Since I used to live in Las Vegas, I had the luxury of visiting any of the hotels and casinos whenever I wanted to. I would have to say that New York New York is a great place to stay and play, even for the whole family. This casino has a great location on the strip, as well as it is family friendly.

The coolest thing about this hotel and casino is the roller coaster on the roof of the building. You can see it from a far. It is called the Manhatten Express, and you can even purchase an all day ticket if you want to ride it over and over again. I think a fun part of New York New York is the giant arcade inside. You can spend a whole day there and never get bored.

The arcade is definately a place to bring the whole family, because they have such a huge variety of games to choose from. We love to go there and play the crane games and winning stuffed animals for the kids, they had a lot of fun.

Stayed at the New York New York in Las Vegas on a recent trip out west. I love the location on the strip and the room prices weren't bad. Love the new york style sandwiches at the hotel. I didn't like all the construction going on inside. My kids also wanted an all access pass to the game room which they had several years ago when we went but didn't have it this time. This was my son's birthday and that's why he wanted to stay there. I don't know that we would stay here again unless the price was just incredible....

We didn't stay here - I only am gonna review the casino floor and the Broadway Burger Joint in the hotel. The Casino is split into sections based of real neighbourhoods in NYC. Times Square, Greenwich Village, Liberty - u get the idea. So much work has gone into the interior and it is so cool to see the life like parking meters and graffiti on the walls.

Broadway burger in Greenwich Village was simply superb. I have had some good burgers but this was jus perfect midnight snack after a night of gambling in the casino. If you love souvinier hunting like me, check out their stores on level 2 - fridge magnets for $1 and some real cool shot glasses.

So even if you didn't stay here, do come in and have a look around...

The New York New York-- what can I say it was a complete Dream. I got married in las vegas while we were there. I got my hair and makeup done for my wedding there the staff were so friendly. They even upgraded our room when we arrived because we told them we were on our honeymoon. Tell them that trust me other people that went before me told me to tell them that and they will upgrade your room for free. Right on the busy strip of Las Vegas I will say if you are a home-body, slow pasted person (like myself) that las vegas isnt for you. It was fun and all and I loved getting married and everything was really nice but because of how fast pasted everything was I probably wouldnt go back. If you are a partier then Las Vegas is definally for you! Overall though I give the hotel and staff a 5 star rating great place!...

I loved the friendliness of the staff at this hotel, and the rooms were very comfortable. The cheapest room was around $90 but was great because the rooms had all I needed including internet access, a hair dryer and a comfy bed and bath. I have always wanted to visit New York city and now you can get a big city feel in the middle of Las Vegas. The hotel has a great location being close to The Luxor and MGM Grand with a vibrant feel. It is fun to stroll the city streets inside where you get to wander shops and restaurants with a New York feel. For an upscale dining experience, visit Gallagher's Steakhouse or take in a scrumptious Italian dish at Il Fornaio. They also offer more casual options like the tasty Asian meals at Chin Chin or the game excitement at the ESPN zone. If you are in a hurry or need a late night bite, try America which offers salads and sandwiches at all hours of the day. For entertainment, I recommend Zumanity which is a Cirque Du Soleil performance like......

I chose the New York New York because of a good package deal and because I wanted to spend some time on the southern end of the strip, having spent most of my previous trip on the other side. The parking garage was very spacious and easy to navigate. The check-in line was long but moved along quickly. Our package included a strip view Park Avenue room. Because of the location and small room window, the strip view consisted of the street and the tourist trap shops across the street. The room was small, but very stylish, with lots of marble in the bathroom and upscale lighting and furnishings.

Our package included a buy one get one breakfast at the on-site Italian restaurant. The setting on the inside "river" was nice and the food was OK, but the prices would have been too high without the coupon. We also got two passes for the roller coaster, which was good because I wanted to ride it, but I wouldn't have paid $12 for the privilege. I will never ride it again, because I nearly...

The Hotel was very easy to check into. Check out was even easier we could do that from the room itself right on the tv was a check out process.

We ordered room service for our last day there and it came very quickly. Better to have exact money as the room service attendant did have to come back with change. Food was good. We our early risers and breakfast in the restaurants didn't start till 8 or so on the weekends. The other restaurants there were great.

Staff everywhere where very helpful. It was a little hard to find the pool but once there water was great and there is a bar there.

Would go back there next time in Las Vegas
