If you haven't tried Nutella, the hazelnut spread you need to run, not walk to put it on your shopping list. It is the most amazingly delicious treat. It hits the spot when you're having a chocolate craving, whether you spread it on toast, bagels, crepes, croissants or even just got for it right out of the jar with a spoon.

Unfortunately it's high in calories and fat, but what is life without a little splurging right? It's a great treat once in a while or for guests and holidays.

I grew up in Europe and we had Nutella in the house all the time. So I was thrilled to find it available here now too! Unfortunately it's a little expensive, but I use it more sparingly so it goes a long way.

The flavor of hazelnuts comes through the rich chocolate beautifully and is totally addictive! I love it on bread, bananas, cookies, crepes and pandcakes, crackers or just on it's own by the spoonful. It's best kept a bit on the cool side, since the oil can separate out if it's too warm, but it lasts a long time in the jar and keeps it's texture very well. It's also a great asset in baking and candy making, lending a real creamy richness to anything you add it to. It's not too sweet and can be used either hot or cold for a variety of applications.

As far as nutrition goes, it is rather high in calories (200 per 2 TBS), but that can be expected of any nutty food, and on the plus side has all the calcium of skim milk, fiber and protein similar to peanut butter. Perhaps not a food to...

This is one great tasting product! With no artificial colors or preservatives, the calorie count is the same as peanut butter, but the chocolate taste really satisfies a chocaholic! It spreads incredibly smooth, and the hazelnut taste is great. It's a little more expensive than peanut butter, but worth it for a treat now and then! I just love it!

Ok, before starting this review, I had never eaten Nutella. I'm not much for nuts or chocolate, so the combination doesn't appeal to me. But my family LOVES it. My children request Nutella sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Still, I figured i'd have to give it a try myself to feel right about reviewing it.

It was too much chocolate for my taste, but I can appreciate why people like it. To me, Nutella tastes like a hot chocolate spread. Nutella is an alternative to cream cheese, peanut butter, or jelly for your bagels, muffins, toast, or sandwiches.

We average 2.5 jars a month and about as many loaves of bread. Nutella has replaced peanut butter and jelly for my kids. My son has used it on his celery as well. My 2-year-old has invented what I think is a new way to eat bread. She eats the center (the part with the Nutella on it of course) and leaves the crust and edges. If you're not a chocolate lover, Nutella may not be the right spread for you. If you are...

I have been wanting to try Nutella for a while after seeing it advertised on TV. Well, my husband got a chance to eat it at work and raved about it. So I had to get some once I heard how good it was.

Nutella is a delicious spread made with hazelnuts, skim milk, cocoa and a few other ingredients. It can be used for all sorts of foods. Some of the suggestions given on the jar are bagels, bread, english muffins, waffles, toast and croissants. Nutella can be used on anything that you want. I personally have only tried it on bread instead of the old PB&J sandwich, minus the jelly and it is so good. You can definitely taste the hazelnuts and chocolate. Honestly I think it has a little too much cocoa but it's still great.

Ah man this is so addicting!!!! It's amazing. The hazelnut flavor is out of this world. This on anything is really delicious. On bananas blue berries, muffins, and on a spoon etc. Oh my I just don't know how to rave about this heaven sent spread.

Nutella is one of the few spreadable treats that truly has unlimited uses. Whether straight out of the jar, spread on toast, fruit dipped or sandwiched between cookies, it shines. A much healthier alternative to straight chocolate and more palatable than peanut butter, Nutella is a great alternative to both.

I can't say enough good things about Nutella. It's smooth, creamy and super chocolatey. My favorite way to use Nutella is to spread it on 2 pieces of sliced pound cake. Add a layer of strawberries on one of the pieces and sandwich the 2 slices together. Place it in a panini press and cook. It's amazing. You can use Nutella in any recipe that you would chocolate to give it a sophisticated flair. I usually keep a jar in my pantry at all times. It's good for dipping graham crackers, strawberries or your fingers!!!

Nutella is a a delicious chocolate and hazelnut spread similar to the consistency of peanut butter. It is delicious for breakfast, lunch, dessert and snacks. Some of my favorite ways to eat Nutella are on toast, fruit and melted on top of ice cream. Honestly, I eat it right off the spoon sometimes.

I was first introduced to Nutella while abroad visiting a friend in Germany. I have to say it was one of the lasting memories of the trip. It's been almost 10 years and I have been eating it ever since.

I've introduced Nutella to countless friends and family, everyone who I know who has every tried it loves it. I don't think I have met anyone yet who didn't like it.

It cost roughly around $3 to $4 but is well worth the expense. If you love chocolate and nuts you will love Nutella. It is like eating a chocolate hazelnut candy bar, except that you can spread it on anything your heart desires. It is sold in most grocery stores, so is not an exotic product by any means.

if you like peanut butter, chocolate, hazelnuts or just things that taste good, nutella is for you. you will want to bathe in it and spread it on everything around you. it costs a bit more than peanut butter but, in my opinion is worth it. and I am broke. maybe these things are connected? hm. the british ASA made ferrero change their ads, as they thought saying Nutella was part of a 'balanced breakfast' was Misleading. pfft.

The five star rating barely covers it! Is is good for you? Hardly, but taste alone is worth every possibility of a decline in your health. Nutella is a mainstay and widely used in European homes and restaurants, and I discovered it in Italy of all places as it adorns breakfast tables throughout the country. I was hesitant to try it at first glance, but after I opened it's enticing little packet, spread it upon my crescent, and tasted it for the first time, it was all over. I was hooked. At that moment, I became a Nutella junkie, forsaking all other spreads, and overjoyed with my impending addiction to the now beloved substance. The hell with Italy, where could I get more Nutella!

Back in America, trying to deal with my Nutella withdrawal and all of it's symptoms, the wanting, the longing for that creamy chocolate hazelnut wonderment, the depression of wondering what existence would be like in a Nutella deprived reality, then a miracle happened. While wandering through...

I love this stuff. I saw an episode of food network with making cookies out of Nutella and I had to get another jar for crepes as well.

I love it and it's highly addictive. Very good

I like to take crepes and spread it on with some strawberries and whipped creme.

I absolutely love Nutella! If you are a fan of hazelnut and chocolate then this is the product for you! I mostly eat it from the jar with a spoon! It's good for breakfast on a croissant. I have also filled wonton wrappers with Nutella and fried them up for a warm treat. You can find other recipes on the food network website....
