The Nissan Murano is the absolute best & extremely comfortable. I orginally got this vehicle because I have serious back problems, and it is absolutely PERFECT! It's so comfortable and exactly the right height so that I don't have to worry about hurting myself getting in and out of the truck. It's also very safe, and reliable. The only drawback is that the trunk does not have much room in it, but the overall comfort of the vehicle overrides any drawbacks. It's the perfect truck for my family....

I chose the 2009 Nissan Murano after reading many reviews and test driving the vehicle itself. I fell in love with the easy handling and the CVT-continuous variable transmission and the complete comfort in the Murano. I drove a smaller, lower priced SUV and found that the Nissan is much better in quality and comfort by leaps and bounds. I wanted the Glacier Pearl color with beige interior and drove almost 300 miles to get it and it was well worth the trip. Louis Biondi of Biondi Motor Company made the trip worth making! They are an awesome group of people to work with and made me feel like I was family! If I ever have to buy another vehicle, I will defiantly got back to Pittsburgh to Biondi and purchase from them!
...

Bryan-Carey says "Nissan Murano 2009: Good SUV Alternative" about Nissan Murano - 2009

For many years now, I have been driving an SUV as my primary vehicle and while I certainly like the large interior, I don’t like the extra costs for gasoline, the added difficulty with manueverability, and other issues. But now, there are SUV alternatives known as crossover SUV that offer some of the positive features of a regular SUV, minus some of the negatives. One crossover SUV that I had the chance to try out while on vacation was the 2009 Nissan Murano, a midsize crossover SUV.

Automobile Commentary:

The 2009 Nissan Murano is a five- passenger vehicle offered in three different trim levels: S, SL, and LE. The "S" trim level is the most basic, with a nice set of options but nothing exceptional or luxurious. Upgrade to the "SL" and you get a powered driver's seat, leather- wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, and privacy glass. Move on up to the 2009 Nissan Murano LE and you get everything offered on the SL trim level, plus 20- inch wheels, rain sensing wipers, heated...
...

LisaCarey says "Would I Buy the Nissan Murano 2009? " about Nissan Murano - 2009

Thanks to Hertz Car Rental, I was able to spend quite a bit of time in San Diego, CA driving around in a brand new Nissan Murano 2009. For those who like the technical details:

Features of the Nissan Murano 2009

Luxury model

6 cyl, 3.5L

mid size SUV

AWD

5 passenger seating

TONS of safety features

MSRP approximately $35,000

What I liked about the 2009 Nissan Murano

comfortable with lots of leg and head room

easily seats 3 in the back even with car seats

deceptively large storage space (it looks small)

sound system

approximately 25 miles to the gallon highway

easy riding even on tough roads

easy to lift rear door

What I don't like about the 2009 Nissan Murano

hard to start - you have to do certain things in a certain order before starting

keyless ignition

hard to find features/accessories

children can easily open the doors (as we found out)

child lock out also locks out front passenger (I had to ASK my husband to roll down my window and...

...
