i am the old school guy used to play mario on tv .. i was skeptical when i bought mario on wii but hey fellas, guess what .. it met all my expectation and i enjoy playing it wii.. simply awesome.. what else to say go and buy this game if you are a mario fan .. it worked for me and it will work for you .. go out and spend ur stimulus money on buying new things .. help america to get out of this recession buy spending more money in the market....

This is a really fun game.. they were very creative for this one! The little pixels you collect are cute, and there are some really tough challenges to get certain obstacles... A really fun game, overall... especially if you've always been a Mario fan from the beginning!...

this game makes the perfect blend of old school platforming and new school rpg. great game. You go through challenging platforming levels, and along the way, gain levels. Rather than a traditional rpg battle system, you simply jump on your enemies, just like any old mario game played. Along the way you meet others who help you and give you special abilities. You get creatures called pixls that give you abilities such as shrinking, the ability to use a hammer, and many other abilities. It is well worth a buy, and is sure to please both hardcore and casual gamers. The learning curve is very quick and the game gets very addicting very quick. If you are new to gaming, or just looking for a great game, then Super Paper Mario is well worth your time.

My son is seven years old and he LOVES Mario Paper. He first played it on the old Nintendo 64 that we have and once he tried the Wii version it was all that he could talk about. He is obsessed with Mario, Mario everything. This by far is his favorite Mario game and I would recommend it to all of his friends.

Super Paper Mario was the first game I got for the Wii. I loved it! I could hardly put the game down to go to sleep or work! It kept me entertained for a long time! I really enjoyed how it took things from the original games and brought it up to speed. I think this game is something the family can enjoy and would definately recommend it to everyone! If you enjoed Mario on the nintendo you will love Super Paper Mario! I can't wait for more Mario games to come out!

I absolutely loved this game! Super Paper Mario for Wii console allows the player to switch from 2-D to 3-D with the touch of a button! This is the first game that I have heard of that has this awesome feature. You can run or swim around the Super Mario world in with different colorful lands that incorporate all the characteristics of previously released Super Mario titles. The object of the game is to save Princess Peach as always and to do this you must collect stars and go through different obstacles using your Wii mote to do hand movements. You change between 2-D and 3-D to save yourself from enemies usually just in the knick of time. Often times if you cannot figure something out in 2-D mode you should switch to 3-D to see your way through it but sometimes 2-D makes it easier to move around. The picture quality is fantastic and so is the sound quality This game seriously takes me back to my youth when I played simple 2-D Super Super Mario games. The new Wii technology is allows......

The only video game I had ever played (and was any good at) was the original Super Mario Brothers for the Nintendo. Think back 20 years....yep, that was the one! I was good. I even saved the Princess....twice!

Fast forward 10 years and Dr. Mario was released for Nintendo 64 and guess what? I loved it! I could sit and play it for hours and hours.

Fast forward 10 more years and the ever-popular Nintendo Wii has been released and of course, I see Super Paper Mario. I was so excited! I bought it immediately..waited a few hours for the kids to go to bed and my Hubby and I got busy...playing Super Paper Mario!

At first, I felt like I was watching a 30 minute movie...it drug on and on explaining what was to be done, etc. Ok..got it. L et's get to the game. I want to jump on turtles and keep bouncing them into the block for free men. That didn't happen. After the introductory "movie", we started our way through the game. Well, there is an option to...

This game is very fun, yet challenging. I usually enjoy puzzle type of games but this one is a puzzle, yet there is action and adventure. Its fun for older children+, you really need to apply some problem solving techniques, or more like lateral thinking! Its fun and addictive....

Super Paper Mario-wii

First off. Lets start with this. If you have tween children and a Wii, this game is for you. Or rather, it is for them. However, if you are beyond your tween years, and are considering this game for yourself, read on.

If you wish games were just they were in the 80s, complete with bad graphics, way to much time spent reading lame text and giddy silly music, then this game is for you! If you are looking a game that is actually fun on the Wii, keep looking. Or try the new Guitar Hero game (recently released for the Wii).

Super paper Mario is quite simply for those who love Mario games. I personally enjoyed them when they were the only fish in the sea many years ago. However, revisiting the same tired game play with marginal adjustments that seem more kitsch than cool, makes for some very unsatisfying game play. That is, when you actually get to play. You spend far too much time in "The Store" essentially and way too much time reading really bad text balloons that stand......

This game is surprisingly great. I did not expect much when I bought it but it seamlessly integrates a 3D feel into a 2D platformer. I played the Paper Mario game for the Gamecube and was satisfied and am currently playing the original on the Wii Virtual Console and found this game to be right in line with series. I thoroughly enjoyed it but the only downside for me is the length of the game. I beat the game in no time flat and now I am trying to find hidden things and things I missed, but I missed the storyline from the game not that I have beaten it.

I had to sit through 15-20 min of dialogue in the begininin of the game before you even start to do anything. And you can't skip through it. Very slow moving and a lot of switching back and forth. They also don't talk right. I was really unimpressed with this game. I played it a couple a times thinking that it might get better as the game progressed but it never did. I finally gave up and sold it....

I am a big fan of Paper Mario. I think this third installment in the series is the best one ever. I really like how it plays up the 2D factor of the game, In this game it extends the playing field, letting you go from the background to the foreground. You think you see a house, but you hit a switch, and there's a bridge to another area across the way.
My favorite part of this game is that it let's you play as other characters in the game, not just in a few cut scenes. My favorite character to play as is Bowser. He has some serious fighting power, even if he can't really jump. Each new character has a great and helpful ability. These new characters are on top of your normal allies that help along the way.
My only complaint about this game is the long dialogue scenes. I think the game would play much better without having to sit through a movie in between scenes.
I would definitely recommend this game to others. It is fun to play, and easily holds your interest....
