ok, my phone gets manipulated by a toddler and has been dropped a few times.

But in less than 6 months, I already had to change the motherboard (who just randomly stopped working), and now, the front cover is loose and falls off all the time and the phone is getting in and out of "SIM card registration failed" throughout the day (without having to even touch it), making my phone unusable during those periods.

I wouldn't call that a durable phone. May be if you leave it on your beside table and never carry it around...

but I am kind of clumbsy and have dropped it on hard surfaces numerous times and it still workd fine. It does have a camera but I have not yet mastered it or maybe it just does not take great pictures. but I mainly just use it for communication anyway. I would definetley reccommend it,...

the Nokia 6085 is an okay phone. But it keeps dropping calls no matter what I am doing. Such making a call or if I try to call someone who is in the store, while I am sitting in the car. It rings through to their phone; they answer; then the call gets dropped.

This phone needs to be updated or just taken off the market and not refurbished at all.

I bought the Nokia 6085 phone simply because my other phone had been damaged, and I needed a new phone quickly. I walked into the AT&T store, and told the sales person that I wanted the cheapest phone they had. He showed me the phone and I bought it. Then, I started to play! I found out that this phone has a voice recorder, and so I am able to record something (like my child singing) and I can then make it a ring tone! It takes short videos, and I am able to take decent photographs with it. It is a very durable phone - I have dropped it numerous times, and have had no problems with it. The speakerphone is a little less than stellar, but is still pretty good. The only major complaint that I have about it is that it tends to have a delay when you are wanting to do anything on it. I press a button, and there is a 5 second delay before it will take me to the menu, or to a sub-menu. It starts to get annoying after a while. I purchased my Nokia 6085h directly from an AT&T store back in September 2008.

I didn't have any problems with my phone until the end of January 2009 (appx. 4 months later). I noticed my phone's screen started to blink when I had the phone flipped open. I took the battery pack out, let it sit for awhile, but when I put everything back in operation it did the same thing.

A month later, the blinking increased including hitting the Menu button to go to the menu, and the screen would turn blue. I would have to wait for my menu to reappear, sometimes as long as 5 minutes. Other times, I would hit a button, and my screen image would flip upside down and backwards with lines across it.

My phone has never been dropped or has ever gotten wet.

I contacted AT&T and Nokia about the issue, and they said that it is a common issue. Neither one of them would fix it, replace it, nor tell me how I could fix it/have it fixed.

I have dealt with it for awhile, but I am purchasing a replacement...

The main problem that I have had with this phone is that the smart chip has been continuously failing to register lately. This will be the third time I've had to have the phone serviced in a year....

i have use this phone fro two years , it is very easy to use and very durable. may be this is Nokia phone's best advantage,and also the camera feature is easy to access and easy to upload. i llove Nokia phone. I bought this at Tradestead two years ago , it works very good , without any problem , untile now. i like it very much!

If you need to get a cheap phone because yours broke and you have a couple months before your contract is up then Nokia - 6085 is a really cheap phone and its works great. keeps it simple if your looking for a phone that can make calls and text. I'm pretty sure the camera is pretty nice too. if you drop the phone its doesn't hurt it that much and lasts for over a year. good teenage phone cuz of the durability....

I love the features that it offers! The only bad thing about it is that the memory is very low. You have to spend almost $30 to up grade and buy a memory card for it....

I have been using a cell phone for about 10 years. I know of the many problems a consumer can experience when they are not using a quality phone. Currently, I am on my 6th Nokia phone, having tried 3 other brands in between. Nokia is by far the most dependable and durable phone I have ever bought. The phone I am using at this time is a Nokia model #6085 and like the other Nokia phones I've purchased, it certainly does not disappoint. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone! ...

Nokia 6085 cell phone . I love this phone. I recently got this phone as a free upgrade . It is really hard to find a cood cell phone. It is easy to use and i lke the fact you can get a data card and can store alot of info and always have it at your fingertips. I also like that you can store pictures of you contacts so when they call you can see the picture of who is calling you . I rate this phone outstanding.

I just purchased this and for the most part I am happy with it. I have 3 complaints. The first is I have to buy the earbuds for this phone. The second, is the difficulty in finding things in the menu. And the last, a few sorry ringtonescame with the phone. For the price we pay for the phones, I think they could give us better options for ringtones and more.

I love this phone, Nokia 6085. I do have trouble with some of the options that it has. But over all it performs great! I never have trouble with reception. I highly recommend it!!! My only complaint and the reason why I didn't give it a 5th star is the battery life is not so great, but all in all the phone is fantastic!
