I love Wii Sports! I have a blast playing it with my little brother and sister. There is tennis, bowling, boxing, golf, baseball and so much more! I love playing on the Wii because it feels like I am actually playing the sport. It can get really competative with my brother and sister even though I am a lot older than them because they can sometimes kick my butt! I love the realistic features and my favorite game would have to baseball. It really is like you are really playing because if you swing at the right time you will hit the ball. As a matter of fact my sister plays softball and it has helped improved her hitting! I would recomend this product to anyone because it is a lot of fun and I really enjoy playing it. You can even play by yourself against a "Mi" player (computerized) and it is just as fun. This game is loads of fun and it is great for any age and sex. It actually brings the competitiveness out in me.
...

How can any one say this games is boring. Me and my husband spend our day off playing. Our favorite game is the golf and the golf frisbee. Trying to stay under par is a and earning the badges. Its beats just sitting there playing a regular video games where you are just using the controller. You have to actual bowl, paddle in the canoe and biking races. Over all the games are fun and challenging and will keep you active. Waiting for the next sports game to come out. It has playstation 3 beat by a long shot.
...

tripindogg says "Wii like to play" about Nintendo Wii - Wii Sports

If you spend $200 on a Wii, you want more than a system. Luckily, Nintendo throws Wii Sports into the box.

There are four games -- bowling, golf, tennis, and baseball. What most people fail to notice about the game is that each of those four games uses a different movement of the Wiimote [[that's slang for the Wii controller]]. Each sports shows a different way that the Wiimote can be held and manipulated. It shows the new Wii owner how versitile the new system is.

The Wii comes with one Wiimote, and, if you notice, Wii Sports is filled with one-player games. Yes, you can compete against your buddies if you want, but you don't have to. This game does everything the Wiimote can do -- and allows you to do it alone, with the one controller that comes with the game.

If you want to try something along the same lines, but with a friend, you wanna pick up Wii Play. But tha's a completely different review.
...

The Nintendo Wii-Wii Sports is a great game! It came with the Nintendo Wii, so it is the first game I ever played on it. There are five "sports" you can play with this game: tennis, baseball, bowling, golf, and boxing. In tennis, you simply swing the WiiMote to hit the ball. In baseball, you can swing the bat or throw the ball. In bowling, you bowl the ball. In golf, you swing the club, and in boxing, you use the WiiMote and Nunchuk to hit your opponent ITS LIKE YOUR REALY PLAING THE GAME. Every time you play one of the sports, you acquire points towards that sport. Once you get 1000 or more points, you become "Pro." In some games, something special happenes when you are Pro, such as in bowling, where you get a special ball with stars all over it. For each sport, there is also three training games. For example, in golf, you have to try to land the ball on a target, trying to get the highest points possible. There is also the "Wii Fitness Age," which is a very, very dumbed down...
...

The Nintendo Wii Sports video game is so much fun! I'm an extremely busy mom. I don't have a lot of free time to exercise plus, I'm 40 - something and feeling my age on most days so it's very hard to keep myself motivated to do "regular" exercises. I do take time out to play with my son though and he loves this video game as much as I do. We play it together almost every day. We have fun together and get in some exercise at the same time - priceless! Golf and bowling are our two favorites but we play them all. I really like the fitness test that's available on it. I started out with a fitness age of 52 but now I'm up to 23. Not bad for an old lady, LOL! I've also noticed that I'm not as stiff and achy as I used to be when I wake up in the mornings. All of our friends like this game too so some days, I get in double the exercise because I'll play it with my son in the afternoon and then I'll play it again with my friends in the evening. Thank God for Nintendo products!
...

My husband and I purchased the wii system soon after it came out. We were not sure about the wii sports game, but did not have the money to buy another game at the time, so we tried it out. We were very glad that we did. It was so much fun to play together. My husband loves to play tennis, and loved that game on the wii sports game. He always beat me, so it was not my favorite, but it was a lot of fun. Hy personal favorite was the bowling game. I found it to be so much fun I could not put down the controller. It was so addictive. I also love the fact that it gets you up and active. At least it did that for us. I was so into it that I would swing for the fence in the baseball game. I love the motion control in the game. I was surprised how well it picked up your movements. If something happened to my wii sports disk, I would go out and buy a new disk. This is one of my favorite games of all time. And, one of the best games for the wii nintendo system.
...

Mash1284 says "Wii Sports - Fun for the Whole Family" about Nintendo Wii - Wii Sports

Wii Sports is sort of the face of the Nintendo Wii. Anyone who has a Wii has probably spent time playing this with friends and family. It is composed of 5 sports games, Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Golf and Boxing. It is a game that even non-video gamers will enjoy as it is both easy to play and very fun. It is a great way to introduce gamers to the style of the playing Wii, which uses your body's motion instead of just sitting with a controller in your hand. This game can lead to hours of fun.

Tennis is one of the better games in Wii Sports. Your Mii character will react nicely to your forward and backwards swings. Just make sure you are far enough away from the other player as your arms will be swinging!

Bowling is a blast and probably feels the most realistic of all the games. It can just get too easy after a while.

Golf can be fun with 1 player or multi player, but can also be frustrating (just like real golf).

Baseball was probably my least favorite on Wii Sports. It was just too basic....
...

The Wii Sports on Nintendo Wii is very fun and awesome. It is awesome because anyone can play. As young as four year olds and as old as sixty years old or maybe older depending on the person's health and well being. It gives you a lot of exercise that is great, fun, and the best part is it is indoors. It brings so many laughs for the whole family. The games are interactive, have a great variety, you can pick your favorites and play those, and their are more challenging levels and you can become a pro. You can play with up to four people but you can also play by yourself. It is great for all ages and fun with friends and family. It is easy to operate and an indoor workout. The games have very life-like movements and all the games are fun and and awesome. All the games are a great workout especially with boxing but even tennis, bowling, baseball, and golf can provide a very nice workout. All in all the wii sports is awesome.
...

Wii Sports is the best Wii game available. It has all different options to choose from, you can play a ton of different games and keep on going to get to the different medals (gold, silver, bronze). So you want to keep playing because it gives you that extra incentive to be the best at each level. I like so many of the games, and the extra remote is just terrific because a lot of these games are more fun as 2 players, although it is just as fun by yourself. I get so addicted to this game and play it all the time. It keeps being fun, it is not one of those games where you feel like you get bored or are finished easily after the first few weeks. If you have a Wii, you definitely need to go out and buy this game. It is what makes the remote so cool and the whole point of having a wii is this game alone.
...

What would you do if you were able to play all sorts of games in the comfort of your own home? I know what I would do - buy a Wii and then buy the Wii Sports game! This game has all sorts of sports - Bowling, Boxing, Golf, Tennis, Baseball - that you can play by yourself or play with friends! There are different scenarios that you can choose to play, and you are rated based on your abilities. There is even a section in the Wii Sports application where you can find out your Wii Age! This game is fun for beginners because you don't have to know how to use the system in order to play - it gives you instructions on how to use the remote to play the different games. Like other Wii games, it monitors how you are doing, and adjusts the skill level based on the player that you choose to be. The only thing that I have to say about it is that the Boxing game is a little tough - the gloves never seem to match up with where I am actually hitting. Other than that, I love the Wii Sports game!...
...

The wii sports is wonderful. My husband and I play everyday and when my daughter and future son-in-law come to visit they bring their controllers and we all spend the afternoon bowling, playing doubles tennis and taking turns at the baseball. My husband and I have created ourselves and our alter-ego mii's and put them in competition against each other. We play four bowlers and even have a beer frame (whoever had the most beer frames goes to the kitchen for the next snack). We play double tennis against the wii mii's, baseball against each other and bowl our best as individual's and against ourselves. It is a great way to be together, having fun, not spending a lot of money, sharing scores with our daughter and her finance and getting some exercise instead of being a couch potato. We also do the fitness tests and it is always a rewarding challenge for us senior citizens to work hard at being rated in the 20's and 30s age brackets. This has been one of...
...
