You all played it in your childhood, especially if you are a product of the 1980's just like me. The Nintendo will always reign as one of the greatest entertainment sources of all time. Unlike the newer consoles, the Super Nintendo stays true to it's players. The games are still full of fun, and resemble some of those which you played on their previous system (NES - Nintendo Entertainment System). Some of the funner games include Super Mario Brothers - All Stars, The Animaniacs, and my favorite Diddy Kong Racing. Now a days, you can find similar products such as the Retro Duo or the FC Twin that emulate the Super Nintendo, but of course, nothing beats the original. Get your hands on one of these while you still can of course. You can't really find them in stores, which means you have to look online (Amazon, EBAY, Craigslist) to find potential sellers. Or if you have the patience, check out the local yard sales or thrift stores and you will find them at very cheap prices....
...

I love the Super NES. The graphics were much greater than the NES (although that's a timeless classic as well that I love very much). My favorite thing about this console is the simplicity. The controllers are easy to navigate. My favorite game on this console is definitely Super Mario World. S-NES Rocks!
...

I have loved this system since it came onto the market. It is a great system and until the wii came out it was the best one that nintendo had made, much better then the gamecube or the n64. It is old school, but the controller was great and the 2d games were the best. A real upgrade over the nes and it held it's own up against the genesis. This was gaming in the 90's at it's best.
...

Absolutely the greatest gaming console ever made. Oh yes, I went there. I was an 80s child, grew up in front of the original Nintendo with its limited features and highly pixelated characters... and when Super Nintendo came out, I remember thinking, yes! I'm happy to be alive!

Over the years, I've "lost" (read: others took) and re-purchased the console, and it's always been worth it. Granted, I've never spent over $50 for it, but I wouldn't look twice for any price under $100. This console is totally worth it.

You can't beat the classic games of Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, and Yoshi's Island. I'm a girl, so I didn't get too caught up in the racing games or fighting, but the melodic music and stunning graphics so easily rendered in Super Nintendo is what keeps me coming back. Whenever I break out the Nintendo, it's a crowd pleaser.

These consoles are extremely durable, and can put up with me when I toss the controllers across the room. The only problem is that the game catridge...
...

The super NES Console is by far the best gaming system out there, to this day! it has all the classics from Mario1-3, Tetris, Donkey Kong, and Street Fighter. Not to mention the fact that the games are in much better detail than regular nintendo. The games keep you leisurely amused for hours of fun with your friends....

I own most modern and most retro video games systems but this system has to be the best out there.
Its spritely cartoon graphics the most comfortable controller ever designed a awesome selection of games something to suit all tastes. A high percentage of the games available for the super nintendo have playabilty in spades unlike alot of modern titles.
Another great factor is the lack of loading times just switch on and play. For me the only downside is the game boxes are made from card so are sometimes hard to find in good condition which is maybe why this format is so collectable.
Any fan of gaming retro or not should own one. You want to know why ? i will tell you The Super Nintendo launched with only a limited number of games, most notably Super Mario World which also happens to be the best selling game on the system. It bacame the best selling game for a good reason, for me it is the greatest 2-d platform game ever bar none if you enjoy platform games the snes is worth buying for Super......

My brother and sister own an XBOX 360, I had an XBOX. Neither of those compare to the Super Nintendo that remains in my college dorm room. With all the next-gen systems coming out and the number of games, it's ridiculous. I'll take my 16-bit system with my favorite 3 games: Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, and Super Metroid. Who needs a new system when you can relive your childhood with the greatest system put out?...

Yeah, the legendary Nintendo Entertainment System (or NES for short) had me and tons of other gamers drooling from the mouth back in the 1980's. Of course with it's huge of list of great and engaging games like Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda and Bionic Commando it had me hooked to the TV and avoiding my homework. Despite how good the 8-bit NES was back then it was hard not to notice there were plenty of competitors out there like Turbografx-16 and Sega Genesis that looked so much better and Nintendo needed to get up off their butt and do something about it. Back in 1991 Nintendo would finally release an all new machine with its fancy 16-bit power, advance sound, cool 3D effects, and ..... um other goodies.

When the Super NES first came out back then you not only got the system itself but you also got the big sequel to Super Mario Bros. 3 called Super Mario World has a pack in game. Although the game didn't look like that big of a jump since the game has this overly cute style to it,...
...

I remember the Christmas I bought my boys the Super Nintendo which was when the two oldder were 11 & 12, They are now 19 & 20. That Christmas they were on school break for 17 days. When they opened there gift and saw the system we didn't see them come out of their room for hours per day. They looked the system so much that they could tell you every and anything about it. After that we continued to buy them other systems - they enjoy them too- but not as much as the Super Nintendo- it'll never be them same. I also have 2 younger boys who have played on the system and like it but it's just not the same as that very Super Nintendo Christmas!!...
