Facinating twist on your typical crime drama, and having the hero be a mathamatician has got to be a great role model for the younger generation! The characters and acting are beleviable, likeable and interesting, and the addition of the math component to crime solving makes Numbers a great show!
...

I have always been in awe of people who could think in mathmatical terms. While I was a straight A math student in college, I always knew that my grades were a result of my ability to memorize things on a short-term basis, cram for my exam and regurgitate all that I had memorized.

Never was this so apparent than during my very brief membership in the college math club. Frankly, I had only the vaguest notion of what the other members were talking about. I did however envy their ability to think in ways that seemed so foreign to me.

And so it is with Numb3rs, CBS' hit crime show.

David Krumholtz plays Charlie Eppes, a mathmatics genius and professor who regularly lends his analytical talents to his FBI agent brother, Don, played by Rob Morrow (Northern Exposure).

Charlie has no problem in seeing the crime in mathmatical terms. What may be more amazing is he convinces us, the audience, that he can see it. To make things even better, Charlie isn't a complete nerd. Actually, he's pretty...
...
