Super Smash Bros Brawl. is a great fighting game. The vast library of music are mostly great. There are over 30 characters to choose from, each with their own set of attacks and abilities. Up to 4 players can fight in over 20 stages which ranged by size and possible hazards. Some of which are classics from Melee. There are over 30 items which can turn the tide of the battle. Also, you can create your own stages, so it would look like anything you want. There's also an Adventure Mode thatwill take you to different enenmies and bosses, which can keep busy for days; if not weeks. There are a lot of other modes and challenges, which can open countless unlockables that some are easier to achieve than others. Although there is a Wi-Fi feature which you can battle other all over the world, the features are very limited. You can only fight in 2 Min battle either in 4 players or 2-on-2 battles. You can also look at movies of other fighters.

So we bought this game on the recommendation of the sales associate at the K-mart where we bought our Wii. when was that... over a year ago? (i think...)
anyway this kid was maybe 19, and so we asked him which was the most popular game for the Wii, and he says "get this one, it's awesome".

um... not so much.

it's a good fighting game, don't get me wrong. it's cool you get to be link or zelda or mario or even pikachu. it's got a pretty cool story line game as well. good for co-op mode. bonding time with the hubby. nice. but most people will play just for the street fighter style fighting game. and i really stink at those kinda games. seriously. i'm a "button masher", always have been. i have irritated every male person who dares invite me to play a fighting game. you know those guys who practice the combos? the ones who play with this look on their face of either total and complete concentration or constipation? yeah, they hate me. passionately. SSBM or Super Smash Brothers Brawl is the 3rd entry in the series. It is a unique fighting game. In the fact it takes nintendo characters and pits them against each other. It even has Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid and Sonic the Hedgehog as guest characters. If you ever wondered if Sonic could beat Mario, if Zelda could beat Ganon, if swords could beat guns you have found a game that lets you find out. Although all these cases rely on the skill of the players it's still fun to set up a scenario for the battle.

Battles revolve around 2-4 players trying to knock the others off the stage. If you get knocked off a stage you can attempt to jump back on, but if you fail you'll be blown off screen. Also, with each hit a character takes a damage percentage. As it gets higher the attacks on the character will send them further and further until eventually recovery becomes impossible. For the basics every character has special attacks that are activated by the B button or whatever...

Love to play "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" lots of action. Love that the game had a lot of characters to choose from. Most if not all characters from your old school Nintendo day's are featured in this game.

The graphics are amazing and the moves you could do with each character are great. No detail left out. It is a game that all the family could enjoy with a blend of characters old and new.

The only con that I found is that when I played the game for a couple of days that my Wii system could not read any of the Wii game discs. After some research to fix this problem I found that Nintendo made it very easy to fix. I had to send the Wii system in for maintenance, but Nintendo paid for the 2 day shipping and I had my console back within a week.

Brawls is a big step up from Melee. The only downfall this game has is its shear amount of replay value, at least it is bad for all of the people who want to collect all of the trophies. The game itself is excelent. Online gameplay sucks though, most of the time the game does not register like every other fourth button you put in, at least for me. Great multiplayer opportunities, a larger selection of characters, custom stage building, and finally an actual story mode, who can ask for more?...

This game filled all my expectation's, and more!
Even though I've been a huge fan of the Smash series since the beginning I can't find much reason for ANYONE to not enjoy this game
The graphics are amazing, the controls are simple, and there's so much to do you're guaranteed to spend countless hours in one sitting with this game....

This third game in the Smash Bros series hits home with many avid Wii and Smash Bros. supporters. The multiplayer is better then ever and a multitude of new characters keeps this game exciting for much longer than the older versions. The story is way too long and gets old fast. No matter how many boss characters you seem to beat, there always seems to be one more. If you are looking for a good story, I don't think Smash Bros. in general is a wise decision. If you are looking for a game that is easy to get the hang of and has great multiplayer capabilities, this may be the game for you....

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is definitely one of a kind. I mean how many fighting games do you know where you can smash your opponent way off the board and a constant barrage of items to obliterate your opponent. Not to mention the cool smash moves unique to each of the 35 characters. Lots of stuff to unlock to keep you interested. I love this game....

Coming from one of the greatest video game franchise it did not fall anywhere short of expectation. Its one of the greastest games of all time. this time though, theres more characters than ever. Which means there outa be a character for everybody. also you dont have to keep playing the same stages, theres a new feature which allows you to build your own stage! the possibilities are ENDLESS! EVEN BILLY MAYS WOULD LIKE THIS GAME, YOU NEED IT!...

Well i would say that this game is probably the game of the year to me. It has a adventure taste to if with the subspace emisarry but other than that its fun. Although the online gameplay is a little laggy its still fun to play other people. All in all this game is freaking awesome! =)

I am addicted to this game. I am not a huge gamer, but love this game. I am not normally any good at fighting games, but I can handle this one. I love all the different characters and stages. There are so many recognizable characters, such as Mario, Zelda, Pikachu, Kirby, Yoshi, and tons more to choose from. You get many of the characters by unlocking them in many various ways, same for stages.

The game is a blast to play in multi-player mode, and also fun alone, but I end up going insane because, for me, the end character/boss is ridiculously hard to beat. I think I have beat him once. I am also going insane because for some reason, not sure why, I am obsessed with unlocking jiggly puff. I have looked up the "Cheats" on unlocking her and I guess I just have to be patient and keep at it, but most of my patience is used with my 1 year old, my hubby (lol) and housework, so the game gets bare minimum. My entire family loves this game!

You can use the wii remotes, the game cube remotes or a combo of the 2. We love to whamp on each other and are still finding new kinds of game play in the game.
