I bought 2 pieces of networking equipment at the same time - one from Amazon and one from newegg. I needed the 2 items for extending my network. I split my order between the 2 online companies because I was shopping for the best price after shipping. Amazon's free super saver shipping arrived the same day as newegg's 3-day UPS ($8.71). Unfortunately, the solution I devised would not work in my home. So, I simultaneously went to both sites to begin the return process. Amazon's was painless and they said they would arrange at no charge for UPS to come pick it up from the same address they shipped to - although they offered to reimburse me up to $6.11 if I wanted to ship it some other way. On the other hand, newegg said they would charge a restocking fee of 15% ($24). Then when I went to print a return UPS label for newegg, I had to give a credit card and pay $11.27 to print the label to ship it back. Bottom line, I am out of pocket $43.98 for the $160 item I purchased from...

Unless you can wait forever for your order to be processed, like constantly following up on the status of your order, and don't mind going through a security screening that makes the TSA look weak, do not use this vendor.

Twenty minutes after placing order online, received notice that our credit card would not go through, along with a list of "possible" reasons. We called our bank to give them a heads up on the online purchase and resubmitted our order. No more "rejection" emails from NewEgg the following day, so we left for the long holiday weekend, assuming our order would be received on Tuesday (we paid for overnight shipping). Arrived at work Tuesday morning to an email - sent at 10:50pm Friday night, advising that the order could not be processed because the phone # we gave did not match our credit card. Our bank verified that the NewEgg charge had already been approved and our card charged, nevertheless, I changed phone # and resubmitted. By late Wednesday...

I have used Newegg.com both for my own personal electronics purchases and for my company. They are consistantly one of if not the cheapest sources for computer components I have ever dealt with. They offer cheap rush shipping, and have a unmatched selection.

I have used their financing on occasion (for the $0 down no interest promotion) and was always pleased with the way their credit department treated me. I even kept the credit line open after I paid off the balance for a short while.

Perhaps the best feature of Newegg is the customer reviews. Newegg shoppers are encouraged to rate the products they purchase and and the service they recieved. I have changed my mind on numerous occasions on a purchase after reading their reviews, and have even visited the site to read the reviews on products I was purchasing from other vendors for various reasons.

I am in charge of purchasing all of the computer products for a newspaper publishing company and have used Newegg on several occasions...

I do have to say that they have very good prices and great product selection. What I don't like and makes we want to spend a bit more on other retails, which I may from now on, is being lied too. When you call customer service and they say that they will process it within 30 mins, twice, and then the processing takes an extra 3 days from the call after 3 days have initially passed for a total of 6 days. They got some problem in the processing department. You should consider revising your inefficient approach to processing orders. Process orders faster and you may have more business.

I would of given 3 stars, but just thinking of my ordeal just angered me even further.

When I shop for electronics, I usually start by checking the internet to gather information. Then, armed with this information, I head to an electronics store so that I can see and try out the item. Once I feel I know more about my potential purchase, I retun home, logon to the internet, and check several sites to see if I can get the same item for a lower price. Most of the time, the internet offers a better deal and one site I have used successfully for finding good deals on electronics is Newegg.com, an electronics superstore.

Newegg is very deceptive on their website. I purchased a canon powershot camera that was supposed to be a "combo special" which was to include a 4GB SD card and a case and I clicked that when I ordered the camera. My order verification even listed it. However I never received the SD card or the case and when I contacted them they said that the "combo special" expired the day before I ordered the camera. There was no indication on their website that there was an expiration date. They have yet to make it right....

i bought an HP p2015 printer which would not work since it came out of the box. had my computer guy come out and look at it and he still could not get it to work - when it came time to returning they would not take it back because i did not have the orignal box and HP would not take it back. when i called HP they said that was not the case. someone has their facts wrong. i would never consider buying anything from this company again.., ever.

I have built many computers, and am an avid computer user. I go to newegg to find the cheepest prices ever. Its very rare that I ever find a price better than neweggs. Newegg also has some of the easiest RMA service, and some of the best customer service around. If it were an option, I'd give newegg 6 stars!...

This is a great place online to get any and all items for your computer reather you are repairing a bought computer or trying to build one fro mscratch this website will always give you great prices!

I made a compter with a new motherboard new case monistor keyboard mouse and soudn card for under 600$ Was a great price and got the items in four days!...

I've been a Newegg shopper for many years. I've always had very good to great service. They stand behind their products if one fails for any reason within their coverage.

Shipping is usually very quick, even when you find a free shipping deal, you can get it in less than a week usually - rarely ever more than a week. If you're paying for shipping, then you always get it in the window that you've paid for in my experience.

I do price things out when I am in the market. Newegg usually has the best or near best prices. With my positive experiences their, I will still shop there even at the near best price.

If they have what you're looking for, I highly recomend them.

My boyfriend is CRAZY about electronics, and my brother in law (his best friend) is a builds computers for a living, and they bot love Newegg.

We have bought countless things from them, and everything has been of the best quality and the cheapest price.

New egg is an excellent company they're customer service is impecable and there prices are the best. I bought 2gb of ram and not only was the price the amazing the shipping was extremely fast. I also ordered a computer moniter and it was defective and after i returned it to them, they promtly sent me a replacement and the customer service was extremely understanding and helpful. One of the best store on the internet!!!!!!

This is a great website for research. You can easily sort through various technology products according to price, user rating, and other categories. Most importantly, you can read many customer reviews as you compare different products. The reviews are thorough, accurate, and thoughtfully enlighten you about the pro's and con's of a product. I always find information here that I don't find at CNet.

When it comes to shopping, I will frequently find great deals at Newegg too. Shipping is quick, and I've never had any problems. Newegg is the first place I go to for computer hardware.
