Rising gas prices forced me to trade my beloved SUV. As a single mom of a small child that was a difficult thing to do. Upon sitting in the 2008 Nissan Sentra I knew I had found the right car for me. It is a small car, but it is roomy inside none the less. There is a good amount of room in the trunk, it has a large glove compartment and a nice storage area in the arm rest. It is a well built, excellent running car. I am most pleased with it. I will admit that it is a small car and doesn't have all the frills I had hoped to have at my age, but you certainly aren't paying for them either. Good price, great car. My gas mileage is 27-28mpg so I have no complaints there. I highly recomend this vehicle.
...

JovialCougar says "Sporty, Economical, and Dependable: 2008 Nissan Sentra" about Nissan Sentra - 2008

When I bought a new car this year I wanted something that got good gas mileage (gas was $3.99/Gallon at the time), but not a tin-can on wheels. I also wanted a car that had a better-than-average repair record and decent styling. After lots of shopping around I settled on the 2008 Nissan Sentra SL, and have been satisfied with my choice.

The 2008 Nissan Sentra looks like a scaled-down Nissan Altima, which is more appealing looking than most Sentras produced since the car debuted 25 years ago. The front-end has a rather large-looking sloping hood and the headlight/side-blinker combination wraps up on top somewhat. The windshield is quite wide and extends over the top of your view out the front.

The rear window is noticeably smaller and meets a short rear deck where the trunk provides a square back end framed with vertical tail lights. The radio's antenna is affixed just above the rear window on the roof, and the sides are rather flat with only a minimal of flare around the wheel wells. I think...
...

After price comparisons at many different dealers, we found the most for our money at Nissan with the Sentra. For the same price of the base models of other cars, we were able to get all the "bells & whistles" on our new Sentra...

I recently purchased a brand new 2008 Nissan Sentra. I went the extra step and also upgraded to include the convenience package, sunroof, and alloy wheels. I am extremely happy and fully satisfied with my choice. Here are some great feautres:

Convenience Package: keyless entry, keyless start, CVT automatic transmission, blue-tooth enabled from the steering wheel

Storage: the glove compartment is huge, it even fits a laptop. There is also a center console that adds additional storage. The cup holders are adjustment to fit basically any size drink. The trunk also features a special hidden compartment for objects you want to keep inside at all times

Gas mileage: averages about 24 city and 33 highway, right on what manufacturer predicts. Also features a large gas tank, approximately 13 gallons so fill-ups are long lasting.

Overall, I think of this car as a steal. It's affordable, with great luxuries and conveience features. The only thing I would change is where the...
...

dritchie76 says "Budget friendly, cute, and fun features without the price." about Nissan Sentra - 2008

I got the 2008 Nissan Sentra after beating my old 1994 car into the ground. I commute 2 hours round trip to work through the city and back to the burbs. I wanted a budget friendly car that I didn't have to compromise on. I found Nissan. i looked origianlly at the Altima, nice, great features and still affordable, but when I tested it out and then tested the Sentra I fell in love with the Sentra. For over $4000 less on the base model I got the same performance feel, better seat comfort ( important since I have early arthritis ) and a much smaller monthly payment.

I have a dog, so I didn't go with the higher model with leather seats. I have the 2.0. I still have a bunch of bells and whistles, and I am so happy with the safety system also. My favorite feature is the trip info. I can see how many miles I can go until I am out of gas. Great when you want to either look for a better price, or go to that little station you know is 10 cents cheaper, but 20 miles away but still on your way......
