In 2006, I was 23 years old. i traded in a Mustang for a Quest because I had just gotten married and inheirited 2 step daughters. They could not fit in the mustang very well so I decided that it was time to become the adult. I was looking at all different types of minivans and the only one that i love enough to trade in the Mustang was the Quest. It doesn't look like the typical "minivan" either. It has a more future-istic look to it rather than the dodge caravan look. I don't like that look and we looked at a lot of them. The quest though was my favorite and I am still driving it and I love it. It gets really good gas mileage (better than the mustang) and it is very safe.
...

forlino says "Still like Nissan even though I got one with a lot of problems" about Nissan Quest - 2006

I have had 2 Nissan vehicles prior to this and have been very, very satisfied with them. I still like Nissan vehicles even though my Nissan Quest has had a lot of problems. I think I got the one with a lot of quirks. New compressor, catalytic converter and shifting motor in the first year. I have the PAX tire system and I only got 17,000 miles out of them. I am glad to have the safety of the tire system I just wish they would last longer. Also the brakes need to be replaced and rotors turned every year. The brakes don't seem to be durable enough for this vehicle. After 2 years the number of times it is in the shop is decreasing.

Overall I do like the Quest - the size is great and it drives nicely.
...

crmc says "Completely disappointed!" about Nissan Quest - 2006

I have been completely disappointed with my Quest. Things are constantly going wrong. The 3 passenger doors all had to be taken apart becasue they wouldn't open properly - ever since then they've made an annoying rattling sound. The light is always coming on saying I have a flat tire but the tire's fine. It's got the worst turning radius of any car I've ever driven. My Suburban was easier to park! The dvd player is in a location that's just about impossible to access from anywhere but the driver's seat - and then you've got to pull over & have the flexibility of a yogi to see what's going on with the thing. It's big inside, the gear shift console is cool looking and the automatic door feature is nice. (Though why aren't both back doors automatic?) In the way back the flimsy storage box covers collapse whenever any weight gets put on them. In short - it's the last Nissan I'll buy (it's the third we've had). The quality has gone down, the service is impossible - the parts are always on back......

2006 Nissan quest

When looking at mini vans the Quest stood out above all the other vans for stylish

looks, appeal and cost. The nissan quest had several seating options to select from!

Depending on where you are at with your family when it comes to ages and seating, the

quest gave you choices. We have three children in various age categories and it was

very easy to select one bench seat and two captains chairs when purchasing. The

dvd player and headsets on any long trips are more enjoying. You as a driver can listen

to music or whatever while the others watch a movie. The headsets are great because

you do not have to worry about the volume, each headset adjusts for your own liking.

The console in the middle of the van gives you a great deal of space and options as

well. I like the fact that you can store things on the floor between the seats and not feel

cramped. The features with the seats and the console are very easy to use. The on dash

maintenance system helps you...
...

jbrynm says "Mini van that looks like an SUV" about Nissan Quest - 2006

I never wanted to drive a minivan, but when I saw this one I had to have it. With the moon roofs lining the ceiling all the way to the very back seats, the Bose sound system, dvd player and air bags everywhere, it was perfect. It doesn't look like a minivan and it drives like a car. Both passenger doors and the back door open by remote which is perfect when you are running in the rain. I would reccomend the Quest to anyone!...

My husband and I did a ton of online research before purchasing our first minivan (I swore I would never own one), and that research included safety features, crash-test ratings, engine size, optional features, etc.

After doing the research, we did the test-drives and the Nissan won hands-down, especially since they offered all the safety features on all trim levels, so we didn't have to break the bank to keep the family safe.

We have had the van for a little over a year and love it. The kids carseats fit great, the dog is comfy, my 6'2" husband has no issues with bashing his head on the roof and we have plenty of room to shove all the assorted acoutrements of a family on the go. The ride is smooth, it handles very well and thus far I have no complanits. An added plus: it is cheaper to insure and plate every year than our other front-runner would have been!
...

madmax8fan says "Best Van on Market - Nissan Quest" about Nissan Quest - 2006

After have many different mini vans over the past 4 years and not being happy with any of them I have found my match. I love this van. The best thing about this van is the space you have. The best way I can described it is like when you walk in a house that is very open that is this van. You have more room in this van that you can imagine. I am tall and have not been able to sit in any other van with comfort. I have plently of leg room even in the back seats. I like how the seats fold down in the car it means that I don't have to ask my husband to take the seats out and then wait for a month for him to put them back in. I can put them up and down when i want. Rides really well. I have not complaints about this van....

mariella says "Nissan Quest is a great all around vehicle for any size family." about Nissan Quest - 2006

The Nissan Quest is great for travel with the dogs or with family and friends. This van is comfortable, has ac in front and rear of vehicle, and good sound system. Gas mileage is ok, for size of this vehicle. The one thing that could be improved upon is the rear seats fold down nicely, but there are spaces inbetween the seats. Makes it challenging to keep dogs safe when they are riding along. I have to make adjustments for the safety of my dogs. I love the sliding doors on both sides of the van....
