This is the best game on a console I have ever played! What I like about this game is how interactive it is and how engrossed you can get into the game play. It's nice to be able to play a game with family because we can play as a team or have a friendly competition. The music is great and really takes me back to some of the tunes I grew up listening to on MTV and through my parents collection. Guitar Hero also has that element to show how great or not show great your doing when you play songs. It will diffinately test your memory and speed and ability. The other versions of Guitar Hero are great to like Guitar Hero Aerosmith, Metallica and newest one about to be released Guitar Hero Pop Star. There seems to be no bounds in what you can do with Guitar Hero and the game play. As I mentioned before to be able to play a game that all the family can enjoy is rare especially a game that offers great graphics, and did I forget to mention addictive?! Well it is!

Nintendo Wii - Guitar Hero III is fun for the whole family, not just the kids. INo need to buy expensive systems because the game cartridge plays on the older Playstation II. You can purchase memory cards to keep track of the level you are on.

How it works is there is a guitar neck blown up on screen and colored circles move down the neck toward you and your fingers need to press the coordinating colors on the guitar you are holding as viewed on your tv screen while pressing a lever. It sounds difficult but actually quite simple.

The songs include artists such as Heart, Santana, Guns n' Roses, Pat Benetar, Slayer, Metallica. Cream and many other artists from the last few decades. It is easy to play and if you know the song, or once you learn it you can apply that knowledge to easier streamline your play.

It is simple to set up another guitar for two person play competition. The more songs you master the higher the level.

This game system is well worth the price and the quality...

I've never been much of a video game person, but I have to admit, guitar hero hooked me. I enjoyed the change in pace from other more traditional video games. One thing I disliked about guitar hero for the wii was that you have to place the romote in the guitar itself. As you don't have to do this with any other game system, it seems to me like that shouldn't have to happen. It's not like it's to difficult to do or anything, just one more thing you have to do, especially if you switch between games often. Other than that, however, I had a great time with guitar hero and enjoyed playing it with my wii....

I have several different Guitar Hero games. This one is the best! I love the songs and have enjoyed trying to unlock them all! The guitar battle is also really fun. The only downside to this game, is the same with most of the Guitar Hero games, it is next to impossible on the hardest level. Overall this is a great game! My whole family enjoys it!

Oh, to be the ignored middle child! Our son complained about this mightily, and it was true he did get overlooked from time to time. OK, pretty consistently. So when Wii with Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock went on sale at WalMart, I said, "What the hey, let's get it for his birthday. It's all he wants." And my sweet prince agreed. The first clue I had that this was a winner was when he blew by me with the package yelling, "Sweet mother of God! It's a Wii!" He was able to set it up with just a bit of adult help and has been playing it ever since. I was a bit worried about turning him into a couch potato, but have discovered that he and his sister stand up to play and either dance or at least rock with the beat. To my adult eyes the graphics are gross, but, oh the sweet memories the songs evoke to the ears! And now he wants to learn to play a real accoustic guitar, so that's an activity we can share. I'll admit to taking a turn with the Wii guitar myself, but just......

This is the first Guitar Hero that I own and I love it! The controler works great, I often come home and "rock out". The tracks are more obsure and more "metal" then I'd prefer.. looking forward to the newest version.

I recently became addicted to the Guitar Hero video game so I purchase Guitar Hero III for our Nintendo Wii. I was impressed with the song selection, and I was lucky to find a used copy of it for us at our local video game store. This would have to be my second favorite out of all of them because the only reason I like the World Tour game better is because it has twice as many songs as any other addition.

The song selection is excellent on Guitar Hero III. They have quite a few classic songs, as well as a bunch of challenging songs. This is definately a game for families, as there are several levels of difficulty to choose from, so everyone can play. My three year old even understands the concept of the game and loves to play along, and my one year stares and dances to the music.

You can play alone or use the multiplayer mode to compete against someone else. My husband and I love to play against each other to see who is better. I have a lot more time on my hands to play, so...

Guitar Hero is a blast to play on those rainy or sunny days. The music is great and it's really fun to play. Everyone can have fun, even as others watch! As a beginner of the Wii, it is great to have different levels of the game, as the challenge stays as you get better. The guitars are really comfortable and the longer you play, the more surprises you can get. I would highly recommend to use the strap and stand as you play. You can become a great rock star with practice while others can do the same in challenges, a dual band, or by yourself. The better you do, the more money you can make and the more items you can buy from the store. It's great fun!

The rockband game for Wii is definatly fun for many age groups. It is a little complicated at firsrt but its interesting. We are very careful with the wii and its games, but after having it for less than a month the sensor on the guitar broke. Saying that they did replace it for free, but the shipping process took weeks....

We bought this game for something the whole family can play, and let me tell you it is HIGHLY addicting!!! We all love playing it, and is by far the best game that we own with the most fun. Great for all ages....

We bought the Guitar Hero in June and we have enjoyed it ever since. We also got the Aerosmith version... now we are wanting more.... Guitar has a good feel size wise and the motions are the closest too the real thing you'll get in a video game....

something about this game is great it may look simple but its addictive. as a person who though the idea of this game was stupid and didn't want to even give it a chance. after a friend forced me to i loved it. so im sure you will enjoy playing this as we. i now say go and buy it now!!!!
