1800 support 24/7 with no need to go weigh in. I don't have time to "weigh in" as other programs require. The plan focuses on relearning common sense eating. For me, it has been the answer that I needed as a busy mom with not much time to myself. This is a great program and way to get back on track.

On August 11, 2009, I started the Nutrisystem Men's Diabetic 28 Day Plan. Since then I have had great success with the program. In the first month I lost 25 lbs. As of November 11, 2009, I have dropped 40.1 lbs. I started doing this program when my doctor was going to put me on high cholesterol medication. In August 2009 I had a total cholestoral reading of 212 in November 2009 I dropped it to 163. That is nearly 50 point drop in 3 months. I my doctor was very pleased. I am not a diabetic but decided that program since it is more restrictive than the regular program and figured I would get even better results. There are quite of few people who write horrible reviews about Nutrisystem. I really don't see why. With results like I have had you can't expect the food to be as good as the food that caused you to become overweight. Food = Fuel, people in America have forgotten this fact and use food as pleasure and thus most people in America are overweight.

I need things to be simple and easy...

I was a bit skeptic at first about using Nutrisystem. I didn't know anybody that had tried it. All I was going from was the commercials. I decided to do the diabetic versions because I have insulin resistance due to Polycystic Ovaries.

The first month I lost 14 lbs. The most weight I had lost with any other diet combined. To compare meal plans, the second month I switched to the women's basic plan. I didn't lose anymore weight. So I was able to prove to myself that all of the research I had done, the best diet for me was a diabetic diet/Low GI diet. The Nutrisystem plan uses the glycemic index.

The only thing is, you kind of get sick of eating the same foods month after month. By the end of the second month you pretty much know which foods you like and dislike. Plus it can become costly after two or three months.

I would recommend this diet to jumpstart weightloss. Most people only do this diet for a few months though. I only did two months because that's all...

Nutrisystem works great, the only problem is you starve on it. I makes you hungry all day. If you can handle hunger pains all day, especially at night, then its a great diet. I lost 40 pds, and i would try to loose another 15 to be at my goal if I could, another problem is it is really expensive. So overall I didn't mind being hungry, and it was the only diet I found to work, after years of failing at other diets.

The NutriSystem weight loss program really does work! I've been on the Women's Plan for about 4 months now and have seen significant results. Starting at 210 pounds, i'm currently down to 181 pounds. That's almost 30 pounds lost! I do not do "fat-free" dressing on my salads (Can't stand them), instead i substitute low-fat dressings. The meals are actually very tasty and i haven't had any digestive problems at all. There are of course some meals that i do not care for, but the great thing is - you can order whatever you want! I don't have to eat meatloaf if i don't want to - i can have lasagna instead! The plan is so easy to follow, anyone can do it. No weighing meat or measuring out tons of ingredients. Great for someone like me who's always on the go! I don't have to think about what i'm going to eat all day, and for me that helps to nip cravings and temptations in the bud. I've had great success with this program and would highly recommend it to anyone who is seriously committed to weight...

I tried this diet YEARS ago a was very successful- I lost about 40 puonds. The meals were very good and the portions were just right. When I was on it, I was a single person, so I could afford the cost. Now that I'm a married mother, it probably wouldn't be affordable since i would have to cook for my family as well. It is definately worth the money to get you back to controlling your life, though! Nutri Ststem is very convienient. The food comes right to your door. After you finish, you will have control over your eating habits, know the importance of portion control, and also be in a maintenance program to help along the way.

I tried the Nutrisystem program after many attempts at other diet programs had failed. I stuck with it for about 2 months. I learned SO much from the program that after two months, I was ready to do it on my own. I have lost 80 pounds and even through spinal surgery and back problems and not being able to exercise, I haven't gained any back! I really want to stress the importance of what this program can teach you. It's a life long change, not a diet and it's fantastic!! Some of the food leaves something to be desired. But you can find different recipes to doctor it up and I loved most of my meals! I would recommend this to anyone...if I can do it...you can too!!

I had spent the previous two years trying all kinds of diets and exercise plans. I could keep my weight steady on them but never lost any. I had all but given up on diets until my mom showed me the Nutrisystem. I was on it for only two months and by four months I had lost 20 pounds. It is the greatest system. Most of the foods are good. The main thing that I liked the most about this program is that it teaches you how to eat so that when you eventually get off the plan (because you dont have to continue indefinatly) you dont gain all the weight back. This is amazing and I would reccommend it to everyone.

The Nutrisystem diet plan will make you lose weight. I lost 10 lbs the first month I was on the plan, which I was very happy with. The key to the plan is that you are eating about 1000 to 1200 calories a day. Personally I would rather count my calories and lose the weight instead of subjecting myself to prepackaged, vacuum sealed foods that don't have to be refridgerated (I had a huge issue with meat that you stored in your cupboard).

By the second month I couldn't take the food anymore. I will admit that I am a picky eater, but I can usually just pick out the things I don't like. Most of the food has some sort of sauce on it, supposively to make it taste better. The sauces were disgusting, even the tomato sauce which is very hard to make taste bad. It ended up that the only foods I liked were the breakfast foods, most of them were good. For me I like the taste of food too much to be on plan like this for very long.

When you do the plan you are buying packaged food...

this nutrisystem is not a good diet i wouldn't recommend this diet to anyone because the food don't fill you up you are alway still hungry a few people i know told me the same exact thing that they would'nt recommend anyone for this diet either they also said they expected more from what the commercial was say i tried it and did'nt like it

I liked the convenience of Nutrisystems because there was no measuring and no refrigeration necessary. I used it while I was living in graduate housing and didn't have access to a full kitchen. I didn't lose much weight, probably because I didn't follow the program for more than a month. I didn't care for the taste of many of the items so I ended up with a lot of waste. If I used this product again I would hand select the items and choose only ones that I know I would like. I've found that I can recreate a similar diet just by careful choices from the grocery store and portion control.
