I have always been a fan of Mario party and Nintendo Wii - Mario Party 8 delivers again! This is a great game to play with a bunch of people or even by yourself. The several game boards are unique and each have their own twist on how the game is played. In one board the stars are always moving, while on another board you buy property to earn stars.

In Nintendo Wii - Mario Party 8, the mini-games have a nice variety and are super fun. The game definitely takes advantage of the way the Wii remotes capture the player's motion. Whether you are pulling carrots from a garden or scrubbing paint off of a bomb, the mini games are fun, different and never get boring.

Nintendo Wii - Mario Party 8 is a game that the whole family can play. It is fun and challenging enough to hold the interest of adults but not so hard that young kids would have a problem playing. This is one of my very favorite Wii games!

My family absolutely loves Mario Party 8. My little one is only 7 and beats her (very Nintendo experienced) dad often. My 10 year old is usually reluctant to play any console games but always ends up enjoying this one. There is a wide variety of games for all age and skill levels.

I love Mario Party 8. Seriously. I'm the superstar.

The game is pretty basic. You have a board and you try to make it to the end -- wherever that may be -- collecting stars along the way. Whichever player has the most stars at the end wins the game.

After every roll and each of the four players has advanced, there are mini-games, which really utilize the wiimote [[also known as the control]]. You can play one-on-one; two-on-two; free for all; or a bonus game where you win coins and no one loses. Those games are really fun because you're never sure what game is coming up and you really get to see what the wiimote is all about.

The more you play, the more "cards" you get. You can use these cards to buy things, like mini-games, songs, or characters to walk in a parade [[I don't get that]].

If you want a shorter version, there is an option, so if you don't have a full hour to devote to playing, you can still have a good time.

It's so much fun. It's one of my top Wii games for sure.

Nintedo Wii's Mario Party 8 is a great game. It is very easy for anyone to play. My Mom could even play and she doesn't even know how to use her cell phone! The games are fun but can get borning after awhile. I would and do recommend this to everyone with a Nintendo Wii....

wii mario party 8 is a good multiplayer game but i did not enjoy the single player mode. we had fun but you need one controller per person, you cannot share controllers like you can with wii sports bowling. the minigames are good fun. the bonuses will keep you playing for more. wish it had better boards though. the best one by far is the one where you buy hotels, the others are rather repetitive and bland. there is good use of the wiimote, although some games are unresponsive or overly-responsive. the graphics are fair. good enough, but hardly ground-breaking. the colors are sometimes a little off. I would have liked to have been able to use miis (in the board games) but you can't. sound is fitting if not particularily great....

One hell of a fun game. Easy to learn and fun for everyone of all ages. It has a good variety of games. The games are fun when playing by yourself or with a group of people. Overall a very good game for everyone.

Admittedly this is our first "party" game, and we love it. The mini games are a blast, and you get to use the wii remote in lots of creative ways. As you play, you unlock different mini games and characters which is a nice addition. One of the game "boards" you can play has the added challenge of investing your coins into different buildings. The monopoly-style feature is fun, especially if you are playing with both people and some computer opponents....

We purchased th Wii about a year and a half ago and have accrued quite a few games. Out of all of them, this is the game we keep coming back to. If you are looking for a game you can play with a group, you will not be dissapointed in this one. I have always been a fan of the Mario Party games, but the Wii took it to a whole other level by making it so interactive. Our entire family can play this game and be entertained for hours. You will not be sorry for buying this game!!...

Love the twist on the good ol' board game. Makes it fun, and addictive. My little ones love the mini-games and bonus stars. Good selection of characters to choose from. There is always a new twist on whichever board you play. It's never the same! ...

First Mario Party I have ever played. I personally think that this game is great it keeps me entertained for hours. Alot of stuff to do and discover in this game. The game never seems to end. Great buy for anyone. This game should be very easy for young kids to play. This game is also great for groups to play. Fun with four people playing all the mini games and battling it out. This is the perfect game to start off you wii experience....

If you have liked the past Mario Party games, then you will enjoy this one as well. More sophisticated than the last due to the Wii console system. This time you can jump and move with your charactors if you like. The game is a bit harder than the last due to the sophistication of the game. Same charactors up to the same old antics. There are some new twists and many more stars are earned than before....

This really is the best version. I've been a huge fan of the Mario Party games ever since the first time I played a few years ago. Nintendo has out done themselves with this game. The graphics are amazing. They incorporate brand new battles and mini games. The different board games are all new.

This is a great family game. Its wholesome fun for all ages. My husband and I love playing with our kids.

This is a great famliy multiplayer game. I have four kids and they can all play it. They love playing this game and enjoy the option of playing the board games or playing mini games in the game tent. There are a ton of mini games to unlock which keep it interesting for the kids.

I bought this game as a 27 years old adult, because its one game I can play with the kids, and not get my butt kicked by the older ones, and still giving the younger kids a chance to play also. This is a great game for all ages. Its very similar to the other games in this series but its well worth the investment. Its a different gaming experience everytime you play. It can be played by my family of 4 all at once too, which is why this is one of my favorite party games. You dont have the kids screaming and fighting over whos turn it is, or who has been playing longer. No very education, but fun, and builds hand eye cordination. The wii's controls play well into this game for a fun and new experience....
